*....Some sort of prequel to the To Remind You chapter in the 1st book.
Sougo lazily sighs as he scratched his head, his eyes unconsciously trailing to the woman who was humming happily and was watering the indoor plants she had inside their home.
He gently laid his head on his arms which he rested on the table— Kondo had forced him to take a day off to focus on his so called new married life.
Sougo's eyes narrowed at her figure as he scowled, but it was not that useful because— "I don't feel even an ounce of love for her." He mumbled lowly to himself in a monotone voice, cold and emotionless.
"Ah, Okita-san— What do you want for breakfast?" Her soft, mellow voice rings in his hear but he couldn't help but feel irritated.
When they first met, she was so against the idea of them suddenly getting married. Why was she so calm about it now?
"—Anything." He answered shortly, earning a small hum from her as a reply.
He didn't even know what this woman's life was like before she met him— how could he spend the rest of his life with her? Sougo furrowed his eyebrows, and at that moment he made a small thought deep in his heart.
'—I'll never learn how to love this woman.'

"Your umbrella," (Y/N) stated in a soft tone when Sougo was putting on his coat. He turned to her with that nonchalant and emotionless look on his face as he wordlessly takes it from her hands.
"..Thanks," Sougo didn't even take a second glance at her before he went out of the house. It had just been a few days after all after the scheme of a marriage Matsudaira put them up to.
For a few days, Sougo tried to assassinate Matsudaira for what he did— but after being threatened to be fired he gave up.
Plus, Matsudaira gave Sougo a special bonus— stating that if he ever succeeded in assassinating Hijikata, Matsuaira offered to cover up the crime for him.
(Y/N) had surprisingly put up with Sougo and his— cold facade. However, Sougo wasn't dealing with it well. He may act cold and uncaring, but that was who Sougo was.
Hijikata glanced at Sougo who was entering through the gates and he arched an eyebrow. Sougo seem a bit more irritated than he usually was.
"......(Y/N)-san is a nice woman." Hijikata suddenly stated, making Sougo turn to hin and scowl.
"I don't recall asking you something, Hijikata-san." Sougo comments, "You should refrain from speaking too much. When I hear your voice I get the sudden urge to kill you more."
"...Fine. I was talking to myself!!" Hijikata said with his eyebrow twitching and a vein almost popping out from his forehead— Sougo knew how to irritate the man even when he wasn't feeling it.
"I'm just saying," Hijikata sighs as he closes his eyes and brings his cigarette to his lips. "(Y/N)-san's doing her best to become a good wife— It wouldn't hurt for you to try and be a good husband to her."
".......Hijikata-san has gone crazy— He started talking to himself now." Sougo got up and ran away without even responding to Hijikata's small lecture.
Of all things, Sougo least wanted to be lectured by the man who made his beloved elder sister miserable. What did Hijikata know about love? All the women he loves in his life dies.
".....That's stupid. Up until recently she was against our marriage too."
He looked down with a frown on his lips and his eyebrows furrowed on an angry manner.

".....Working late?"
Sougo looks up from the piles and piles of paperwork on his table. He sees (Y/N) enter holding a big vase of flowers, and sets it down on the living room.
"Paperworks," Sougo mumbled lowly as she nodded and stood up— making a bee line to their room. Sougo shook his head a little and tried to ignore her again, even the slightest conversation with her messed up his mind though he didn't know why.
Minutes later, she came back with a blanket and a cup of coffee in her hands. "I'm gonna fix up the flowers tonight too,"
She sent him a small, friendly smile before assuming her spot on the floor and started to quietly trim the flowers.
While she was working, Sougo went back to his paperworks too— but every now and then he found his eyes wandering over to glance at her figure.
A gentle smile playing on her ruby lips, her (E/C) eyes lighting up with a soft glow and her ever so delicate hands gently trimming the flowers with great care.
Sougo suddenly found himself— changing his impression of her. She was a nice woman— as much as he hated to admit it, Hijikata was right.
'Stop.' Sougo shook his head and furrowed his eyebrows, he looked back down on the papers and started focusing on it.
'Don't fall in love with her. Stop it, don't think of her.' He repeated in his mind like a chant, hoping it would have some kind of effect.
A few more hours later, and Sougo looked up to find the woman's head slumped against the table.
Sougo sighs as he glanced at the blanket she took out for him and he stood up and strode over to her.
Crouching down, he was eye-level with her. Gently, he draped the blanket across her shoulders. He admired the peaceful expression on her face for a little while.
Though a smile was unknowingly forming on his lips.
"Stubborn woman," He muttered as he smirked at her. "—You didn't have to stay up with me."

