Zombie lovers (On Hold)

~Chapter 9~

Jimin's pov:

After Layla left the room in anger, I felt so bad for what I said but I had to do it. As I remember my conversation with yoongi hyung while Layla was showering.

Flashback:

"Yoongi hyung, what am I suppose to do? I think I'm in an advancement territory. I can't leave unless she wants to," I said, upset

"Calm down my love, Let me figure out a plan. I'll come up with a plan where Layla still remain clueless about us being advancements" He said

"Please hurry Hyung, We can't lose her to them," I whine

"I'll get back to you on the plan but for the meantime don't get her angry," yoongi warn

Flashback end:

Too late for that hyung. I should go apologise to her then. I got up from the bed with a sigh and made my way to the room opposite mine. I placed my ears on the doors when I heard soft melodies being sung. I didn't know she can sing...wait that's jungkook's voice. What is he doing? I push open the door which scared jungkook but luckily, didn't wake layla up.

"What did you do to her!!!" I scream which I shouldn't but my anger has overwhelm me

"Chill, I didn't do anything wrong. She was upset by what you did so I sang to calm her mind," He explain

I was embarrassed a little at the fact that jungkook was only comforting her and nothing more. He was right that it's kinda my fault she ended up needing comfort and in another room. I sigh in defeat as I walk out of the door but I stop before I could fully leave.

"When she wakes up tomorrow, could you ask her to come and see me? I would like to talk to her," I said and with that, I left the room

Jungkook's pov:

I silently watch jimin left the room looking extremely vulnerable. Interesting, he seem to truly care for her. If he is an advancement, this care for her would be pointless. What are you planning, jimin?

Jin's pov:

"How was it, kookie?" I ask as we watch him come down the stairs.

"It was fine that is until jimin came barging in," He said, a little confused

"What happened?" Joon asks, curiously

"He started to scold me but I come up with a lie while keeping my powers a secret. He then proceeds to ask if he could talk to layla once she wakes up. He seems very vulnerable too when he ask. It's as though he still has his human feelings," kookie explains as he sat beside Jin Hyung.

"Strange. As far as I know, we are unable to connect to our human feelings. That girl must be the antidote then," Joon said, smiling

"That's impossible. All the existing antidotes were eaten by us remember and have been killed by walkers. Woozi was the last standing antidote until you said he died," I remind him

"That may be true but when we killed their uncle, we found some interesting research," Joon said

"What research? Haven't we destroyed them too?" Kookie questioned

"That is before, my love," Joon said

"Explain," I demand

"Remember that day,  You were complaining about how I took so long to leave his library. I told you that I found some interesting books but that was not the case. I found some interesting files about Layla. Apparently, they have been experimenting on Layla to see if her body can accept the full antidote and it was acceptable. How the antidote works when one of us bites her, we'll turn back human but if we don't and stay near contact with her,  we'll be able to get our emotions back again or slowly become human without us knowing it." Joon explains

"You're telling me that the last standing antidote is in this household?!?!" I exclaim

"Shush hyung. I don't think Layla knows it yet but there is a way to reverse her antidote and to make it into a poison for anyone who dares to bite her," Joon said

"Even us?" Kookie ask

"No, I can make it that only the walkers will perish and she will turn into an advancement too," Joon explains

"Sounds good to me. How are we going to do that?" I ask

"Simple. We need to go back to that laboratory to find that formula then she'll be ours forever including the four of them. Cause wherever Layla goes, jimin is not too far behind so will the rest," Joon explains again

"Great plan. Let's initiate it tomorrow when both of them have rested fully. I'm gonna start dinner. Want to help me, kookie?" I ask, getting up from my seat

"Sure, hyung," With that both of us went straight for the kitchen

Sorry for the long wait but, officially, my exams are over. I can focus on this book but I do also have responsibilities back at home so bear with the updates. I am also trying to find a job along the way so I'll see what I can do about updating. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy it so far.
