Chapter 185: The panic sets in

Aizawa's POV:

I was lying on the couch, warm all wrapped up in four blankets and Melody sleeping peacefully on top of me. Hizashi was sweeping so then Y/N wouldn't have to when she gets back from hero duty. Just as I was about to fall asleep, Hizashi asked as he stopped sweeping, "Hey, Sho?"

I grumbled about it silently before I mumbled, "What is it?"

"Shouldn't Y/N be back by now?" he asked.

I opened an eye to look at the clock, "Yeah, she should."

"Text her and see what's up." he suggested.

I didn't want to because my phone was too far to get, which was on the coffee table. "I'm too comfy...you do it." I said, making an excuse.

"Fine." he said under his breath as he pulled out his phone and began to text Y/N.

Once he finished with that, he went back to sweeping and I tried to fall asleep. Shortly later I was startled awake by my phone ringing. As I sat up to grab it, I noticed that Hizashi's phone was ringing too. He answered it first before me. Once I picked it up, I noticed that it was from Y/N.

"Hello." I answered the phone in a tired tone.

The voice on the other side surprised me, so I was no longer tired. It wasn't Y/N at all; not even close. It said, "If you ever want to see Blank ever again, we want to have the three most powerful students from class 1-A of UA high in exchange for UA's youngest pro hero and number one hero. If we do not receive the three students by the first of next month, don't expect Blank to make it out alive." The other side of the line then hung up.

I slowly dropped my hand that held the phone down to my lap as I slowly turned my head to look at Hizashi. I could tell by the look on his face that he too got the phone call. We just stared at each other for a minute as we tried to comprehend what just happened. Before one of us could say something, I got a phone call from Yagi.

I answered it, but before I could say anything, he asked in a frantic tone, "Did you get a phone call about someone asking for three students in exchange for Y/N?"

"Yeah."

"Well, Midoriya messaged me saying that he too got the phone call and that no one else did." he added.

I said under my breath, "God dammit." I paused to sigh out of a mixture of frustration and worry before I continued, "Should we get the agency involved? I know that Y/N would want to keep this on the down low so let's keep it that way for as long as we can."

"Right, that's what I was thinking." he agreed.

I stood up from the couch as I said, "Let's meet at the agency, get Midoriya to go too."

"I'm already here at UA since I had something to take care of."

I began to walk to mine and Hizashi's room to get ready, which he began to follow me with a frantic expression, I said, "Good, get him and bring him along."

"Alright, I will; see you then."

"Yeah." I said before we hung up and I tossed my phone onto the bed.

I let out another sigh before Zashi asked me, "I take it we're going to the agency?"

"Yeah." I said as I gathered up my hero costume.

He too began to get ready as soon as I said that. I got ready before him, but he got done in a quicker manner than what he usually does. As soon as he finished, we got in the car and made our way to the agency. The roads were really busy, so it took longer to get to the agency. While we were stopped in traffic Zashi asked me in a worried tone, "Are we going to be able to find Y/N in time? I understand that at the agency they have the technology, but it still takes a while to process the information and to line it up with other information, you know?"