Sougo walked out of the shinsengumi compound with a bored look. Hijikata was on a patrol with Yamazaki and Kondo was stalking Otae— in short, he didn't have anyone to make fun of.
As he stepped out, (Y/N)'s shop came into view.
He arched an eyebrow, usually when he was at work he never had the chance to go out and check out what she was doing though her shop was right next door to the Shinsengumi.
He sees (Y/N) step out of the shop, with a water can in her hands she made her way to her flowers.
"......She really has no sense of danger, a lone woman running a shop all by herself." Sougo had a dubious look on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest and watched her.
—Sougo leaned against the wall of the shinsengumi with his hands tucked in his pockets. A look of amusement falling on his face.
Over the last months of them living together, Sougo realized bit by bit that he had gotten used to her. All the expressions and antics she had, her cute little habits that she probably didn't even notice.
(Y/N) was humming happily and softly as she watered her flowers— her eyes holding gentle love in them as she did so.
For a while, Sougo did nothing but bask in the beauty of her smile. The sun was shining brightly over her figure, her dazzling smile, bright (E/C) eyes— she looked almost ethereal.
Sougo blinked and snapped out of his trance, realizing that he had been spacing out while gazing at her made him blush.
He held his hand up to his chin, pretending to think but was actually trying to cover his reddened cheeks.
".....damn it,"

"Just go home," Hijikata groaned as he watched Sougo stumble out of the room where they had their meeting in.
"Don't be so stubborn, I'm sure (Y/N) will take care of you."
"Shut up and die, Hijikata-san."
"Get well soon, Sougo!" Kondo shouts after him.
"Thank you, Kondo-san."
"What?! No thank you for me but if it's Kondo-san—!!"
Sougo swayed left and right as he tried to go back home. All day he had been down with a fever, but his stubborness seemed to be a bigger illness.
He refused to go home or even take medicine. But after Kondo scolded him a bit more he finally listened and went home.
After entering the house which seemed empty and dark— the absence of her presence made Sougo frown a bit. Somewhere deep in his heart, he was actually hoping she would welcome him home.
".....Who cares," He scoffs and makes a bee-line for the room. Throwing his coat and sword on the floor, he messily lays out his futon.
As he laid there, he slightly opened his eyes. Lifting an arm to hold over his forehead he sighs deeply.
'....She doesn't need to know I'm sick. This is better,'
He closed his eyes softly— but what was really in his mind was that he wanted someone there with him. He wanted her,
Then, he slept. Burning with fever, no medicine— and without a care in the world.
'What time is it.......' Sougo lets out a low groan as he sits up. But the second he did so, he feels something fall from his forehead— and more so, a presence by his side.
His eyes widened ever so softly when he sees (Y/N) staring at him wide-eyed.
"H-How....are you feeling?" Flusteredly, she moved back a bit since they were so close— she didn't expect him to wake up all of a sudden.
"....fine." Sougo monotonely stated as he looked away.
"You should've told me you were sick," She sighs softly with a worried look. "I made you porridge, after you eat it you have to take your medicine." She stated in a stern voice while Sougo furrowes his eyebrows.
"You don't have to take care of me." He spoke in an indifferent tone making her eyebrows crease.
".......There may be no love between us but," (Y/N) paused and grabbed his hand. Wrapping her warm, soft hands around his hand and bringing it to her lips.
"—I'm still your wife. Who will take care of you when you're sick?" She lectured him with a serious look on her face that told him no matter what he said she wouldn't listen to any of it.
"I can—"
"Just listen to me," She cut him off immediately, "I know it's not like that between us, but I can't just leave you alone when you're sick like this."
She smiles when Sougo shuts his mouth— a seemingly defeated expression appearing on his face. She let go of his hand and placed her hand on his hair,
"Let me be by your side even just this once, alright?"
Her words made him go silent— words he was never used to hearing. Words he never expected to hear—
Along with that, his heart started beating uncontrollably. A weird, strange feeling was disturbing his heart and he didn't kmow why.
He had an idea— but he absolutely refused to acknowledge it.
The thought of him— falling in love.

