Seokjin's POV -

I'm actually excited for dance practice today.

Well, I know it's odd, since I'm not the best dancer, but I've finally been given a solo in our new single, and I'm really excited about it. The members have been cheering me on, and Hoseok and Jimin have been giving me extra coaching.

Both of them can be a little frightening when they go into teacher mode. Jimin has a very quick temper, which can be scary when he loses it, as he gets right in your face. He's small, but he's extremely firey, and will be tempted to throw some hands if he really gets annoyed. Hoseok, on the other hand, isn't likely to lose his temper, but he has a huge perfectionist streak. If you don't do it to his standard, he'll make you do it again and again until it feels like my feet will fall off. He doesn't understand it, though, because dancing is his passion.

I prefer them both over our dance instructor, though. His temper is even quicker than Jimin's, and, though it looks like he may give you a smack, he tends to use his words. He gets very personal, and can drag you down until you're nothing.

We've had the same instructor since we began BTS. At the beginning, we put in complaints about him, as our mental health was already at an all time low, and him being so beseeching and horrible to us all the time wasn't helping. I often argue that he helped feel Jimin's weight issues, since that would be the first thing he mentioned. PDnim refused to fire him, though, and told us that we would learn to appreciate him over time.

And we did. He's an excellent, very skilled instructor, and he can put his money where his mouth is. We would honestly be screwed without him. Outside of dance, he's become a pretty good friend, as his temper doesn't fray outside of work, and he's really helped us become the skilled professionals we are.

So you're thinking, why are you so excited for dance again? Because the instructor isn't going to be here today. Yes, I just said he's a good friend, but, he's really been dragging me low with this solo. I know he's doing it so I can be my best, but, with it being my first solo, and my dancing already being a 'joke' amongst the fans, I've been feeling a little sensitive. Dance with Jimin and Hoseok leading me sounds like bliss.

I wake up feeling sore, but that's pretty normal, since we're leading 10 hour dance sessions every day until the album drops. I get myself up, dressed, and down for breakfast as usual, having banter with the boys, then we head to the studio together.

Usually, the stiffness wears off as I start to warm up, but my body stays sore and achy. I don't worry, since it's my first solo, and I'm working extra hard to be up to scratch.

Jimin comes up behind me and pats my shoulder gently. "We're gonna warm up, run through some songs, then go through the new ones and work out where everyone needs improving, then Hoseok and I will work with you, okay?"

I nod my head. We've been on the new choreo for just over a week, so I pretty much know all of the moves, but I'm still stiff and out of time with the others. "Is Namjoon joining in when you help me? He's been pretty stuck, too."

"No, Jungkook is going to try to be his teacher, so we can focus on you."

"You're making me feel much worse that I actually am."

Jimin laughs, giving my arm another pat. "Come on, hyung. You're not a bad dancer, don't call yourself that. We only want to help because this is your first solo, and I know how badly you don't want to mess it up. Plus, we've been watching the instructor dig into you. It's not fair, hyung. You're working so hard, and he's so mean. It's almost like back to our debut days. I just want to give him a shock, make him eat his words."

I smile fondly at him. "Thanks, Jimin. It means a lot."

He frowns suddenly. "Hyung, you look pale. Are you feeling alright?"
