It's been 3 years, 3 years since we went missing, 3 years since she was kidnapped. Everyone could tell that her and I were more, I mean we kissed several times, and did more stuff if you know what I mean. We were leaving to go do the rest of the Invitation tour, and she couldn't come. Had to finish doing some school stuff, but she was going to meet up with us later. We planned to go on a date whenever she finally came to Europe. She went missing on June 8th, or our June 9th. And when we got the news it broke us, it was right after our show.
" Guys... " Eben whispers, he was in complete shock and was crying. And we all instantly went to his side.
" Hey what's wrong? " I ask him trying to show my support.
" Um.. Randy just got... informed by, oh God, " he whispers, Tyler is there next to him showing his support.
" You guys might want to sit down, " Tyler comments. We all went back to the dressing room, and Eben stood in front of us.
" Randy just got.. told, that-that Y/n has... has gone missing, " he cries, my heart stopped and I went into complete shock. I just started violently shaking my head towards him.
" No... no, she- " I begin to hyperventilate and Daniel is the one to grab a hold of me, and I just breakdown in front of everybody. Randy had come in and sat with us explaining what he was told by her mom.
" She never came home, and her mom just thought she was just so excited about getting to come over here that she was with Christian. When she asked Christian and all of you guys' friends none of them knew where she was. She hasn't been heard from in days, they declared her a missing person. They're trying to find her as we speak, " Randy tells us.
" How long has she been missing? " Jonah asks.
" 2 days, " he whispers, Eben is a complete mess more than me. This is his baby sister, and she's-she's the love of my life.
They searched for nearly 6 months but no one found her. And she was presumed dead, dead. Y/n dead, I can't imagine a world where I had to live in a world without her. Eben and I probably had the hardest time out of the guys, Eben more than me because that's his little sister. We still honor her on her birthday, and we still honor her on her death.
I haven't moved on, and I don't know if I ever will. I had permission from Eben and her family to date her, and... I knew she would be my last relationship. I have nightmares from it, just thinking about what could have happened to her. And they've become lucid nightmares which aren't fun.
Jonah has had to wake me up several times and just hold me due to how bad they get. I started going to a therapist about it. She says I need to start to move on, and that's how I will get over the nightmares. I've had to scream myself awake, so, so many times.
Today's been three years, and I posted something about her. It was a photo of Eben, myself, and Y/n. She's laughing from a joke that was just said, and I'm looking at her and just smiling and Eben is just laughing as well. I miss you, it's been three years and I'm still to used to seeing your face every day. I miss you so much, everyone does, and I just hope you're okay. I believe you're still out there, just when you're found... come back to me Y/n. I love you.
The comments are usually always sweet, the Limelights knew about her. Obviously she was someone who was huge in our life. They're always willing to go full Gen Z detective to try and find out where she is. A lot of fan pages are dedicated to trying to find her. Eben and I usually hang out with each other on this day. It makes the pain easier, a little bit.
Eben's post was a picture of them when they went to the Lake when they were younger, she was standing on his shoulders and her smile in it was absolutely amazing. Her wrote something very sweet, The saying 'time heals all wounds' it's not true, it's you get used to the pain. I lost you 3 years ago little sis, I lost my best friend 3 years ago. I hope you're still out there sis, and I'll be waiting with open arms once we find you.
Fans also like posting in remembrance of her, many believe she is dead. But Eben and I don't believe it, I believe she's still alive. I know she is, she has to be. Jonah is coming today also, says he wants to tell us something. " I have tickets to the Dodgers game, do you guys want to come? " He asks the minute he comes into Eben's room holding up four tickets in total. " I really don't want you guys to be here all night, so lets go do something! " He tell comments.
" Who's the other person? " Eben asks.
" Benny, " Jonah comments, we both nod towards him.
Maybe the game would be nice, it would help keep our heads clear. It's just been very hard, she disappeared and was never seen again.
The game was really good, it was a good way to get away and just try to have some fun. I was still thinking about her, but that's also cause there was a girl sitting a little ways down from us who looked exactly like her, or maybe I was thinking crazy. But it looked like her.
