Gintoki's breath hitched at the sight in front of him. (Y/N), seemingly refusing to meet his eyes, a blush spread on her cheeks and her lips gently quivering.
"G-Gin, can you........" She softly spoke, her lips parting ever so gently as she tried to look him in the eyes— though, hesitantly.
"Can I?...." Gintoki repeated her words, urging her to continue as he gulped in anticipation.
"Can you...spend your christmas with me?...."
Gintoki's jaw dropped and his heart leapt out of his chest. 'T-This....— THIS IS IT!!!!' He yells happily, turning back for a while to clench his fist happily before quickly pulling on a serious face as he turned to face her again.
"W-Well.....Tsk, it's troublesome and all. But since you asked so sincerely, maybe I can...."
Ah, Gintoki was also a tsundere.
"Oh, good. Thanks," (Y/N) nodded and then walked away. Once she was gone, Gintoki crouched down and covered his face with his hands.
"Ahhh, what do I do? I'm spending Christmas with her! A-Are we gonna do it!?"
But— that was not quite what had happened.
In reality, the earlier scene was Gintoki's own fantasy. What really happened was—
"Gin, can you...." (Y/N) sighs and then turned her bored eyes at him with a stoic look on her face.
"Spend Christmas at my place?"
(Y/N) didn't mean anything but casual hanging out. Gintoki, however got the wrong idea because he was too caught up with his fantasies.
He also didn't know that she asked quite a few other people as well— not just him.
"Oh, I have to buy her a gift!"
So, Gintoki's adventure in finding a perfect christmas gift for (Y/N) has started.
With the countdown of 10 days till Christmas.

Gintoki let out a small groan, as he clutched his silver hair in his hands and slumped his head down on the table.
"What does she like? Food? Accessories? Clothes?— Noooo!!"
"Shinpachi, is Gin-chan going crazy? He's been like that since this morning."
"Leave him be, Kagura-chan. Gin-san has always been like that,"
"Ah! This is no good— I'll go out to town. Maybe looking at something will help me find the perfect gift for her." Gintoki shook his head and sighed. He then made his way out to search for a suitable gift for (Y/N)— he also thought that he should jump on this chance and confess his undying feelings for her.
The reason he hadn't been able to do that depsite being with her for a long time now was because she was a dense woman who knew nothing about the so called love.
She was dense beyond his expectations— no matter what move he pulled on her, she never got flustered once.
On the other hand, it was Gintoki who blushed at every little matter involving her.
Gintoki took his time in browsing almost everything he came across. He could really feel that Christmas was near, there were couples walking around sharing scarfs and holding hands. Early Christmas sales and a bunch of kids playing around in the snow.
Usually, Gintoki would scoff and scorn at the couples. He felt bitter every year— Gin-san is so handsome, why must he spend Christmas alone? That had been his thoughts each and every year.
"No, no. It's different this time," Gintoki smirked knowingly and nodded approvingly to himself. "Now, what should I buy for (Y/N)—" Gintoki paused when he sees Katsura in front of him.
"(Y/N) certainly won't like this. It's too flashy....maybe this?" Katsura hummed to himself, lifting a small Elizabeth plushie. His eyes lit up and a wide smile appeared on Katsura'a lips
"This is it! There's no way she won't like it— It's so cute!"
"ZURA?!"
"Oh, Gintoki! What a coincidence!" Katsura finally noticed Gintoki standing in front of him and showed Gintoki the plushie.
"Hey, don't you think this is cute?"
"W-Why are you buying gifts for (Y/N)?" Gintoki asks suspiciously, eyebrow twitching as he tried not to suspect Katsura.
'After all— She only asked me right? Just me! Yeah! That's right, it's just me!!'
"Why?....." Katsura mumbled out and looked up before his face slowly turned red. "W-Well....." He started scratching his cheeks with that unusually flushed expression on his face.
"(Y/N) a-and I— w-we're going to....s-spend Christmas together...."
"WHAAAAAAAAAT?!"
"Hmph! I need not tell you the details," Katsura crossed his arms and smugly looked at Gintoki. "It's between the two of us!"
"No, uh— Zura...." Gintoki sighs, rubbing a hand to his cheek. "I think we both got the wrong idea here...."
"What do you mean?— and it's not Zura, it's Katsura!!!"

"Gin, Kotaro! Took you two long enough," (Y/N) opened the doors to her house finding Gintoki and Katsura standing side by side each other.
"........."
