Three down, two to go

Y/N POV

Billie and I are currently driving to the Angel City Pits place. We tried to go yesterday after Maggie and Patrick said yes, but the line was hell long and Billie didn't feel like waiting forever, so we rescheduled.

"I can't believe they said yes" Billie laughed

"Me too" I laughed back

"If the begging didn't work, I was gonna fake cry" she said

"You wouldn't" I laughed

"I would" she said back looking serious

"Geez billie" I giggled

"Me and shark just have a special connection. I can feel it" she said honestly

I smiled as I gently rubbed sharks back. Janet said we had to bring him with us when we sign the papers to make sure he has all his shots and is ready to go

Billie and I listened to the soft music in the background as we drove to the place. I listened to Billie softly hum to the song that was playing on the radio. At this point, shark was sleeping. I guess the movement from the car ride really relaxed him

Skip car ride

"Okay" billie said as she pulled into a parking lot and turned her car off

"Lets go kids" she joked as she got out of the car first

Before I can even open my door, Billie came to my side and opened my door for me

"Why, thank you" I smiled

"If you sign here and there, the little guy will be yours" Janet said

Billie happily took the pen and signed her name exactly where Janet said. I watched as the pen smoothly glided across the paper.

"Thank you so much. It looks like shark has all his shots and everything. Congratulations" she smiled at Billie

"Thank you" Billie smiled back

Billie took shark from my arms and held him

"Here you go. Enjoy watching this little guy grow up" Janet smiled handing me the papers

With that, Billie, shark, and I walked back to the car, Billie holding my hand as she holds shark in the other arm

"Shark is mineee. Shark in mineee. Shark is mineee" Billie chanted as we get in her car to drive back home from

Shark is currently sitting on my lap sleeping while I gently rub behind his ears

"You're too cute" I said to Billie

She looked over at me and smiled before she started the car

"Now him and cookie can be best friends" Billie smiled

"I didn't even think about that" I laughed

"Besties" Billie laughed

I couldn't help but giggle at how cute she was. Seeing her happy over something little is really cute. I over at her and I see billie rubbing her thumb on the steering wheel as she hums to the song playing on the radio. I look down and see shark watching her with droopy eyes.

"Someone looks tired" I smiled

"He's always tired" Billie said honestly

I nodded my head agreeing with her. This dog sleeps more than cookie and cookie sleeps A LOT.

Skip the rest of the car ride

"We're homeee " Billie sings as we enter her house

"Well?" Maggie asked coming over to us

"He is officially Shark O'Connell" Billie smiled

Maggie smiled and scratched behind sharks ears

"Three down, two to go" maggie said

"Wait, three dogs are gone?" I asked confused

"Yea, cookie, Kermit, and now shark" Billie said

"Kermit left?" I asked

Billie and Maggie both nodded their heads

"Where was I?" I asked

They both shrugged as I stood there confused

"Damn, and I thought I was woke" I laughed

"I guess you thought wrong" Billie laughed

"Hmm, well I guess three down two to go" I laughed
