Chapter 28

Dinner with Sirius

Me and Sirius casually walk down the street into a restaurant. It was a nice restaurant but not fancy. We got directed over to a small booth table since there was a quite a number of people. We both received a menu and ordered our food. I chose a steak and salad

"So Ophelia.." Sirius suspiciously started

"Sirius..."I said with a questioning glance looking up quickly from my food

"I remember in the shack something you told me"

Oh shit..

"What?" I asked slightly terrified of what he is going to say

"Do you like any boys"

Oh god

"Like a particular one perhaps" He says leaning over on his elbows staring at me "Maybe my dead best friends son"

That's it I need to question any animal I talk to now

I hesitated not knowing to say

"So you do?" He raises an eyebrow

"Have you seen anyone lately that catches the eye" I wink

"Touchè" He smirks leaning back

"Maybe I've got a bit of you in me then" I laugh

"Maybe you do" He smiles "Be serious though do you?"

"How can I be serious when your Sirius?" I give him a big smirk

"Your slipping from being a mini Remus to a mini me slightly" He shakes his head "God your mother would smack me if she was here right now"

"True" I nod "Maybe I do have a sliiight crush on him"

"A slight?" He narrows his eyes

"Fine" I sigh "I have a big crush on him"

He claps his hands excitedly

"What?"

"My niece has just announced she had feelings for a boy"

"Get over it" I sigh pushing some loose hair back

"Oh god you might even have some James in you"

"What why?"

"You do the pushing the hair back"

"Yeah so it moves out of my face"

"What have I done" He covers his face with his hand "I'm getting paranoid thinking your just all of the marauders in one"

"Maybe I am, I have something from each of your personalities or repeated actions"

"Explain"

"I have Remus' smarts and non physical involvement in prank"

He nods

"Your sass"

He chuckled

"And James' hand movements"

"True"

We talk for a long time before we realise it's 6pm and Sirius has to walk me home before my dad starts getting stressed out that's he's murdered or kidnapped me

Once we leave the restaurant he puts an arm around my shoulder as we walk down the street

"So enjoy your day Bambi?"

"Very" I smiled up at him "Thanks for spending a day with me before I go back to school"

"Anytime and that's what uncles do" He says "Well fun uncles like me"

"Yup"

Eventually we get back home

"Hey dad" I say as we go enter through the door

"Hey sweetheart how was your day?"

"Great" I grinned

"Well I better get going now" Sirius announces. I turn around and give him a big hug

"See ya Padfoot"
