After Present Mic explained the rules for the exam, they went to there areas. Luckily, the three of them were assigned in the same area which is Battle Center B.
'They even have equipment to go for their quirks.' Izuku thought to himself looking at his competition until he saw the girl he met at the school gates.
'So she was assigned in the same battle center, huh? Oh yeah I should thank her from earlier.' He then starts approaching her until someone grabbed his shoulder. He looks to see that it was 'pretty boy'.
'He's here too?' He thought annoyed.
"That girl appears to be trying to focus. What are you doing here?" He said. "Are you taking the entrance exam to interfere with everyone else?" He added. Izuku looks annoyed and had enough of his nagging.
Izuku pointed the sword at him and gave a threatening look. "How about you mind your own business, pretty boy?" He said sounding annoyed and 'pretty boy' let go of him.
The others started talking about Izuku.
"Man, that guy looks dangerous." One examinee said.
"I like how he called that guy 'pretty boy'. Man, it was hilarious." The other examinee laughs at it.
"But still, that guy looks strong and scary at the same time." Another examinee shivered.
Now back to Izuku. He walked towards the girl "Hey, I wanna say thank you about saving me back at the school gates." Izuku said scratching the back of his neck.
"Oh, It was nothing." The girl smiled.
They started to talk to each other. Togaru and Kyoka are looking at them talking and laughing.
"Jealous, tomboy?" Togaru smirks "What are you talking about, Mantis?" Kyoka smirks back.
"I hate you." Togaru said annoyed. "You started it." Kyoka spits back.
"READY! GO!" Izuku starts to run leaving the others behind.
"Hey, he's cheating!" Pretty boy screamed.
"There are no countdowns in real life!" Present Mic stated.
The others followed and ran. Togaru and Kyoka decided to stay together to fight and find their captain at the same time. Kyoka used her earphone jacks to track Izuku and luckily she found where he is and Togaru followed her.
Meanwhile
"We got an outstanding batch this year." A talking mouse said sipping his tea.
"I'm also impressed. I like that green-haired kid." A guy who looks on crack said.
"What quirk does he have, Eraserhead?" The mouse asked. Eraserhead looks at the folder and can't believe what he read. "He's... quirkless..." Making the people inside the room in shock. "Are you sure, Eraser?" All Might asked and Eraserhead nodded.
"How many points does he have now?" The mouse asked. "105 sir and counting." One of the staff said making the room in shock again.
"Alright, release it." Someone pressed the button and the arena began to shake.
Back to the battle center B
'Damn, I think this is enough to make me pass this test.' He thought until he felt an earthquake. 'What is going on?' He looked up to see a giant robot. 'I got to run. Present Mic said to avoid that.' He started to run behind the crowd until he heard a scream for help.
"That's-" "Captain!" Izuku got cut off when he heard his teammates running towards him.
"Where were you?" Kyoka asked him but he ran towards the zero-pointer ignoring Kyoka's question. 'Damn, I got to help her.' He stops and grabs his mobirate to the left and the Ranger Key and unlocking it to the right. He body swings, pointing the Ranger Key forward while laying the Mobirate on top of the other side of his elbow and yelled the activation key.
"GOKAI CHANGE!" swings his again and inserts the key into the keyhole and turns it making the Mobirate look like an X. His transformation began making him look like a pirate but in a ranger form.
He has a whole black skin suit with the symbol of their Jolly Roger inside, a red jacket with gold design and linings, white gloves, red boots, a golden belt for his keys and a red helmet. (Like this one)
"Gokai Red." He said posing before running to help the girl.
He started shooting at the robot but no effect. 'I need to save her somehow' He starts to think and by a second he got an idea. He inserts two Ranger Keys to his sword and gun.
"FINAL WAVE!" It made a sound and his weapons started to glow bright. He shoots first following a slash giving more impact to the attack. The attack went through the zero-pointer making it blow up. He saved the girl just in time and put her down nicely.
"You okay?" He asked and she nodded.
The examinees watched the whole thing and was amazed.
"That guy is amazing."