"....Do I really have to come?" Sougo grumbled as he trudged behind (Y/N). She had to go grocery shopping, when she was on her way out she had invited him.
"I just asked," She shrugs and continued picking out some fruits while he just stood behind her. "What do you think about this?" She grins, an innocent smile and a calm gaze in her eyes as she turns to him.
"...It's alright," He shrugs back as she chuckles lowly. "Oh, right! What do you want for dinner?" She asked again and he just shrugged once more.
The feeling was unnatural for him— but it felt oddly comfortable. He didn't notice it but bit by bit, he secretly loved the time and attention he got from her.
Sougo wandered off for a bit when he went to get some tabasco sauce to put in Hijikata's mayonnaise the next day— when he returned he saw a bit of a commotion.
"Look at where you're going!!" A man was holding his wife by the collar, and shouting at her.
"W-What? I was just standing there! You were the one who bumped into me—" (Y/N) cut herself off when the man tightened his hold on her collar.
"What do you think you're doing to my wife?"
The man flinched when he felt a cold, sharp metal touch his neck. Sougo had the deadliest glare his red eyes could put on and the crease in his eyebrows illustrated the quiet rage.
"S-She started it!" The man let go of (Y/N)'s collar and ran away before Sougo could push his blade deeper on the man's neck.
"Are you alright?" Sougo asked her while (Y/N) was blinking her eyes as if to recover from the shock.
"Y-Yeah. I'm fine," (Y/N) laughed awkwardly as she touched her neck. "Let's go home..."
Sougo clenched his fist quietly as he followed after her— the path back home as quiet as it can be. But though it was, Sougo's mind was just full of one thing.
'I want to protect her.'

The night breeze passes by making Sougo slightly shiver. He looked around the dark and empty living room— Work took a bit more time so he came home late.
'If there's a breeze then the hallways must be open...Did she forget to close it?' Sougo thinks, arching an eyebrow up as he makes his way to the hallway of the house leading to the backyard.
Sougo paused when he saw her sitting on the edge of the hallway.
(Y/N) had her head tilted up, but her eyes closed. A small smile on her lips as she basked under the gentle moon's beaming light that graciously shone over her figure.
In that moment, Sougo could feel his breath hitch in his throat. He didn't know why but his heart started to pound, his chest started hurting and he was— feeling something.
Sougo didn't know why, but she looked so beautiful that he couldn't look away.
Softly, (Y/N) raised her hands up and connected her hands. "—He may not feel the same as I do right now because we got married all of a sudden but....." She softly whispered,
"I'm just grateful....That I fell in love him."
Sougo furrowed his eyebrows, confused by what she said— that he accidentally overheard. What did that mean?
He covered his mouth so as to not make any noise, as he tried to figure out what it meant.
'She's married to me.....so does that mean that she l—'
"S-Sougo!?"
Sougo gulped lightly when he came face to face with (Y/N). He didn't expect her to suddenly get up when he was hiding and watching her from the side.
"....Hey,"
(Y/N)'s ears were red, and she seemed anxious. "D-Did you just get home? Hahaaa....Did you....hear anything?" She fiddled with her fingers while Sougo smiled knowingly.
"I did," He admitted making her flinch— but before she could say anything, Sougo stepped forward and placed his hand under her chin.
"—and I have the perfect response to that." He states confidently as he closes his eyes and places his lips on hers.
When he parted, he smirked at her embarrassed and struck expression. "I'm grateful that I fell in love with you too~" He spoke in a teasing tone as he stuck his tongue out at her.
"W-Wait!!" (Y/N) calls out to him, "W-What was that for??...."
"That?" Sougo looked up for a while before he smiled and met her curious (E/C) eyes.
''That was To remind you— that you're gonna be stuck spending the rest of your life with me."
(BONUS: ...not really a fun bonus??)
"W-Wait, is that for real?" She asked him, Sougo turns to her with a sigh.
"It is."
"....Not a prank?"
"No."
"....100% the truth?"
"1000%."
"I....I just don't....understand?"
Sougo raised an eyebrow and looked at her as she pressed a hand to her forehead— trying to process it.
"What's there to understand?" He sighs irritatedly, "I love you, you love me. Isn't that all?"
"Yeah but......How???"
"What do you mean how?" Sougo's face contorted to one of great confusion. While (Y/N)'s hands flew around as if she was trying to explain something.
"I-I mean—" (Y/N) paused and glanced at him, "You were so cold— you never seemed to pay attention to me or stuff like that..."
Sougo softly exhales through his nose as he looked away, he knew he had to be honest with her, "—At first, I didn't want to fall in love."
".....Why?"
He inhaled sharply and looked her straight in the eyes, "I was scared—That if I loved you, you would leave me too."
The death of Sougo's sister— The only one he truly loved in this cruel world was too much for him to bear— even then, the scars he had hadn't healed yet.
Because of that— Sougo became afraid. If he truly loved someone, would they just suddenly die too? Would they leave him in the most miserable, painful way possible like his sister did?
"What? No!!" (Y/N) strongly stated as she looked at him with determination, "It's like you said...." She blushed and looked away.
"I'm stuck spending the rest of my life with you— so I'll never leave you!"
Sougo's eyes widened at her words, before he smiled— maybe it was okay to fall in love. Maybe, it was time for his scars to heal.
After all— what's there to do once you've fallen in love?
"That's right," Sougo grabbed her hand and intertwined it with his.
"—and I'll always be here to remind you that,"

