Her and I's relationship was never platonic, we were always something more. Shortly after I was found there was just a fight that emerged. " Colby, " I look at her and she shakes her head. " You two push them too far, and it's bad, " she tells me.
" Y/n, " I tell her, she begins to walk away. " Y/n! " I comment.
" Jake?! Jake! " Y/n screams.
Corey grabs a hold of my arm. " Let her go get him, " he tells me. I give him a nod. It's been 45 minutes and I'm starting to get worried.
" I'm starting to get worried, " I tell them. We hear someone walking outside the tent, and we exit it. And there stands Jake.
" Where's Y/n? " I ask him.
" What do you mean? " He asks me.
" Jake, where's Y/n? " I ask him again.
" I don't know, " he tells me, which got all of us worried. All of us began to run around. " Y/N! Y/N! " I scream.
" Y/N?! " Corey screams. We have searched and searched and searched for her. And I truly have started becoming truly worried.
" Guys! I found her! " Sam screams.
" Y/n! Y/n! " I scream as I begin to run over to her.
" Colby?! " She screams, I run and slide down right next to her. The boys running up behind us. " I'm-I'm stuck, " she mutters. She's in pain. I look down and realize her leg is trapped. " It hurts a lot, " she whispers. We try to move her, but she cries in pain.
" Y/n/n, " Sam says, she looks at him as she has tears filling her eyes. " Does your hand hurt? " He asks, she nods towards him. " Colby, " Sam comments. I get up and Corey moves to her side. " She's been out here by herself for how many hours by herself? We need to get her to a hospital, " he adds. She screams again. " She's covered in blood, " he adds. I give him a nod.
We eventually go her out, and an ambulance is on it's way. She's on my back, and she's slowly falling asleep. Hopefully it's just asleep and her not falling out of consciousness. " Hey, you alright? " I ask her.
" I'm sleepy, " she whispers.
" Guys, she's sleepy, " I tell them. I move her around so we're koala hugging.
" The woman told her to stay awake, " Jake tells me.
" Y/n you need to stay awake okay? " I ask/state.
" I don't know if I can Colbs, " she whispers. I pick her chin up and look at her.
" Stay awake okay. We're almost to where the ambulance is, " I tell her. She places her head on my shoulder. " I love you, " I whisper. We eventually made it to the ambulance and got her in, giving the person her information. We packed up everything and headed to the hospital as well. The drive there was quiet, the only thing being heard was our breathing.
I decided once we got to the hospital to call her mom, who is back in Kansas. " Colby! Lovely to have you call, " she tells me sweetly.
" Mama Y/l/n, there's been an accident, " I tell her, I'm already tearing up.
" With my girl? " She asks.
" Yes ma'am, " I whisper.
" What happened? " She asks.
" We were in the woods and she ended up getting lost. And she got trapped. We're at the hospital now, " I tell her.
" Oh God, " she mutters. " Will she be alright? " She asks.
" I don't know, " I whisper to her.
" Colby be honest with me, how bad was she? " She asks.
" I'm scared mama Y/l/n. It was bad, " I mutter.
" It's alright, she'll be alright. I need to go tell her dad, " she tells me. " I'll call you back, " she adds.
" Okay, " I whisper. I walk back to the waiting where all of us are waiting, and we hear the door open and more of our friends have shown up. Kat instantly running over to Sam, Tara instantly running over to Jake, and Brennen running over to me.
" What happened? " Kat asks.
" She got trapped, she was alone in the woods by herself for like almost 3 hours, " Corey tells them.
" This is all my fault, I should have gone after her, " I mutter.
" Colby this isn't your fault, " Kevin tells me. " Don't blame yourself, " he adds.
Y/n's P.O.V.
17 hours later....
" Colby? " I ask opening my eyes, he looks over at me.
" Hey, " he tells me, he's holding onto my hand.
" Where are we? " I ask.
" Hospital, " he comments, I slowly nod, I turn my head to see who's holding my other hand.
" Mom? " I ask.
" Hey honey, how are you feeling? " She asks.
" Alright, " I mutter. The doctor walks in, and smiles towards me.
