DA Meeting Again
It turns out Harry, George and Fred got banned for lifetime at Quidditch. Their brooms were confiscated which put them into even more fouler moods
However today, I think there was a slight sigh of relief, since it was another DA meeting - the last of this term
We were in the room that had been decorated by Dobby for Christmas. He had hung baubles and decorations that said 'Have a Harry Christmas'
"This elf is quite obsessed with you isn't he?" I chuckle slightly
"It's all because I freed him in second year" Harry admits taking them all down
"Which was very kind of you" I smile assisting him
"Ophelia I've been wanting-" He's then cut off by people arriving for the meeting
"Another time Harry" I smile taking a seat on the pillow
"Well" Angelina said dully pulling off her cloak and throwing it into a corner as she entered "we've finally replaced you"
"Replaced me?" said Harry blankly
"You, Fred and George" she said impatiently "We've got another Seeker!"
"Who?" said Harry quickly
"Ginny Weasley" said Katie. Harry gaped at her also looking at me
"Yeah, I know" said Angelina, pulling out her wand and flexing her arm "but she's pretty good, actually. Nothing on you, of course" she said, throwing him a very dirty look "but as we can't have you..."
"And what about the Beaters?" he asked, trying to keep his voice even
"Andrew Kirke" said Alicia without enthusiasm "and Jack Sloper. Neither of them are brilliant, but compared to the rest of the idiots who turned up..."
The arrival of Ron, Hermione and Neville brought this depressing discussion to an end. Also minutes later more of the members showed up
"OK" he said, calling us all to order "I thought this evening we should just go over the things we've done so far, because it's the last meeting before the holidays and there's no point starting anything new right before a three week break-"
"We're not doing anything new?" said Zacharias Smith, in a disgruntled whisper loud enough to carry through the room. "If I'd known that, I wouldn't have come"
"We're all really sorry Harry didn't tell you, then" said Fred loudly
"-we can practise in pairs" continued Harry "We'll start with the Impediment Jinx, for around ten minutes, then we can get out the cushions and try Stunning again"
I walked over to Neville as usual. Over the last few meetings I've been proud to watch him tremendously improving. He's become a lot more confident in himself and when we started learning stunning he managed to fling me across the room
"You first Neville" I smile
"Impendinenta" He says firing the spell at me. My body freezes for a few minutes until I regain full control again
"Good. Now my turn" I praise before firing the spell at him. Whilst he's frozen I look around the room seeing how everyone's doing
After another ten minutes of switching between the two of us Harry moves on to stunning again. We all line up the cushions for stunning. This time, instead of being in pairs, we're all together
We start going head on with each other. Ron and Hermione go head on and I see the twins looking suspicious as ever. Seconds later Hermione sends Ron flying as she beats him to say the incantation. I smirk as I watch one of the twins hand over several gallons. I laugh at the fact that they're betting over their own brother
"Who's next?" Harry questions
"Harry and Ophelia" Someone calls out. I look around trying to find who said it
"Come on guys" The twins cheered loudly with others copying
"DO IT" They then started chanting however I shut them up with a glare
"If you want to do it I don't mind" Harry smirks. I just shrug then take my place
"GO ON OPHELIA" I hear Ginny scream. I give her a warning glare before facing Harry again. We both get into position
"On three" Hermione announces "One...two...three"
The two of us both shout "Stupefy" causing our spells to collide. Unfortunately for us we're both flung backwards. Even more tragic for me I miss the mats going straight over them. I land of the cold stone floor
"Ophelia" Everyone gasps. I assume Harry made it onto the mats so he's fine. Ginny and Luna come running to my side
"You okay?"
I roll onto my back looking up at them "I'm good" I sighed "I'll only get several bruises"
Harry comes over crouching beside me looking down "Are you sure your good?"
"Don't worry Harry" I grin "The worst that could happen is that you have to deal with a very pissed of Sirius if I become greatly harmed"
