A small smile formed on Konan's lips as she heard the familiar footsteps of someone who could only be Yuna, the smallest and lightest member in the Akatsuki. She knew the kitsune would be coming to visit her before she left.

The kyuubi had always made it a point to visit Konan and Pain outside of official Akatsuki business. There were two soft knocks on the kunoichi's door, before silence.

“Come in.” The woman turned just in time to feel to arms snake their ways around her middle and the head of their owner rest against her bosom. She let her arms fall around the Kyuubi, stroking the back of her head. “Hello Yuna.”

The nine tailed beast chirped in greeting, looking up at the older shinobi with large crimson eyes. Though the two were roughly the same height(when Konan doesn't wear her heels), the kyuubi always made it seem like she hadn't grown in the last two and a half years. Making herself over a foot shorter by crouching.

“I don't suppose Pain told you I had something to give you?” She inquired teasingly, the look in Yuna's eyes told her she was correct, not that she didn't think he had already.

An adorable blush rose to the demon's cheeks as she smiled sheepishly, not wanting the ame-nin thinking she'd only come to see what Konan had for her. “Leader-sama may have mentioned it..” She said quietly, stepping back and holding her hands behind her, rocking on the heels of her feet.

The bluette couldn't help but laugh a little, ruffling the kyuubi's hair, before turning to her closet. She could feel Yuna's gaze on her as she tried to see what she was getting. The older woman could hide the smile, that had been on her face since Yuna entered, anymore than one could hide the sky.

She picked up a box, that was around two feet in length and width and maybe a foot in height. She turned to the redette, who now was practically screaming with curiosity. “I think you'll like it.”

Yuna waited patiently as the kunoichi placed the box on the edge of her bed, beckoning for the crimson beast to open it. The demon was sure it was more dresses, Konan loved getting her new kimono every chance she got.

To the kyuubi's surprise, what was inside was not a kimono. She lifted the top piece of cloth, turning it as she observed it. It was a robe that looked nearly the same as Konan's. Though her's was visibly shorter, where Konan's went past her knees, Yuna's looked to stop just above her knees, and unlike Konan's hers had long sleeves that connected to the fabric around her neck, covering her shoulders as well.

Yuna couldn't help but feel this was Konan's way of expressing their family bond. “It's perfect.” She said, hugging the woman. Though she knew Itachi probably wouldn't let her take her cloak off if she wore it, since like Konan's it would exposed her back, the lateral part of her breast, and her stomach.

The blue haired kunoichi couldn't help but cradle the kyuubi to her, but found herself releasing her. “There's still more in the box.”

The kitsune nodded, going to find three more of the same robe, along with three pairs of black pants and white high heels. She gave the woman an odd look. “But these are against the dress code..” She said quietly, knowing Leader would never allow her to wear such things, making her slightly sad.

Konan 'psh'd, waving her hand. “I've been wearing the same thing since before you were born. If he has something to say, he can come talk to me.” She said, before waving the Kitsune to continue.

Yuna looked back at the box, how much did she pack into this seemingly small box? She pulled back the tissue paper, her eyes going wide as she stared down into the box, now understanding why it seemed so deep.

Konan giggled softly at the look on her face. “Itachi placed a special request, seems our little kyuubi was tired of eating healthy.”

Before she'd even blinked, Yuna had tackled her in a hug, nearly squeezing the life from her. “Thank you thank you thank you!” She exclaimed.

After the initial shock of being pounced, Konan nodded her head, stroking Yuna's hair. Her amber gaze going to the box half full of instant cup ramen. “Now just because you have it, doesn't mean I'm going to let you get away with only ramen. I want you to eat decent meals in between.”

Yuna didn't even argue, a giant smile displayed on her face. Konan had no idea how much she sounded like a mother just then, or how happy it made Yuna to have her act like a mom to her. “I will.” She promised.

They both pulled away, Konan sweeping Yuna's hair out of her face. “Well come on, let's see if they fit.” She said, handing the kyuubi a set of her new clothes along with the white heels.

The kitsune smiled, going to the woman's private bathroom. She pulled on the clothes easily, she looked at herself in the mirror. A small blush rising on her cheeks, maybe there was a good reason why her mind told her Itachi wouldn't let her wear it on it's own.

Her entire back was revealed, and Konan had made a hole a few inches from where the fabric started for her tails to go through. She zipped up the robe all the way, glad at least her breast were covered. Though where the cloth parted to reveal her stomach was a little higher than on Konan's. When she turned to the side, anyone could see all over her breast's lateral.

She was happy the sleeves were long, acting as a second skin to her arms before flaring out at her wrist, and stopping at her knuckles. The best part of the outfit was probably that it covered the nasty scar Sasuke's chidori had left over her heart. She wouldn't have to wear bandages over it anymore, she realized.

Yuna unzipped the top, pulling it open so she could see the disgusting mark. Only Itachi and Leader-sama had ever seen it. She doubted anyone, except maybe Konan, knew it even existed. Her hand gently traced over the flesh, though she felt no physical pain, the kyuubi flinched, remembering the pain.

She'd made a silent vow to return the favor and give Sasuke a scar to match hers, if it didn't kill him. She dearly hoped it did, but at the same time that it wouldn't. Shaking the thought aside, Yuna rezipped her robe, and went out to show Konan.

The woman gasped as she laid eyes on the crimsonette, taking in her appearance, she stood. The only difference between them now was their hair, eyes, skin color, Yuna's facial markings and ears and tails, and Konan's piercings.

The ame-nin smiled, hugging the kitsune. “I always wanted a daughter.” She said quietly.

Yuna wasn't sure if she was supposed to hear her, but her warmed at the thought, her hold on the kunoichi tightening. She'd never had a mother, and she wasn't about to let her go, not now not ever.