In the end, Gintoki and Katsura let (Y/N) drag them inside where they find almost everyone already partying.
"Uh....(Y/N)?...." Gintoki lifted a shaky finger to (Y/N) who arched an eyebrow at him. "Yeah?''
"I thought it was just.....going to be us....two...." He dejectely slumped his shoulders down. He got too excited— this one was definitely on him.
"Us two? What are you saying, Gin?" Her face contorts to that of amusement as she lets out a loud chuckle. "I invited everyone!"
"Wait....(Y/N), by everyone you don't mean you've invited—"
"Ahahahah! Hahahah! (Y/N)-chan, it's been a while!!"
"Tatsuma!!!"
"Whew," Gintoki and Katsura sighed in relief and nodded at each other.
"It's just Tatsuma." Gintoki nodded in approval. "That's good."
"(Y/N)— ew. Why are those guys here?"
Gintoki, Katsura and Sakamoto froze at the familiar voice. Then, they see Takasugi standing in front of (Y/N)— glaring daggers onto the three guys.
"Now, now. It's Christmas!! Let's put everything behind us and have a great time!" (Y/N) pats Takasugi's back, and firmly pushes them into a room where the others were.
"T-THAT'S—" Hijikata's eyes widened when (Y/N) entered the room with the 4 guys around.
"TAKASUGI!"
"Katsura's here too." Sougo frowned and placed a hand on his sword.
"Wait." (Y/N) raised her palm at them. Sougo and Hijikata froze from pulling out their swords and (Y/N) lifted up a letter.
"T-That's—!!" Hijikata gasped as he snatched the letter from (Y/N)'s hands and read it.
"Bisha-chan's golden letter!!"
"Hah? What the hell is that stuff?"
"It's a powerful verdict that prevents us from arresting wanted criminals on special chapters like this one." Kondo sighs, "We can't help it. Toshi, Sougo— put down your swords."
"—and let's enjoy this party!" Kondo cheers, "Otae-san, today— I will gift my whole self to you! Please accept me!!"
"No, thank you!" Otae yells as she kicks Kondo away. "Now, shall we start the party for real?" She smiled at the guys.
"Tsk."
"Damn it."
"Guys, go fetch the food I ordered." (Y/N) ordered the guys, who hesitantly went out to fetch the pizza. "And while they're out...." (Y/N) giggled and brought out the alcohol.
"LET'S DRINK!!!" Tsukuyo cheers— all the girls cheering with her. Kagura and Shinpachi were restricted to juices while the older girls started downing the alcohol like water.
"Damn it. I thought I was supposed to spend Christmas alone with her..." Gintoki sighs disappointedly, but at the same time Sakamoto, Takasugi, Katsura, Okita and Kamui sighed as well.
"You too?!"
"Wait— why are you here?!" Gintoki turned to Kamui who had just entered (Y/N)'s house.
"Ah, me?" Kamui smiled and pointed to himself. "Here to visit (Y/N)-chan, of course!"
"We've been had." Takasugi frowned disapprovingly. "I thought it would just be us two. But a lot of irritating pests are here as well."
"Hah! Say that to your face, Takasugi!" Katsura growls. "Why don't you go back to your ship and be emo like you always are."
"What did you say—"
"If that's the case let me get rid of the mayo freak as well!" Gintoki grabbed Hijikata's collar.
"What the— I'll take you out, sugar breath!!"
"Why don't we settle our previous feud right now?" Kamui smirked at Sougo.
"I'm totally fine with that right now."
"Ahahahaha! Hahahah! I'll watch you guys!!" Sakamoto laughed, as the guys paired up to fight each other while he— being the good guy he is— was just standing there enjoying the scene play out.
"Hey, if you guys don't hurry the girls will finish all the alcohol." Shinpachi calls outs to the guys, and the guys froze at the mention of alcohol.
"Shinpachi....You didn't—" Gintoki sweat dropped.
"—Let them drink alcohol right?....'
"What? (Y/N)-san brought some out...."
"NOOOOOOO!!!"
"Do you understand what you've done?!" Gintoki gripped Shinpachi's shoulders and rocked him back and forth. "You've unleashed hell! Right now, if we walk back in there we won't walk out alive!!!"
"You're over reacting," Hijikata sighs as he leads them to the room where the girls were. "It's Christmas. (Y/N) will get angry if we—" Hijikata was cut off when a bottle hit his head.
"Hey, you...." (Y/N) lowly growls as Hijikata craned his neck to look at a red-faced (Y/N).
"Go get more alcohol. Right now."
