"Where did you girls run off to?" Maggie asked as we came out from Billies room

"We took a nap" Billie smiled

"You girls sleep a lot" Maggie said petting the dark gray dog

"That Costco run really did a toll on me" Billie laughed

"Oh yea, I bet" Maggie laughed

"They're growing up fast" Billie said as she bent down the pet the light brown dog

"I know. Time is flying" Maggie smiled

I watched as the dark gray down made his way over to Billie, craving attention from her

"Helloooo" she cheered to him

He started licking her hands and trying to bite her rings

"Hm, we have yet to name you" I said bending down to sit next to Billie

"Let's call you..." Billie thought for a moment

"Shark" she smiled

"Why shark? I think he looks more like a Octavius" Maggie said

Billie and I looked at each other

"What kind of name is Octavius?" Billie asked with a laugh

"It's cute" Maggie shrugged

"Yea billay, it's cute" I agreed

Maggie smiled at me as Billie put her hands up in a surrender

"It's shark now" she said patting him

I smiled as she interacted with all four dogs

"Aren't you very loving" Billie said scratching behind sharks ear

"He loves youuu" I said

"Wouldn't it be crazy if we kept him" Billie suddenly said

Maggie's gaze shot up and looked at Billie

"What?" Billie asked

"No" Maggie said straight up

"You're mean" Billie said in her goofy voice

"Billie" Maggie said

"I would take care of him, he would be mine" she said

"I know, but the second that dog shits, you're gonna want me to clean it up" Maggie said

"No. I'd clean in up because he'd be mine. Look how cute he is." Billie says picking him up

"Please keep me" Billie says in a different voice as if the dog is talking

Maggie turned to look at me as I watched Billie try to convince her mom to keep shark

"What about pepper? You have pepper" Maggie said

"Mom, pepper is getting old and growls at me. A lot" Billie said

I just had to laugh. Pepper did in fact growl at Billie a lot

"I don't know Billie, let me ask you dad" Maggie said

"Okay" Billie nodded

Maggie walked off into the other room to talk to Patrick I assume.

"You suck at convincing" I said honestly

"You say that now, but wait until she says shark is mine" Billie shrugs

"Billie" Maggie called out

"Come on" Billie grabbed my hand

We walked into the kitchen to be met by Patrick and Maggie standing around the counter

"Oh hey y/n" Patrick smiled

"Heyy" I smiled back

"Anyways, Billie you're not done with tour yet" Patrick said

"I know, but we only have like what six shows left or some shit. I just think it'd be good for me to have a dog of my own. I'd take care of him like the way I do pepper. PLEASEEE" Billie practically begs

Maggie and Patrick look at each other and nod

"Fine" Patrick said

"Really?" Billie asks

"But he's yours" Maggie added

"Yes, one hundred percent" Billie said

"Meaning you buy the food, clean up after him, take him on walks. Everything" Patrick said

"Done" Billie said

"Alright" Patrick said

"Okay, better go sign papers or do whatever you gotta do" Maggie said

Billie squealed I'm excitement and turned to hug me

"I suck at convincing huh?" She asked into my neck

I couldn't help but laugh into the hug

"Are you gonna come?" She asked

I looked at her confused

"To sign the papers" she said

"Oh, yea" I smiled

"Perfect" she smiled back
