~Chapter 12~

Jimin's pov:

"Why did you decide to take the car and not be with them on the truck?" I ask, curiously

"Firstly, I know that you wouldn't join me in that truck. Secondly, I didn't want you to be lonely in this car. Besides, I just met them and I knew you way longer than them," layla answered, smiling

"Does that mean that we're friends?" I ask but secretly hoping that we could be more

"Yeah, we're friends," She said, smiling

I'm glad and that means I'm one step closer to being something more with her. This is progress and I can't wait to tell yoongi hyung later tonight. Maybe talk to taehyungie too cause its been a while since I heard his voice. I miss them.

"If we find my uncle, I can't wait to introduce him to you," she said, smiling

"Well, I can't wait to be introduced to your uncle. I hope he likes me," I said

"I'm sure that he will cause who wouldn't. You're so sweet and caring. You were the first person that I met when I arrive to Korea. If he doesn't like you still, I'll persuade him to like you," Layla said, giggling

"Well thanks. I feel assured by that," I laughed

"Hey. Do you not have any confident in me to make my uncle like you?" She said, offended

"Oh no, I do have full confidence in you," I laughed

"Wow, thanks for the confidence boost," she pout

"Aww, cheer up layla. I really do have confidence in you," I said, trying to cheer her up

I may have confidence on that but I'm too sure if she knew about what her uncle have done. I'm also not too sure if her uncle is alive. If you're wondering, I knew a little bit about her uncle recently because of yoongi. The only thing that yoongi have information on her uncle is that he is dead. I'm worried about how she'll react to that sad news. My thoughts were interrupted by statics. It can't be yoongi trying to call me...I hope not.

"Sky, I haven't heard from you in a while," layla said, cheerfully

Ah sky, I should really be thankful to him for bringing layla to me. Maybe in the future if he ever drops by to Korea that is. Then, I'll proceed to kill him cause I ain't about to let anyone else take layla away from who she truly belong and that is with us.

"Sorry layla. I've been struggling to find my siblings but I managed to find them," He said

"How are they?" She ask

"Oh, they're fine well except for Jessica," He sigh

"Is she okay?" I ask

"Well-oh who's that?" sky ask

"Right, that's jimin. I met him at an abandoned mall. He was the first person that I met after you drop me off. He's been taking care of me ever since," Layla said, happily

I feel proud and happy that she said that. If only she could say that I was her boyfriend, then my day would be a whole lot better. Baby steps and soon she'll be ours forever.

"He's not an advancement, right?" He questioned

Shoot, I'm lucky that he's not here then I'll be in whole lot of trouble as I'll have no choice but to kill him too soon. There is no way that I will let anyone take layla from me and my other boyfriends.

"Don't worry, sky. He's not. I've checked and made sure," She said

"Wait...what? when did you check?" I ask, a little scared

"On the first day that I met you while you were sleeping. I didn't find any marks on you that indicate that you are an advancement," She said, smiling

I should be a little more careful around her. She might be slightly naïve but she's still smart enough to check on me. I wonder if she had check on the other three. Probably not...

"Anyway, is your sister alright?" Layla change the topic

"Well when I first found her, she was running a fever but I check on her whole body and she doesn't seem to be bitten or have the advancement mark. I gave her medication and she seems fine for now. Another thing is that when I first found them, I met a girl and her name is jennie," he said

Jennie!!! She's in London this whole time so that's where she's been hiding from us. Sneaky and I bet hobi would love to hear that she's alright. I smirk a little at the thought and luckily layla did not notice that at all.

"Is she an advancement?" Layla ask, serious

That she is but I wouldn't want to expose her yet. I'll let her have her fun for now.

"No, I check. she doesn't have the mark but I wouldn't trust her much. I'll observe her for the time being. Anyway, I need to check on my siblings. Call me when you get to your uncle. See you soon," Sky said

"Alright see you. We seem to be here anyway," Layla said as she finally ends after hearing sky's siblings saying goodbye too

"I can't wait to see my uncle. Do you think he would let all of us to stay here? This place seem safe enough. Don't you think?" Layla questioned

"I hope so," I said as I park the car beside Jin hyung's truck

We saw them getting out of the truck and we followed them. Layla ran after namjoon hyung as she spot him walking ahead of us

"You coming," I heard jungkook ask from beside me

I nodded my head and I follow right behind him. Please let there be no walkers or any other advancements in there...
