A daughter finally reunited with her mother,
Asks of her mother,
"Forgive me mother.
I was unable to come home."
Her mother smiles and takes her in her arms.
There were no words expressed between the pair.
The daughter knew what her mother felt
Without needing to hear the words,
"I love you, my dear."
After being freed of her guilt of so many years,
The daughter finally felt free again.
William Shakespeare once said, "I may neither choose who I would, nor refuse who I dislike; so is the will of a living daughter curbed by the will of a dead father."