"He got a nice suit too."
"Is that his quirk?"
"Awesome."
The people started complimenting and talking about Izuku.
Togaru and Kyoka approached Izuku "You were amazing out there. How did you do that?" Kyoka said still amazed by her Captain's actions. "Trying to show off huh, Captain?" Togaru smirked. "W-Well actually, it was my first time doing that." The two looked confused and did not understand.
"*Sigh* I'll explain when we walk home. Anyways, I hope you're okay... Uhm..." Izuku said trying to figure out the girl's name. "Ochako Uraraka." She said smiling at him. "Ah, Uraraka-san then. Well, I'll see you soon, I guess." He said after walking with his teammates.
Faculty
"That kid's quirkless... but did some sort of transformation. Was he really quirkless or was he faking it?" Eraserhead trying to find out what was going on.
"THAT YOUNG LISTENER'S FIREPOWER WAS SO COOL! OH YEAH!" Present Mic screamed.
"Indeed but how did he manage to do such a thing? What do you think, Nezu?" A tall sexy woman with sky blue eyes asking the principal of the school.
"We'll just find out when the time comes. For now, Dismissed." Nezu stated.
Back to the trio
"So let me get this straight, you just inserted two Ranger Keys in a keyhole of the weapon, starts glowing, screaming 'Final Wave' and then you attack?" Togaru trying to understand the 'Final Wave' attack from his captain. "Well, that's what happened so yeah." Izuku replied. "Damn, I can't wait to transform like you, Izuku." Kyoka said jumping around.
"First name basis huh?" Togaru teased receiving a punch from a blushing Kyoka.
"THERE'S NO PROBLEM CALLING SOMEONE IN THEIR FIRST NAME, MANTIS!" Kyoka yelled at Togaru. "Someday, I'll kill you..." Togaru said lying down on the concrete floor with a bump on his head.
They arrived at the Galleon but the power won't turn on. They realized that it was broken and tried to fix it. "Damn, what are we gonna do now?" Izuku was frustrated. "How did it get broken in the first place?" Togaru asked Navi. "Beats me." Navi spoke.
"Anyways, we need to find someone to fix the ship asap." Kyoka suggested. "The results for the exam will be 1 week so we have time." Izuku stated. "Kyoka, go find someone who knows how to fix the ship tomorrow. It's dark now and let's sleep here for tonight." Izuku said and the two nodded.
Next Day
With Jirou, she's been searching for a mechanic or someone who can fix the ship to ask for help. She arrived at an old looking shack and tried her luck to ask someone for help. She knocked on the door and a guy with a labcoat opened it.
He has short gold hair with a black lightning-shaped streak on the left of his fringe and has yellow eyes. They looked for a minute until the guy coughed.
"May I help you?" He asked gently.
"Uhmm... May I ask a favor?" Kyoka fidgeting her fingers.
"Sure, please come in." She took the offer and went inside of his shack. He sat down on his chair doing his work
"Can you repair my ship?-" She asked innocently. The guy faced her cutting her off. "Well, of course. I could fit you in after my current job is done." He went back to his work but was stopped when Kyoka turned the chair to face him. "Could you do it right now? I'm in a hurry." Kyoka being cute.
"Well, it wouldn't be easy..." He said "But okay, I'll get right to work." He said with confidence and smile at her. He then saw the wanted poster on his wall and look at the girl again. He did this many times until he realized he was talking to a space pirate.
"Y-You're a space pirate!" He tried to run away but tripped when his pants were stuck on something making them fall down, exposing his boxers making Jirou slightly blush and shocked. The guy continued to run away leaving Kyoka behind.
"Great, he figured it out..." She said annoyed and went back to the ship.
"Any luck?" Togaru asked and Kyoka said no making Togaru lose hope.
Timeskip Night
"I'm running out of ideas." Izuku sat down leaning at the control table. "Hm, this could be a tough one." Navi said.
Izuku felt someone at the window and pointed his gun out making the person surprise.
