There is much I want to say
But can't
Because they don't fit the image other people have of me.
I don't really understand why
Other people wish to dictate what I do
When it is my life to govern over,
Not theirs.
Why do they get to govern over a life that isn't their own?
I doubt they would like me telling them how to live their life.
Am I really that different to them?
Someone that needs to be controlled?
Someone that can't make a choice for themselves?
I am not in need of someone else controlling me.
I don't want someone else controlling me.
Why is that so hard for other people to believe?
Carol Burnett once said, "Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me."