A: Okay, so first off— I'm a very laid-back person, I don't really have any specific interests— I wont do anything unless it's absolutely necessary. Recently I've been trying to watch Jujutsu Kaisen because I saw this Gojo Satoru guy who is absolutely handsome— But I held it off for now. I'm kind of in the Fate Series right now. King Gilgamesh is currently reigning in my heart~

As for manga, hm...I do read some in my spare time. But, currently I'm hooked on Manhwas, such as "When The Villainess Loves", "The Way To Protect The Female Lead's Older Brother", "Who Made Me A Princess", "Remarried Empress"—and such, I read a loooot!
For music....I don't listen to a lot of music, but if I should— I have been hooked recently on 2NE1 and BIGBANG's songs, old I know but the songs are really good!

As for stories about me watching Gintama....Hm, there's a lot. But if I had to choose I would choose the Courtesan of A Nation Arc and the Farewell Shinsengumi Arc. The Afro arc too.
When I first watched Courtesan of a Nation arc I fell in love with Gintoki's character even more. They were able to display his great feats and strengths so perfectly and a little bit of his past— and let's not forget the man's very strong teeth (I mean, biting a sword to pieces? Come on!) Plus, Oboro's appearance. I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw Oboro I was like "He has got to be Gintoki's brother!" But turns out he wasnt so....
As for the Farewell Shinsengumi arc— it was truly just a masterpiece. The parallels of Hijikata and Gintoki gave a deeper depth and insight to why they consider each other rivals of some sort. It truly was just amazing, especially when Utsuro just joined the mixed all of a sudden— (Im sorry if there are readers who havent reached this arc yet)
As for the Afro arc— Gosh, Katsura and Shimaru are both precious and deserve more screentime. It may be hilarious but the end of the Afro arc wad a bit touching— On Katsura and Shimaru's ending that is.
—point is, Gintama is a masterpiece!!!

As for feelings about a few characters: My absolute favorite would be Sakamoto, Gintoki and Kamui!
Sakamoto— the man isn't given enough screentime, though he is an idiot he is a precious man! I love him so much and I wish we could see more of him!!
Gintoki— do I need to say anything? I love the man so much, when I first watched Gintama waaaay back then I had eyes for Gintoki only. This was mostly because when J watched Gintama all the other arcs hadn't been animated yet so I stopped for a few years and quarantine made me rewatch everything. Then, I fell right back in love with Gintoki. He's an amazing character with so many relatable traits that make him sooo different from others it's hard to find a character like him!!
Kamui— come on, this man dethroned Gintoki from being my number 1 man. Kamui may have started out as a villain, but he's still the best big brother in the whole universe. I find him very interesting because, I mean sure I'm a sucker for a pretty face, but other than that Kamui is just really the whole package!

A: So, first of all— I have been writing for a looooot of years. I never just publish my works. Since Bisha-chan is a fickle woman, when I watch an anime– fall for a character– imagine scenarios with that character— I end up writing a fic for them.
This happened a few too many times with other different animes— and I shouldnt be saying this but I have probably about 10+ different books about random characters I write scenarios of. The difference is, I never really publish it because of the lack of self confidence
You know Bisha-chan always apologizes on every chapter right? Because I think my work is absolute shit and I wonder why you guys like it so much.
So, when quarantine started I rewatched Gintama— fell in love the characters— and started writing a few fics about them. To add fuel to the fire, I started searching for Gintama fics (I was disappointed since there aren't really many out here) and then while I was writing up a fic I wrote— I somehow accidentally published it without knowing?? My wattpad was malfunctioning then and I think it published the book by accident when J was writing and editing it for my own reading. That's why if you see the first ever chapter of my book was a Sougo one 🤣 It's the worse one I've written tho.
Then I went "Ah, it already published. Let's just continue it...."
As for what inspires me to continue it is mainly the readers!
I would probably have stopped and dropped this book if nobody had ever requested to me. The first request I got I almost cried— and then all of a sudden I was bombarded with requests! It is really hard to keep up with an update pace, I even wonder sometimes what possessed me to make me update everyday in the previous book— but currently I'm busy with different affairs.
I cant devote my time to the book and update everyday as I did before. Dropping this book and going on a hiatus has crossed my mind soooo many times. But every time it does, I also think back to when I was just a quiet reader who loved reading. It made me think of how I felt when the author suddenly announced a hiatus, dropped the book and never continued it. I didnt want to make you guys feel that way so I just persevered and did my best to continue this!
Besides, I started this book— I wanted to see it to the end. I would never be okay with suddenly leaving you guys hanging.
That's why I sometimes read the comments, it makes me happy and always reminds me to keep going and keep writing!

