Nathan's POV
"So the cafeteria is your plan for 'drastic measures'?" Zane asked.

"Hey, it's either that or starve ourselves in a room" Jane shrugged. "Anyways, it's the only option I could think of if I wanna talk to the others."

"Honestly Jane, what makes you think they'll talk to us?" Zane asked.

"I just need to start a conversation with them and let everything roll out afterwards" Jane told us. "Simple, right?"

"Nothing is simple about that" I told her.

As we entered the cafeteria, it was already starting to fill up with students. I looked around and I saw that Sofia, Xena, Emma and Isaac weren't here.

"Well, they're not here. Time to give up." Lucas went to walk into the cafeteria.

"Not so fast, Lucas." She grabbed him by the ear.

"OW, CHILL CHILL CHILL!!" Lucas tried prying her hand off of his ear but she held on tighter.

Zane started laughing at him as we followed Jane out of the cafeteria doors. She finally let go of Lucas' ear and he glared at her.

"I still want to talk to them and getting lunch is our only chance at doing that" Jane spoke.

"They could be anywhere though" Zane said. "I mean, we don't even know where they went."

"That's exactly why we shouldn't go" Lucas argued. "We don't even know them so we shouldn't be bothering them over some shit."

"Yeah, we don't know them yet, but we won't know anything until we talk to them" Jane argues.

"Well, how do you suggest we find them then?" Lucas asked.

"Earlier, I saw Emma wandering the hall, asking teachers to direct her to the library so she might be there" Jane said. "Lucas, you go get her."

"Wait, why do I have to go!?" Lucas asked.

"Because I said so." Jane put her hands on her hips. "Unless you have the balls to argue with me any further than this."

Jane squinted her eyes threateningly and Lucas just gritted his teeth at her.

"I'll take that as a no then" Jane spoke. "Now with Xena, I saw her walk into the double doors that lead to the front of the school. Zane, you check for her."

"You can count on me, Sergeant Jane." Zane did a saluting pose. "Unlike Dirt breath, I'll keep my composure and unnecessary comments to myself."

"Shut up, Eggs for Brains" Lucas retorted.

"Enough, both of you" Jane instructs. "Now onto Isaac and Sofia. I saw when they headed down the abandoned side of the school, the one with empty classrooms. But they split up at the end of the hall. So Sin, check for Sofia on the roof and I'll check for Isaac from one of the classrooms."

"Got it" I said. "Also Jane, you were showing a bit of stalking behavior that quick second."

"Did I? Oh well, this for a good cause." Jane started running down the hall. "We'll meet up in a few minutes so get moving and don't come back until they're with you."

Lucas' POV
I got in front of a double doors and opened it, revealing the old fashioned library that I stopped going to. I walked to the old, wrinkled lady at the reception desk.
