This feels like a battle we will never win.
We continue to move forward bit by bit,
But we are continually forced back
By the people that refuse to change.
We may not win every battle,
But we'll be damn sure to win this war.
We will survive.
We've been doing it for years, after all.
Every time someone gains even a bit more freedom,
We have won a battle.
We are rising up
And changing an entire world
And society
That has been the same for centuries.
It is an ever going fight,
But we are doing everything we can and more.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up."