A: .....First of all, I will always choose Kamui! But since I need different ones....
For the Deserted island, I would bring Sougo. He's smart, he may be a sadist but he knows how to get by and survive on his own (remember the Vacation arc where they got lost in the snow, our boi Sougo made a snow hut!) And things would never be boring if Sougo is around. (I could choose Hijikata since he always brings mayonnaise around so that secures food...but that would be total hell eating mayonnaise everyday so I'll go with Sougo.)
For the zombie apocalypse....this is a hard one— but I would def choose Gintoki. I choose Gin because, the man is powerful— he can protect me anytime! We'd be able to live off of sweets alone— not healthy but it's the end of the world so who cares? Oh! And the Mayuzon arc— if I remember correctly, it was only Gintoki who wasn't affected? So, that's a plus! I hope we somehow survive...
And lastly, you know it— to our real world I would definitely bring Kamui!! I need to marry him— I dont need anything else as long as I can marry Kamui, seriously. I love food, he loves food, I love him— I'll work hard to feed him anything he wants.

A: As I mentioned above, I do read manhwa. Actually, before Manhwa I was crazy about Manhua— ans before that Manga. J only switched to Manhwa recently. Yes, I've watched True Beauty— My mother is a crazy big fan of Cha Eun Woo. Actually, I don't watch K-drama that much but my mother does so I'm always roped into watching with her.
As for otome isekai— of course I do!! But, I mostly like angsty stories with villainess stuff such as "When the Villainess Loves'' or "Death is the only ending for a villainess" or "May I Ask For One Final thing?" oh! And "My Fiance is in love with my little sister!" (Remarried Empress and Men of the Harem are pretty good too~) As long as it has villainess, angsty story and great art style— I'll read it. I mostly like stories with a badass female lead too like "White Blood" and "Crows Like Shiny Things" or "Blinded By The Setting Sun", "The Great Wish" , "Bring The Love" and "Princess Wars"

A: I'd say I'm pretty good with time management. First of all, when I'm given a task I do it right away. I don't like slow things and I like doing everything fast and quick. So usually, about 5 different tasks I manage to finish within an hour.
Usually I just use 1 or 2 hours to do something. The rest of my time can then be for sleeping, reading, eating, writing and watching anime~ I really don't have a specific time management schedule. I just do things on advance— if on task is supposed to be passed next week then I do it the previous week so I can laze around~
Just do it when it's given so you have free time to spare~ ♥️
Then, the Gintoki or Takasugi one— It's definitely Gintoki. I dont know why but I'm not attracted to Takasugi (Another thing I don't understand is every Takasugi fic I write, you guys seem to love it—)
And as for the Kamui or Sougo one— this is hard because I love them equally but I'm gonna go with Kamui. Nothing can beat my love for him. Let's see, both Kamui and Sougo are sadists, so they're equal in that part. But Kamui is def cuter than Sougo so...Kamui!

A: Okaaaay so. I told you guys about how I didnt have any in real life friends who watched anime right? Nobody suggested it to me or such, I just saw a scene of the anime and decided to watch it!
What was the scene? It's the iconic funeral of the restaraunt owner scene— the "Believe in the dick of the owner you believed in" scene 🤣 Not a good scene, but as soon as I saw Gin's face I went "He looks handsome, let's give it a try!~"
I dont remember exactly when I watched Gintama, but it was definitely the old days. Because, when I watched Gintama the recent arcs hadnt been animated yet. So, I'd say it was about in the 2013 that I first watched it. I stopped for a while, and because of the quarantine I watched it again.
This is one of the reasons why I dont remember seeing a character called Saito Shimaru. I didnt know he existed! Because when I watched Gintama the whole Afro arc hadnt been animated yet— I think. So when I rewatched I was like "How come I dont remember seeing this afro-haired handsome cutie called Shimaru?"
I also didnt recall the Shogun Assassination arc and the Farewell Shinsengumi arc— so I'd say it really was a while when I first got into Gintama.
I only became this dedicated to Gintama again because of all the readers who keep the fandom alive despite the manga ending and the final movie coming out 🤣♥️
