Jonah's P.O.V.
2018
Randy is talking to Zach about something, and we're not sure what. Something seems up, just based on Zach's facial expression. " Should we go see if he's alright? They've been talking for like 45 minutes, " Corbyn comments.
" I don't know, " I whisper. Randy walks in, and Zach stands there in shock. All of us walk out to see him. " Zach what's wrong? " I ask, he looks up at us and we notice a letter.
" Zach? " Jack asks.
" She's gone, Y/n's gone. He said she um-she left during tour. And she's not...not coming back, " he cries. We all walk over to him and hug him. " She's gone, " he whispers.
" It's going to be alright, " Corbyn whispers. Jack stays out with him, and we all head back inside. " Why would she just leave? " Corbyn asks, I look over at him and shrug my shoulders towards him.
" He's going to be a complete mess, he should go visit his mom, " Daniel comments. We both nod towards him, Jack and him walk back inside. " Hey why don't you visit your family, we have a few days off, " he adds. He nods.
" We'll work stuff out here, you need to see your mom, " I tell him, he nods again.
" Have you read it? " Corbyn asks pointing to the letter. He shakes his head. " Read it when you're ready, " he adds. He nods towards him. Jack and him walk off, and we all look at each other.
" God he's a mess, " Daniel mutters.
" Understandable, his best friend since he was like what 3? Just gets up and leaves, wouldn't you be the same way? " I ask him.
" Not only best friend, he was in love with her, " Corbyn chimes in. We nod towards him.
" I just don't know why she would just leave, " I comment. " There has to be a reason, " I add, Jack comes back down without Zach.
" He's asleep, " he comments.
" Did he tell you why she left? " I ask. He shakes his head.
" I don't think he even knows, he just kept saying over and over again she's gone. I don't even know if Randy knows where she went, " Jack comments.
" He has to know where she went right? " Daniel asks. We all look at each other in confusion. Not truly knowing if he would or not.
Y/n's P.O.V.
2018
" You need to be gone by the time the boys come back, " Alice tells me. I look at her in shock.
" I'm confused, why? " I ask.
" Well you're pregnant, with Zach's child. So you need to stay away from them. When they get back it's going to be like you never existed to them, they are taking off. And none of them need distractions, " she tells me, I stand there in shock.
" And if I don't? " I ask.
" I'll get a restraining order against you, " she comments. " Or I'll have you arrested, " she states.
" This is outrageous you can't just do that! " I scream at her.
" Yes I can! Zach doesn't need you, he doesn't need that inside of you in his life. So you better leave now and never show your face around him or it will be bad, " she screams back. I step back in shock. Grabbing my things, and walking out of the front door crying my eyes out. Making my way to my house.
" Y/n? Baby what's wrong? " My mom asks running over me, I instantly fall onto the ground beginning to cry my eyes out. She grabs a hold of me, and just holds me whispering to me it's going to be alright. She knows, so.. I just I don't want to stop hanging out with him. I'm in love with him.
" I can't see Zach anymore, " I whisper. " Randy said I can't, " I add. She holds onto me, and listens to me. Which she then went off, to probably call Randy. I begin to look at photos of him, and just smile and then begin to cry.
" And what if Zach wants to be involved with that baby's life?! " I hear my mom scream. " And you've talked to Zach? Zach doesn't even know about the baby, " she adds. " Just let her say goodbye in some type of way, by text or call him, or note. Something, " she states. " This is bullshit, you can't control his life. He has a right to be involved if he wants to be involved, " she comments. " Let her say goodbye to him, they have been best friends since they were 3, " she states. She eventually gets off the photo, and walks back over to me. " You can write a note, " she tells me. I give him a nod. So that's what I do, I write the note to Zach saying goodbye. And then I write one to Jonah.
I go to see the boys as they begin to leave. I'm 2 months pregnant, so they won't notice. I secretly place the letter in his bag, before hugging all of them. " Love you guys, " I comment hugging them. Zach pulls me aside, and we head to his room. " Why are we going into your room Zach? " I ask him chuckling.
" I just wanted to have some time alone with you, before we had to leave, " he tells me. Which causes me to smile.
" Don't forget about me, that's the only thing I have to say, " I comment, a little heartbroken knowing what's about to happen.
" I could never forget you, you're my best friend, " he comments. I smile, he leans in and kisses me. And I instantly begin to kiss back. He wraps his arms around my waist, and I move mine around his neck. Ever since we first kissed, we've kissed a lot more. I'm going to miss him so much. After we kissed we back away and just hug.
" Zach! " Jonah screams from downstairs.
" That's your cue, " I whisper he nods, he hugs me again. And then we both head downstairs.
Zach's P.O.V.
2020
" Hey Jonah, you have a letter for you, " Daniel says walking in.
" It's probably nothing, you can read it if you want, " Daniel comments back, we're all just hanging out. He opens it, and begins to read it.
" It's definitely something, " he states.
" What? What does it say? " Jack asks.
" When you come back from tour I won't be here. Alice threatened me and I can't hang out with you guys anymore. Which I know you would have a lot of questions with why she threatened me. But I'm pregnant and Zach's-and Zach's the father. Please watch him for me. I love you and I love all of the other guys. Truly yours Y/n, " he reads. We all get up to see the note.