" Good to see you awake, I'm Dr. Miletons, you have a broken ankle, broken wrist, bruised ribs, there was some damage to your lungs and heart, and a concussion, " he tells me. I give him a nod. " Do you live alone? " He asks.
" Yes, " I tell him.
" Maybe stay with a friend or your boyfriend until you recover, " he tells me, I nod towards him and slightly smile from the idea that he just assumed that Colby was my boyfriend.
I spent the next few hours in the hospital, said goodbye to my mom. And now Colby is helping me home. I have a wheelchair because they said it would be better due to the fact that I have a broken wrist also. We walk into his apartment, and I am greeted with all of our friends. Kat comes over engulfing me in a hug. " I was so scared, " she whispers.
" I'm going to be alright, " I whisper back, she nods towards me. Colby helps me over to the couch, and then some of them help me get onto the couch. Which I can do stuff a lot by myself, but they just want to help out.
" So how long did they tell you that it will be until you fully recover? " Aryia asks.
" 2 to 4 months, they're mainly concerned about my lungs and heart, " I tell him, as I already became out of breath.
" What exactly happened? If you're comfortable with talking about it, " Kevin says.
" I was trying to find Jake, and I got lost, I was also scared cause that forest is scary as hell. I got trapped in a weird trap, it was like a bear trap but more intense. Lost a lot of blood quickly, tried to stop it. That's why I was so bloody when you guys found me, and then I obviously have lung and heart problems. And they found holes in my lung, and a murmur in my heart, " I comment.
" Are you mentally okay? " Tara asks.
" Mentally I'm just shaken, it was scary being out there alone with no one bleeding. I truly did think that if the boys found me they would have found me dead, " I whisper. Tara grabs a hold of me and so does Kat. I look up at Colby turning to Sam and him just hugging him.
" We're glad you're okay, " Cassie tells me.
" Well if those 4 crazies didn't find me I don't know what would have happened, " I comment chuckling which causes all of them to laugh. " The one thing I ask, is don't try to show your worry. I'm alright right now, I'm going to be going to the doctors a lot these next few months. I'm alright now, " I add. " Don't have pity on me, if I need something I will ask okay? " I ask/states, they all agree and we just go on with our night.
By the end of the night now it's me trying to get comfortable on the couch, and Colby walks in shirtless. " What are you doing? " He asks.
" I'm getting comfortable, " I comment chuckling lightly.
" You're not sleeping on my couch, " he tells me.
" You're not sleeping on your couch either, " I comment back. He nods towards me, he helps me to his room and hands me one of his shirts. " Can you help me? " I ask him, he nods towards me. I just need help getting out of my clothes. I raise my arms above my head, and he slowly brings the shirt off of me. " Can you undo my bra? " I ask.
" Are you sure? " He asks, I give him a nod. He moves his hands and undo my bra, and I move it off of my body and onto the floor. I grab a hold of his shirt, and try to put it on and get help by Colby. Once it's completely over my hand and fully on I realize how close him and I are.
And I heard him saying he loved me. I heard him, but I also don't know exactly what he meant when he said it. Was it in a friend was, was it more, was it just he didn't know if he would ever get the chance of saying it. Truly I don't know. " Did you mean it? " I ask, he looks up at me as he finished taking off my pants.
" What? " He asks standing up and moving to sit next to me.
" Did you mean it, what you said to me in the woods. Or did you just say it because you didn't know if I would make it or not? " I ask looking over at him.
" You heard me? " He asks, I give him a nod. " I've meant it since sophomore year, I've been in love with you since before I even truly knew what love meant. I don't think you realize how much I love you, " he adds. I smile lightly from his comment.
" Kiss me already, " I comment chuckling. He moves in and kisses me. And I obviously kiss back. " I love you too, " I mutter.
He smiles brightly towards me. " I need to get you to bed, " he tells me. He helps me in and kisses me before going on the other side and getting ready for bed himself. He moves towards me, and kisses my cheek. " I'm glad you're alright, " he adds.
" Me too, but I knew you would find me. You always find me, " I whisper.
Because of a freak accident him and I finally admitted it to each other. And honestly I couldn't be more happy about it.