It was after where it got really bad, there was an announcement going around that there was a criminal in the stadium and everyone started freaking out. Because hello, there's a criminal in the stadium. We waited for news, because they didn't want us leaving but they wanted us out of the stadium, which a man commented 'at least the guy let us finish the game', which is a very weird thing to say, but I didn't question it.
" The police is being called, " a woman in her late 20s tell us, I guess she could tell we were confused.
" Why? " Benny asks.
" Debbie Lynn Ashford, the girl that got kidnapped a few weeks ago. She's in there, turns out the criminal has been kidnapping girls for years. Forces them to do unspeakable things, thankfully they might have caught them. Which means the girls will most likely be finally able to go home, " she tells us. " I'm hoping so, I've been keeping up with those kidnapping since they first started happening in 2018. There was this girl who was kidnapped here, her name was Y/n Franckewitz, I think that's how you pronounce it, and she definitely was kidnapped by these men, but the police station didn't say anything towards the family and I want to say boyfriend, but they didn't say she was kidnapped from this man because Marge Wenton the first girl who was kidnapped from him was from Texas, and they were kidnapped 4 days apart, I feel bad for the family, " she tells me.
" Oh my God, " Eben whispers.
" How much more do you know about this kidnapping? " I ask her.
" A lot, " she comments. " It's horrible what to be said to these girls, but from what it seems like is that they don't kill them, which is good... so hopefully they'll be able to locate all 15 girls, " she tells us.
We heard screams and immediately turned to see what was going on, and in that instant many girls started running away. With many men trying to grab them, what kind of sick game is this to them. A girl ran towards us and immediately hide behind Jonah, Benny instantly went into a dad mod and covered her from the men.
A girl was then tackled right in front of us, and she was already heavily beaten. But many jumped into action to get the man off of her. And she screamed out in pain, and the lady went and grabbed her moving her over to us. " Hand her over.. she's my property, " the man says, Eben and I instantly get in front of the girl as well.
" I'm not your property! You kidnapped me when I was 17! Leave me alone! " She screams, in tries to walk forward. I mean I know I've been working out, but this dude could pick me up easily. As he was about to grab me to pull me out of the way he started to shake and he fall, behind him stood a people officer who just tased him.
" Alec Ridley, you have the right to remain silent, any and everything you say can be used against you in a state of law, " the police officer says.
" Hey what's your name? " The lady asks.
" Bethany Christian, " she whispers.
" Bethany?! " The girl who was still hiding behind Benny ran forward and hugged her tightly.
" You're alright Elizabeth, I got you I got you, " she whispers.
" Y/n Franckewitz, is she apart of this group? " Eben asks Bethany, in hopes of hearing good news. She shakes her head slowly.
" I'm sorry no, the name sounds familiar but no, " she tells him, he puts his head down in defeat and I do the same.
The day was long, and all of us went back and rested. We were meeting at the studio tomorrow, and then afterwards we would celebrate Jonah's birthday. I wish she was apart of that group, I truly do. But I'm also happy that those girls get. to go back to their families.
I just miss her.
" Corbyn! " I turn around and she comes running in and jumping into my arms. I instantly caught her and she hugged me. " You seriously will not believe what has been happening recently, " she adds. I lean in and kiss her, and she's caught off guard but kisses me back.
I want her here with me, she's just I miss her.
We're now celebrating Jonah's birthday, it's fun getting to celebrate him. He's one of my best friends, he's a brother to me. " Toast! " Everyone begins to scream, Jonah just chuckles grabbing a drink.
" Thank you everybody for being here, I wouldn't have made it here without you guys. The ones who have been by my side and the ones who aren't no longer here. This life would be really different without you, " Jonah says, which causes all of us to smile.
It was like all at once when all of our phones started going off at once, many texts being like go to the news right now. And everything, so that's what Daniel did. We were shocked when we saw what was being displayed.
