"Where do you want to eat?" He asked as we entered the mall.

"Seriously Marcus? Why are you asking me? I don't know any fast food here." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. We're walking but I don't know where exactly are we going.

"Still mad huh," he muttered.

"I'm not." I said, "Let's go to salon first," I  looked away.

"Why, do you want to dye your hair?" He asked. Now  we're walking towards to salon.

"Should I cut my hair?" I asked him instead, "what do you think?" I comb my hair using my fingers.

He suddenly stopped from walking, he faced me and his jaw dropped.

"Why? Hindi ba bagay?" I asked, matagal narin akong hindi nagpapa hair cut.

"Bakit, broken hearted ka ba?"

"Ha?! No! I-it's just... you know, ang hirap suklayin." I replied, "brokenhatred my foot. T'wing brokenhearted lang ba pwedeng magpagupit?" Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.

"Of course not,"

"You think hindi bagay, sabihin mo na. Ako lang 'to," pabiro 'kong sabi saka 'ko tumawa ng mahina.

"It's not like that Als," lumapit siya sa'kin, he put some strands on the back of my ear. "Maybe it's not the right time to cut your hair."

"Okay," naguguluhan ko siyang tiniganan, nagpatuloy narin kami sa paglakad. "Where are we going now? Hindi pa naman ako gutom."

"Malamang, makita mo palang ako busog kana e," he winked.

Napipilitan akong tumawa. "HAHAHAHAHA, nice." Hinampas ko siya sa balikat.

"Don't laugh, seryoso ako." He pouted and shook his head.

"Fine," I cleared my throat. "Punta tayo sa bookstore. I think naglabas na sila nang new books about bio," I said to change the topic. "Anyway, how's Oscar?"

"Oscar?" He looked at me.

Napatingala ako upang alalahanin ang pangalan nung aso niya. "Is that Oslo? Your welsh corgi," I referred to his dog.

"It's Oliver," he chuckled. "He's sad actually," he make face.

"Why?"

"He missed his crush," Tas bigla siyang tumawa. Huh? Nagkakaroon din pala nang crush ang mga aso.

"Really, how cute. Who is his crush then, What kind of breed?" Sabi ko nalang, sinakyan ko 'yung joke niya.

"It's a human," paliwanag niya, nilapit niya pa 'yung mukha niya sa'kin.

I didn't get what he said. I looked at him curiously and he just shrugged his shoulder.

"Huh? Is that possible?" Hindi ako makatitig ng matagal kaya umiwas ako ng tingin.

Alam niyang hindi ako komportable na gano'n siya kalapit kaya umayos na siya ng tayo. "Actually the girl beside me is his crush."

Wait. Is he referring to me?

"I'm his dad but now he's also my competitor," my bakas ng inis sa tono ng boses niya.

How cute.

"If that's the case, I choose him over you." I started to teased him.

"What?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya. "Should I send Oliver to Canada so he will no longer to see you again." Lalong nalukot ang mukha niya.

"Tss," iling ko.