" Look at the date, " Jack comments.
" February 24th, " I read to myself. Tessa takes a hold of it, and turns it over.
" Give me my phone, " Tessa then comments, Corbyn tosses it and she does something.
" Daniel what are you doing? " I ask.
" Calling the number, " she states. She puts it on speaker, and everyone surrounds the phone.
" Hello? " Jack holds onto me this is the first time I've heard her voice in 2 years. " Hello? Is anyone there? " She asks.
" Hi is this Y/n? " She asks, my eyes go wide from her being straight forward.
" Yes this is, who am I speaking too? " Y/n asks.
" Tessa, I was looking through my boyfriend's bag and I found this letter, " Tessa comments.
" Jonah never found the letter? Wow, maybe that's why he never called, " Y/n whispers.
" Why are you whispering? " He asks.
" My son, Nathaniel is asleep, trying not to wake him up, " Y/n states. I sit down from her saying son. Which means she was actually pregnant.
" And everything you said in the letter was true? " She asks.
" Yeah, I only remember like half of what I put in the letter, but yeah everything was, " Y/n tells her. " Um, I have a question, " she adds.
" What is it? " Tessa asks back.
" Um, how's Zach? " She asks, she looks over at me.
" Honestly or what he's telling the public? " Tessa asks, she chuckles lightly. God I miss her laugh.
" Either works, I just want to know he's alright, " she comments.
" He's doing alright, I can tell he misses you a lot, " Tessa tells her.
" Mommy, " we hear someone speak.
" I'm so sorry I have to go, but feel free to text me if you have any questions, " she states.
" I actually have a weird request, " she comments.
" And what is that? " Y/n asks.
" Can you send me a picture of Nathaniel? " Tessa asks.
" Sure, " she says. She hangs up the phone, and 2 minutes later a picture is sent. " Well Zach, your son looks like you, " she adds. Showing me a picture of Nathaniel. He has my hair but Y/n's eyes.
" I need to find her, I need to talk to her, " I state starting to freak out. " I'm a dad, and I missed what? 2 years of my kids life?! And-and for what?! Why was I not even told that I was a dad? " I ask beginning to become more panicked. They sit me back down, and get some water to try and calm me down.
" What's wrong? What happened? " Jon asks walking in.
" I was lied to! " I scream. Jon looks confused, and that's when Daniel starts to explain.
" Do you want to find or talk to her? " Jon asks me.
" Find her, " I tell him.
" Give me some time okay? " He asks, I give him a nod.
Y/n's P.O.V.
I got a call from Claire, and he said that he needed some assistance at the warehouse. " Well it was last minute so I have to bring the little guy, " I comment chuckling as I hold Nathaniel. " What exactly is the issue? " I ask.
" This is Jon, he wanted to talk to you, " Claire comments. I give her a weird look. " It's alright, " she adds. I give her a nod.
" Hi I know this seems weird and is weird. There's a group of boys about to walk through that door, Why Don't We, are you ready to see them again? " He asks.
" Well kinda being thrown into it no not really. Were they there when Tessa was talking to me? " I ask, he nods. I give him a slight nod.
" I do also have a question about some of the warehouse things, " he comments. I give him a nod, we begin to go off the things. And then we hear talking.
" DOGGY! " Nathaniel screams, him getting out of my arms.
" Nate! " I comment. " This kiddo is going to be the death of me, " I add. I walk over as he pets the dog. " Remember bubba be gentle, " I add.
" Yes mama, " he states. After he was done petting the dog, I pick him back up.
" But I do think that's about it, you just have to make sure not to over power because then there could be a power outage, " I tell him.
" And they're coming up, " Jon whispers.
" Whoa I love this...place, " Daniel says beginning to have a lost of words when we make eye contact. " Y/N! " He screams running full sleep at me. I place Nathaniel down, and he engulfs me in a hug a well needed one. When I get out of that hug, I am engulfed in another hug by Corbyn, followed by Jonah, and then Jack. Leaving Zach. I look up at him, and he just grabs a hold of me.
" You had a kid? " He whispers. I nod. " And he's mine? " He asks, I nod again. " Why didn't you tell me? " He asks.
" Alice said if I came near any of you guys should would have gotten a restraining order against me or have me arrested, " I whisper. " I wasn't going to risk it, I also thought Jonah would find my letter sooner, " I add. Nathaniel has come and wrapped around my leg, and get him and pick him up. " Everything's alright baby, these people are nice, " I add.
" Who's he? " He asks pointing to him. I look at Zach and nod.
" I'm your dad kiddo, " Zach tells him.
" Dad? " He asks, Zach nods and he goes into his arms hugging him.
" Sorry I haven't been around, I'm here now, " he whispers towards him. I wipe away the tear from my eye as I watch Nathaniel and Zach interact with each other.
2 years, it took 2 years for us to finally be back in each other's lives. And honestly I don't know if his feelings are still there. But what I do know is that as soon as we can, we're going to be visiting his parents.