" Back with our breaking news story, 15 girls, 14 have been found. We've been following this story since Marge Wenton, a 19 year old girl at the time disappeared out of no where. Followed by many more girls over the next few years. Last night at the LA Dodgers, the first game with a full crowd, criminal Jesse Frighten was found there with many of his friends. Several videos came out of these friends and hisself trying to get girls. The girls who had been kidnapped since 2018, the youngest only 17. Debbie Lynn Ashford, has finally after 6 weeks has been reunited with her family. Marge Wenton after 3 years has finally been reunited with her family. One girl was not found, Y/n Franckewitz, YouTuber and singer, has yet to be found. She was kidnapped when she was 18 years old, her fans, her family, and her friends still believe she is alive, " the news reporter say we all hold our breaths as the other news reporter starts talking.
" There was a raid on Frighten and his crew's area where many girls belongings were found, including Franckewitz's phone, clothes she was wearing the day she went missing, and several other items. Police are now looking for Y/n, if you know where she is or have seen her please contact your local police, Y/n... if you're watching. You're coming home soon, " he finishes, we all supporting Eben and they're holding onto me but this is the first time the news has talked about Y/n.
On cue Eben got a call, and left the room. " It's hard for him, " I whisper.
" I mean... understandable, it's his little sister, same with you... she's the love of your life, if I was in that position I would be the same way, " Franny comments.
Eben walked in, in complete shock. And we all look at him. " Eben what's wrong? " Jonah asks.
" They... found her, " he whispers.
" Wait what? " I ask him walking towards him.
He looks at us with tears filling his eyes, " they found Y/n, " he says as he begins to break down. I instantly go up to him and we hug tightly.
Y/n's P.O.V.
Beep... beep... beep, that's all I heard when I first woke up. And a hand holding mine, I slowly opened my eyes to be greeted by Eben. " Eben? " I croak, he turns towards me and moves into me. And hugs me lightly.
" Oh God, I'm so glad you're alright, " he whispers to me. I nod towards him. The doctor came in and started talking to me about everything that was wrong, and a police officer came in and talked to me. They did ask Eben to step out due to the fact that we'll be talking about some serious stuff, that might be upsetting to Eben to hear.
It took hours, but I was soon released a few days later. And the first person I saw was Eben and my mom. There's a lot of news vans outside, and I just want to go home. " Eb, can you just get me out of here? " I ask him.
" Yeah of course sis, " he tells me, we escape quickly from the vans and into the car. Mom went back to the house to get the room set up for me, while Eben and I headed to the Seavey house. The boys don't know I'm being released today.
" You know Corbyn is going to be the first one to hug you, " Eben jokes, I nod towards him lightly laughing.
" I love you, " I tell him, he turns back to me in complete shock. " And I know it's crazy for me to say that, and I know I might be stepping over every line in the book. But I love you Corbyn Besson, and I've been in love with you, " I add. He stood there in complete shock, and I started regretting it.
He walks forward to me and kisses me, and he pulls me closer to him. " I love you too, " he whispers to me. Which causes me to smile at him. " I love you, " he whispers to me again.
We arrived at the house, and Eben was the one to walk in first. " How's she doing? " Christian asks.
" Pretty good, " I tell him.
" OH MY GOD! " Corbyn screams, he runs up to me and hugs me. " I missed you, " he whispers.
" I missed you too, " I whisper to him.
" Okay, don't hog her, " Jack says as he begins to walk forward.
I explained pretty much everything to them. " Where you with those girls? " Jonah asks me, I give him a nod.
" I was, I escaped my main goal was trying to find a way to get them out. I spent the last 6 months trying to find help. Trying to, save them. Of course I had been beaten and starved and dehydrated for years so it wasn't the healthiest. But I had made it to LA in 6 months, I was in Michigan. But when I got here I was in downtown and just collapsed, but I still had my ID on me that's why they could identify me, " I tell them, they all look at me and listen as I tell the stories of horror as the last 3 years.
I had to go to therapy for years on end, and I eventually was okay. But I was never the same after that, Corbyn was by my side the whole time. And I'm glad I got him in my life, and I'm just glad to be back in my life.
