They moved the girl into one of the rooms next to mine.
I asked a nurse if I could visit her.
I walked into her room.
She was asleep.
Or maybe she was in a coma.
The clipboard on her bed said Emma.
I set the white notebook on her nightstand and wrote her name on it in sharpie.
