I woke up at eight and got ready in my hero costume which consisted of a hoodie and jeans for the last time. I stared at my outfit as I wondered what my new one would look like. I packed up what I had in my backpack and absorbed it into my left shoulder so then I wouldn't have to carry it. I then left the bathroom to put on my boots. I passed Aizawa and Yamada, who were still sleeping, and put on my boots before I left, making no noise as I done so. I then left the hotel and noticed that Chikao was sitting on the same bench as before.

He stood up with a smile as he said, "Good morning; how did you sleep?"

"I slept pretty well." I replied as I slipped my hands into my hoodie pocket.

We began walking to the lab as he said, "That's good to hear." then looked behind us before asking, "Aren't the other two going to come along?"

"They're going to explore the island while I'm off doing my thing; I'll be meeting up with them afterwards though."

All he said was, "Okay." He didn't say anything for a while, but I noticed that something was on his mind. I didn't know him too well, so I didn't say anything, but I didn't need to since he asked after a while in a shy tone, which felt odd to hear him say in such a tone, "I was wondering if I could get to know you more. Not as a hero, but just a regular person. You seem pretty cool and I was wondering if we could be friends?" he paused before adding as he put his hand on the back of his neck, "I don't really have any since I was always in a higher grade than those my age, so I was always the youngest. I was never able to make friends cause of the age gap. I mean, yeah I have people around here that I can laugh and joke with, but they're adults, nowhere really close to my age. I have to act mature and not talk about things that interest me that normally does for others my age."

I looked up to him and noticed that he was trying to hide his red face. I gave the best warm smile I could do and said, "I don't see why we couldn't be friends. You seem like a cool person too, so I don't understand why no one would want to be your friend." His face turned even redder, so I began to giggle a little.

"What are you laughing at?" he asked, looking at me from the corner of his eye.

I wore a smile as I said, "Oh nothing." which he then hummed with discontent.

After his face returned back to it's normal color, he asked, "So...umm...could we exchange phone numbers?" then added quickly and nervously, "We don't have to if you don't want to! We could do Emails instead!"

I smiled again, "It's fine, we could do phone numbers." I said as I pulled my phone out. He then took his out quickly and we traded numbers. As we put our phones away, I said with a smirk and in a low tone, "Alright, now don't tell anyone that you have Blanks phone number."

"I promise on my life that I will never!" he said in a tone that clearly told me that he meant it, so I giggled at it too, which his face turned red again.

'Since when am I making his face turn red? Last time it was the other way around.'

Maybe he realized how he feels.

'What do you mean?'

What do you mean, "what do you mean"? How stupid are you?! Can't you see that-...

'Can't I see what?'

You know what? I'll let you figure it out on your own.

'Whatever. Be that way.'

I will.

I asked, "So, did you grow up here on the island?"

"Nope, I grew up in Musutafu. My family is still there. I go back once in a while; mainly holidays or something like that, but otherwise I don't leave the island." he explained before asking in return, "How about you? Not to sound rude, but you don't exactly look Japanese and your name doesn't sound like it is of Japanese origin either."
