Life of an Indian Teenage Girl

True friendship

Like I said in the very beginning I've never really had much luck in friendships.
But there is this one girl called Myra who has stayed with me forever. She was born just the day after me.
Our parents told us that we were born in the same hospital too. Turns out our parents knew each other even before we were born. So this is how I think they met according to the little stories I've heard by eavesdropping:
My pregnant mom was waiting for a cab after shopping and was on her way home when she sees another pregnant lady standing next to her.
She didn't think much of it and got in the taxi she hailed and let the lady enter too since she was pregnant.
My mom said her address and they realize that they live in the same building. Then they talk throughout the cab ride and become friends.
Then they went into labor in the same hospital and their children were born just a day apart.
I believe it was destiny that bought them together and it was destiny that bought me and Myra together. Even after so many other friendships I can never forget our friendship.
