I'm going back to the place where we shared all our dreams,

The place we were safe.

Everyday just gets harder and harder.

I do all I can to believe that tomorrow will be any better.

I know that even if it isn't better tomorrow,

I have to keep thinking it will be better in the future.

I don't know what will happen in the future.

I don't think I want to know what will happen.

What I do know is that we'll get hurt.

We'll get hurt so, so much.

There will be times when we won't think it'll get any better.

But please, my dear,

Remember there is always be better days ahead.

T. S. Eliot once said, "Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion; it is not the expression of personality, but an escape from personality. But, of course, only those who have personality and emotions know what it means to want to escape from these things."
