It's tearing our friendship apart and I feel that layla will be the only person that could help with ending this. Once its all over, we could finally make her ours...
"Here's the plan. Suga hyung and Hobi hyung would want to sleep here with you. Reason is because it is easy to keep an eye on you if you were close. Tae and I will convince our hyungs to allow you to sleep with us in my room instead. Once its 2am in the morning, we'll quietly sneak out down the hallway to our secret tunnel to a walker infested building," I explain
"Wait...you have an infested building filled with walkers. Why?" layla ask
"Technically, it isn't our building. We had led multiple walkers there so that if our girl manage to escape through the tunnel. Let's just say the walker would have an early lunch or dinner," Tae said
"Not reassuring. I'll be walking into a living dead lion's den. Are you both crazy?!?" layla said, in alarm
"Relax. We'll need to cover you in guts before we proceed through the herd. That's all. You have nothing to worry about. Those walkers fear us. We'll protect you forever," I said while mumbling the last part as I pat her head
"One, don't touch me. Second, even if we do escape, How are we suppose to get away from this place?" Layla ask
"Let's just say a certain bunny will be waiting for us at the entrance," I said , smiling
"You meant jungkook, right?" She sigh
The both us smile sheepishly at her as she shake her in disappointment. Aww, my cute doll is pretty smart. Let's hope she is still naïve enough though.
~Hours later~
Layla's pov:
"I can't believe that work," I said, shock
As jimin close the door after waving yoongi goodnight. Taehyung smiled at me as he silently pack a bag. I only need to give a drop of my blood which was later explained by jimin why yoongi needs it. He reassure me that the serum will only be fully develop within three days. I'm still a little worried. I still need to keep an eye out and make own escape. This outing just gives me an opportunity.
"Told you. You have nothing to worry about. You manage to grab your bag with the journal inside?" jimin ask
"Yes, I did. Just to remind you. If you three try to betray me, I'll leave your sorry asses behind. I don't care if you need me or not. I'll leave," I threaten them
Yes, I did lie. I'll eventually leave them. I ain't about to give birth an ultimate weapon. I intend to use my antidote against them. I'm willing to do anything to save earth.
"We won't. I promise. Remember the plan. Taehyung and I will carry the bags. You only need to worry on how to get there silently," jimin said
"I am quiet," I said, offended
"You're not really. Even if you walk as silently as you possibly could. We could still hear from a mile away," Tae said as he pick up the bag and place it on the bed
"Ugh...fine. I'll work on it. I'll prove it to the both of you that I could be quiet," I huff
"You work on that. C'mon jimin, we need to get some food from our secret stash downstairs," Tae said
"Yeah, okay. You should get some rest too while you're at it. You need all the rest that you can get. We ain't stopping until we get to Japan for your dad's secret lab," Jimin said
"I still don't get how you knew about my dad's secret lab?" I ask, wondering what else do they know
"Remember that you're the antidote. You help restore some of our memory and we remember that he had another lab like the one in Korea at Japan," Taehyung explain
With that both of them left me alone in the room. I better listen to them for now.
Jungkook's pov:
After recieving a call from jiminie, I start convincing jin and namjoon hyung to allow me to sleep on my own. Though, they wee a little upset but they said yes...sorta. For their plan to work, they need me to get them to Japan. We're going to fix it and everything will be back to normal. Layla's antidote had finally took an effect on me. I remember a few of memories. One of them about how we became her dad's experiment. It was a cold night when---
My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. I walk up to door and only to be greeted by a worried jin.
"Kookie, do you want to tell me why you want to sleep by yourself?" Jin ask, a little upset
"Aww, hyung. It isn't because of you. I just need to know what it feels like to sleep by myself. Tomorrow, I'll be back sleeping in your arms," I lied to him as I hug him
I don't feel great when I lied to him but I had to do it. Its for the sake of atoning our past mistakes.
"Okie, kookie. Night," Jin hyung said as he kiss my forehead
I continue to stare at him, making sure that he really went inside the room. I sigh in relief once jin is inside. That is until Namjoon slam me onto the door.
"What are you really doing, kookie. Better watch yourself. Jin hyung might not suspect anything but I do. I love you, kookie but I hope that you weren't thinking about betraying us, are you?" Namjoon hyung question as he stare directly into my eyes
"No, hyung. I would never. I'll see you tomorrow morning," I said, smiling
"Good. I'm sorry for doing that kookie. We're just stress out because of layla and Jimin's betrayal. Good night, Jungkook," Namjoon said as he left to jin hyung's room
Escaping tonight might be harder than I thought it would be. I enter the room back again and pick up my bag. I head over too the balcony in the room and jump off. Finally landing quietly and making my way to the campervan park about three miles away from our home. I stare at the farm one last time and drove into the night with tears streaming down my face.
Sorry for the long wait. I hope this chapter makes up for it. The next update would be this weekend. Hope you guys have been enjoying this book so far.
