Trust

You told me to trust you,

After everything you did.

You came for my heart as fast as sound.

I couldn't stand on my own.

I didn't see you as the demon you were.

But I guess my inner demons were too loud for me to notice

How much you changed in such a short amount of time.

After everything that happened,

I managed to find my rock

So in my moments of weakness,

I know who I can trust.

I thought I could trust you,

And you have no idea how wrong I was.

You turned into a devil,

When all I could see was an angel.

I admit it hurt.

A lot.

But when I need it,

I have my rock.