"SHE'S COMPLETELY INTOXICATED!!!"
"I DON'T WANNA DIE, LEAVE ME OUT OF THIS—" Gintoki began to run but (Y/N) threw another bottle at Gintoki's head.
"No one leaves, Christmas ain't over yet." She glared deathly at Gintoki and Gintoki immediately falls on his knees.
"...How the hell is her aim so good when she's drunk..." he mumbled under his breath.
"Gin-san! I will devote my whole self to you! Please accept me!!!" Sarutobi clung to Gintoki while Gintoki desperately tried to push her off.
"You—" (Y/N) pointed to Takasugi, "Go get more alcohol."
"Like hell— No way am I tolerating your intake when you're alre—" Takasugi gulped when (Y/N) raised another empty bottle ready to chuck it at his head.
"Noooooo!~ Don't throw the bottles at my Shinsuke-sama!" Matako clings to (Y/N) who scoffed at her and pushed her away. (Y/N) had caught her sneaking around earlier and forced her to drink alcohol.
"Then, tell your Shinsuke-sama to shut up and obey my every word!!"
"............"
"WHAT?!" Hijikata yells, noticing the way Kyubei was gazing at him.
"You— You're the gorilla in disguise aren't you? I'll protect Otae-chan!!" Kyubei pulled out a sword which Hijikata barely managed to block.
"Kill him! Kill him!" Sougo cheered Kyubei on while Hijikata struggled to dodge her attacks. "Damn you, Sougo—!!"
"Ahahahha! Hahahah! I wanna drink too!!" Sakamoto cheers as he grabs a cup and begins to pour himself a cup. "(Y/N)-chan, let's drink till we drop!!"
"That's more like it! That's why I like drinking with you, Tatsuma!"
"DON'T ENCOURAGE HER!!" Takasugi and Katsura smacked Sakamoto's head.
"Did you....." (Y/N) furrowed her eyebrows angrily at the two. "Just hit Tatsuma?"
Takasugi and Katsura froze.
"Kneel!!!"
"...Yes maam!"
"....All the other girls are passed out." Katsura looked around, Tsukuyo, Kyubei, Otae and Sarutobi were all passed out cold on the ground. Kagura was snuggled up against Sadaharu fast asleep.
"How the hell is she still up!?" Hijikata grumbled. By now, all the guys were down on their knees in front of her.
"Where's the alcohol?" (Y/N) demanded, as Kamui and Sougo immediately ran to her side and poured her cup with alcohol.
"Oh, good." She smiles and downs the cup. "You get a kiss for being so good~" She giggled, wrapping her arms around Kamui's neck she leaned close and pecked his cheek.
The guy's perked up when she did this and an idea sprung into their minds.
"(Y/N), do you want more?" Gintoki grins, appearing beside her with a grin as he held up an alcohol to her.
"No....I....." (Y/N) blinked her eyes tiredly and yawned, "I feel sleepy now...." She laid her head on Sougo's lap and snuggled close.
Sougo looked down at her and then smirked at the guys pitifully. "I win."
"LIKE HELL YOU DID—!!"
"....Jeez, it's Christmas and all but I didn't get to do a thing.."
"Shut up. I went all the way here just to obey a drunken woman's whims." Takasugi scowled.
"I'll try again next year." Katsura smiled softly.
"Well, I got a kiss so I'm satisfied~" Kamui grins.
"Ahahahah! Hahahah! I....didn't get to drink even a drop of alcohol...." Sakamoto dejectedly sighs.
"Well....who cares?" Gintoki smiled as he looked at (Y/N). "At least she had fun." He gestured to her and they saw the beautiful smile painted on her lips.
"I.....love you....." She mumbled in her sleep and the guy's eyes widened.
"W-Who?...." Hijikata asked but (Y/N) didn't respond.
".....Guess it's not time yet to know, huh?" Gintoki smirked as he looks out at the courtyard. "Well....For now, let's enjoy it..."
"Merry Christmas, (Y/N)."

"Uh....what's all this?" (Y/N) sweat dropped at the mountain of pillows piled up in front of her. The next day, everyone woke up with a splitting headache— (Y/N) however woke up to a mountain of pillows.
"...Your gift."
"Gift?" (Y/N) arched an eyebrow. "From who?"
All the guys raised their hands.
"YOU ALL GOT ME THE SAME THING!?"
"You love sleeping." Katsura pointed out.
"T-That's true— But, who sleeps with 7 pillows?!"
"You will."