"Don't shoot, Please don't shoot!" The guy said slipping out the rope he was holding and trying to climb back up. Kyoka noticed him and walk towards the window.
"You-" She was cut off by him "C-Can you show me where it's broken? I'll take a look." He said trying to help them.
Kyoka dragged him inside the ship "Why, though? You were wussing out hard before." She said. "I... make sure I always finish any job I accept." He said looking down and to her and down again.
"I like to follow through on my guarantees... and Zangyack threatened and attacked me and my family too but... what's with this room?!" He said looking at the room. It was filled with garbage bags and hanging clothes. It was a messy room.
"What do you mean? These are our living quarters." Togaru answered and Navi agreed.
"Unbelievable! How can you leave in a place like this?!" He said started putting beside the trash and grabbing their clothes very fast. The crew looked at him wherever he goes. "Sort your trash properly!" He said separating cans and bottles. "The room's square, not circular. Clean the corners!" He said sweeping the floor. Now he's cleaning the dining table and preparing the food quickly "And you need to eat a more balanced diet!" The crew walk towards the table and looked at the delicious food. "That's more like it." The guy setting the remaining food.
The trio sat down and took a bite on his food. "THIS IS GOOD!" They said enjoying the food. "Well, of course it is." He said until he realized "WAIT, NO! I'M SUPPOSED TO FIX THE SHIP!" He ran towards the control table.
He then looked and trying to fix the ship but asked the crew "Is this the only part that's broken?" "What's with the attitude? It's practically the ship's brain." Kyoka answered while Navi agreeing again. "Alright, alright. You just need to do this." He pressed a button making the ship work again. "YOU FIXED IT!" They look very surprised that the ship is working well.
"You're amazing." Togaru playfully punched him in the shoulder.
"And with just the push of a button! that's crazy! Godlike, even!" Kyoka did what Togaru also and patted his shoulder.
"It really wasn't that hard..." He said and looked at Izuku. "Nice work." He said "You oughta join our crew." He added. The guy was confused on what's going on.
"We're on a hunt for the greatest treasure in the universe and you're gonna join us." He said making the guy look around.
"You got a name?" Kyoka asked.
"It's Don Dog-" he was cut off when Izuku shoved the chicken on his mouth. "You're Doc." Izuku said.
"HUH?!?!" The guy was confused. "You're always operating, so you get to be Doc." Izuku explained. "I LIKE IT! Welcome to the party, Doc." Kyoka welcomed him. "Good luck, Doc." Togaru gave a thumbs up and crossed his arms. "DOC, DOC!" Navi repeating the nickname.
"EHHH?!?!?" Doc can't believe what happened to him.
"Well, let me finish at least. Anyways, my name is Don Dogoier but my real name is Denki Kaminari, I will be going to UA in order to become a hero and my quirk is electrification." He finished his introduction to the crew.
"Man, I lot of us are going to UA, huh?" Izuku said making Kaminari confused. "We're going to UA too, Kaminari." Togaru said and Kaminari understood.
"I'm Izuku Midoriya or Captain Marvelous, nice to meet you." Izuku smiled.
"Togaru Kamakiri or Joe Gibken." Togaru introducing himself.
"Hello, my name is Kyoka Jirou or Luka Millfy." She said with confidence .
"Luka... Millfy?" Denki asked tilting his head in confusion making the two boys laugh. "Stop laughing, bakero! And why does everyone ask that stupid question?!" She ranted. "Well, Marvelous was a pirate and part of the Akaki Kaizokudan while Joe Gibken was from Zangyack." Denki said with a straight face making Jirou shocked with her mouth open.
"So some people know us huh?" Togaru smirked. "I guess some." Izuku smiled. Meanwhile, Kyoka was about to explode until Denki said this.
"Well atleast, it suits you very well and... uhm... it sounds cute, too." Kaminari said with a tint of red and smiled at her. Kyoka started to look very red.
"Flattered tomboy." He laughs.
"WHO'S FLATTERED, INSECT?" Kyoka yelled at Togaru making him ticked off and yelled back. "OF COURSE YOU, WHO ELSE!"
