Hi everyone. I'm sure you all know what's going on in the world right now, but I have a platform here and I want to use it.
White privilege is real, I recognise my privilege. I have never been afraid or been denied something because of my skin colour. I understand that I will never understand, however, I stand with you.
I am so proud of everyone standing up for what's right. For getting out there, protesting, using your voices and saying enough is enough. Change isn't easy and it doesn't come quietly.
Don't stop talking about these issues because it's no longer 'trendy'. The time for change is now. And I'm devastated that it has taken the life of George Floyd for people to start seeing the problem. However, I am hopeful that what we are seeing is the beginning of a massive change that is very much needed.
