Y/N POV

"Billie, y/n. You girls up?" Maggie asked from outside the room

"Yup" I said as I walked over to open the door

"Good morning" Maggie said as I looked at her beautiful face

"Good morning" I smiled

"I just wanted to let you girls know that we have nothing planned for today, So get plenty of rest" she said

"Will do. Thank you" I smiled

She gave me a warm smile back before walking back to her room.

"There's nothing to do?" Billie asked as she put mascara on

"Looks like it" I smiled

"Wanna go for a walk when I'm done? Just the two of us though" She asked

"What about security?" I asked back

"Fuck security. I just want some alone time with you. I wanna spend time with you" she said

I nodded my head eagerly.

"I'm done" she said as she closed her mascara tube

"Okay" I smiled

She stood up from where she was sitting and walked over to me

"I can't wait until that ring is an engagement ring rather than a promise one" she smiled admiring the ring on my finger

"Me too" I replied with a cheeky grin

As we walked out of the hotel room, Finneas and Claudia saw us

"Oh hey" Finneas said

"Where are to two going?" Claudia asked

"For a walk" Billie replied

"Alone?" Finneas asked

"Yea" I said

"We were gonna go on a walk too. Can we come?" Claudia asked

I looked at Billie who nodded her head

"I just don't want security" she said to me

I nodded my head agreeing

We all walked out of the hotel together. Luckily there was no paparazzi waiting for us outside

"We should try and get as close to the Eiffel Tower as we can" Billie said

"Let's do it" Finneas said

We started walking in the direction of the Eiffel Tower

"Holy shit y/n" Claudia screamed

"What?" I asked

"That ring" she said

"Oh I know. Isn't it pretttyyy" I sang

"It's stunning, especially on you" she said

"That's a huge ring and I really had time to look at it because I was holding onto it for Billie" Finneas said

"You were?" I asked

He nodded

"It's just a promise ring though" I said

"Until we're ready for marriage" Billie butted in

"I can't wait until we get married" Claudia said to Finneas with a big smile

"Me too" Finneas smiled and kissed her

We continued walking in the direction of the tower until we reached a rope with a sign that read "do not go beyond this point" in French and in English

"Ah shit. That's as close as we can get?" Finneas said

"That's stupid" Billie said

We all nodded our heads in agreement

"Let's take pictures anyways though" Claudia said

We all agreed and posed. Right as we were taking pictures, paparazzi came up and took a few as well. We really didn't mind though because we expected it

"Thank you" one said in a French accent

We said you're welcome before going back to our little walk. It was nice to be able to bond more with Finneas and Claudia without being followed by security.

Billie's ear piercing ringtone is the cause for me being awake from my peaceful nap

"Bil, your phone" I said nudging her

"Hm?" She hummed

"Your phone" I repeated

It took her a minute to comprehend that her phone was ringing since she was in a deep sleep just like I once was

"Oh shit" she said

I watched as she reached over for her phone

"Hello?" She answered

"It's my manager" she mouthed

I instantly sat up. Usually when he calls like this, it's something serious

"Oh no" she said in a calm voice

"Yes I'm sure. I'm the one who gave it to her dumb ass" she said with a laugh

"It's not an engagement ring. It's a promise ring dude" she said

I looked at the ring that was on my finger with wide eyes as memories from last night were now flooding my mind. I smiled to myself knowing that she wants to marry me at some point

"Okay. I'll take a look" she said

With that, she hung up the phone

"He thought we were engaged" she laughed

"Oh shit, really?" I asked

"Yea" she laughed as she went to Instagram

"Yup look" she showed me

"Hey, it's okay. I'll just post on my sorry telling everyone it's not an engagement ring" she said gently rubbing my shoulder

"Okay" I smiled

"No big deal. Clearly they don't know what a promise ring looks like" she laughed

I nodded my head while looking down

"But I will be marrying you one day. And when I do, then they can post about the engagement ring all they want" she said with a smile

"Okay. I love you" I said leaning in to kiss her
