"Momma! Mommaaaa!" Alexias's voice called out.

"In here." Athena replied from her study.

As usual she had her nose buried in books. Maps with miniature troops littered her desk where books didn't occupy it.

Alexia appeared in the doorway pulling her second mommy along by the hand. If Athena had actually looked up she would've seen both of them with mischievous smiles on their faces.

Nike gave a wink to Alexia. They'd been planning on this since Athena left for her study soon after dinner. The angel gave a nod. The sign they could start their secret operation.

Alexia ducked underneath her mother's desk unnoticed. The victory goddess snuck up behind her girlfriend and wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

"Hi." She whispered in her ear.

"Hi." The wisdom goddess replied absent-minded.

She seemed so far away she didn't even notice Alexia crawling onto her lap. When she properly sat the little girl smiled at Nike, who gave her a nod.

Alexia gently took the book from her Athena's hands and put it on the desk behind them. Her smile radiating with happiness and mischief.

"Well what do you know." Athena muttered.

She kissed the little girl's forehead.

"You could ju-" The goddess started.

"Don't even finish that." Nike cut her off.

"If we 'just asked' you'll stay here. We need to pry you from this desk if we want your attention." The angel chuckled.

"Well then, in that case, go ahead." The daughter of Zeus laughed.

Alexia got up from Athena's lap, pulling her out of her chair and into the living room. Nike trailed a little behind, wanting to take in every moment. She thought it was adorable how excited Alexia was.

When the little girl pulled the wisdom goddess into the living room the latter was surprised to say the least. Both her girlfriend and daughter had set up and entire parcours around the living room. And from the looks of it their entire wing of the temple.

"What on earth did you two do?" Athena asked, looking at the devious smirks on her family's faces.

"Redecorated." Nike replied.

"Oh really?" The grey eyed goddess said, voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Will you do it with me?" Alexia asked.

Athena seemed to ponder for a second, but the angel knew very well it was all a façade. In truth the wisdom goddess was just as excited as their daughter was.

The daughter of Zeus might've never been a child, but Alexia seemed to awaken a playful side in the goddess. As if she were trying to show her mother what she missed out on.

"Of course." Athena smiled.

"Tell me the rules."

"Well you start on the couch. Then jump to the coffee table. Onto the next couch. Over the table, take the chairs and use them to get across to the kitchen. There over the next table and use the kitchen chairs to get to the hall then over all the bases of the columns all the way to my room. Hop onto my bed, then over the chair there, back out, into you and mommy's room onto the nightstand and your bed is the finish line. All without touching the ground." Alexia explained.

"Alright, I see..." The wisdom goddess said, revising the track in her head.

"Does mommy play?" She added.

Alexia turned to Nike asking a silent question. The angel nodded with a smile.

"In that case she can't cheat." The wisdom goddess smirked.

"How would I cheat?" The victory goddess asked with the same smirk.

"Mommy you have wings. You can't use them to keep you of the ground." Alexia stated the obvious.

"Mhm fine." The angel faked her disappointment.

With a snap of her fingers her wings disappeared. She already knew that if she didn't do it this way she'd end up using them anyway.

"Alright, let's get started shall we? After you darling." Athena said.

Alexia climbed into the couch and walked first. Athena right behind her and Nike last. As the family jumped from object to object their laughter could be heard throughout the entire temple.

As Nike was about to step on a chair she lost her balance. At first she didn't really realise. She'd just-

Wait... She had no wings. This might become a bruise.

All of that crossed her mind in a split second. Lucky for the victory goddess her girlfriend had an excellent timing. Soon enough a hand reached out and caught her wrist.

"You good?" Athena asked pulling her back up.

The angel nodded a bit dazed.

"Mommy the chair!" Alexia urged.

"Yes yes, let me get of first will you!" Nike replied.

She hopped onto the next chair and passed the chair to the wisdom goddess who ended up giving it to Alexia. The girl placed the chair in front of the one she was standing on so all of them could move up a chair.

"We're almost in the hallway." Athena said.

"Just a couple more. I'd say about three left."

Soon enough they were jumping from column to column. A couple of servants passed through to do their chores. They were glad to see the family so happy, but most of all they were utterly confused as to what they were doing.

"Now what?" Athena asked as Alexia reached the last column.

As far as she could she there was nothing to jump onto.

"You have to pick me up and let me swing across on the chandelier." Alexia replied as if this was something that happened everyday.

"I'm going to have to what?!"

The wisdom goddess was baffled. She looked behind her to her girlfriend for confirmation and perhaps her opinion on the matter.

Nike just shrugged. She was aware this point was coming. She had set it up that way. This was the key point they needed Athena for. It was the only gap they couldn't clear without her.

"And how exactly would you do this?" The daughter of Zeus questioned, realising her lover wouldn't be answering.

"Swing across, through the door and then land on my bed. It's big enough and it's just straight ahead. Mommy checked and it's fine. Nothing can go wrong." The little girl beamed.

'Oh there are so many things that can go wrong.' Athena thought as each of those things flashed through her head.

She thought about it for a second. There was a way this could be a bit more safe.

"Angel you still got those wings lying around?" The wisdom goddess asked.

"Urm.. Yes." Nike replied a little skeptical.

"Good. Put them to use and actually make sure Alexia doesn't fall. We can't have her losing this game now can we?" Athena smiled.

'Or break multiple bones by falling off of a chandelier.'

When the angel was in place Athena picked up her daughter and let her hang from the chandelier. Later the wisdom goddess realised this was perhaps one of the few moments in her life she was paralised with fear. All she could do was watch and hope as Alexia swung the chandelier and launched herself into her room.

(Don't try this at home! Even if you have an angel to catch you I'd advise you not to do this! - Athena_9909)

Thank the fates nothing went wrong. The goddess could breath and move again. After a fancy chandelier move of herself she landed next to Alexia.

"Remind me to teach her some moves before we do this again." Athena said to Nike.

The angel chuckled.

After finishing up the parcours they ended up in bed. All three of them layed there for a second revising how they did. All Alexia could talk about was the chandelier and how it had been the coolest thing she'd ever done.

"Again?" She asked from Nike's lap.

Okay so that last part kind of escalated quicker than I thought it would. Disclaimer Athena and Nike aren't bad parents or anything it's just my mind going completely into the thing and forgetting to keep it kind of realistic I guess. So I promise they care for their kid and wouldn't let them do anything they knew wasn't safe. So yeah that. Anyway thanks so much for 900 reads and I'll see you in the next!
