After I healed mentally from the mission, nothing exciting happened; everything went on as usual. Some days it was beyond boring while others were kinda fun. It wasn't until a few months later that we finally did something fun. I knew everything about it pretty much since I was going as a hero tagging along as protection since the school didn't want to take chances like before with the USJ arena. Aizawa told the class that if anyone doesn't pass their exams, no one can go on the trip. Even though some didn't pass, we all were able to still go. As soon as we were told that, Toru suggested that we all go shopping to the mall as a class before we went on the trip. A few days before the trip we went shopping.

I woke up at eight so I could get ready in my usual clothing; black jeans and a burgundy hoodie that had black roses on the sleeves. I walked down to the kitchen as Melody graciously followed behind me. She is now nearly fully grown, even though the vet said that she is full grown, she's still quite small to be called that. Well, even if she is, I'm fine with her being a little smaller; it's cuter. Anyways, her fur had gotten longer which made her look majestic as if she was a show cat that won hundreds of blue ribbons.

When I walked out of the short hallway, she ran past me and jumped onto the counter that separates the kitchen from the dining-room. "You shouldn't be up there." I said to Melody in a whisper so then I wouldn't wake Aizawa or Yamada since they were still sleeping. When I went to pick her up off of the counter, she walked forward and onto my shoulder, so she had her front paws on my shoulder while I had to hold her rear. She was then content while I walked through the kitchen and into the pantry to remember that it was a day that I wasn't going to eat. I then walked back out as I closed the door with my free hand. I looked at the time and saw that I should make my way to the mall. I picked Melody off of my shoulder and sat her on the sofa, then felt around in my pocket for some money. I found a few yen which would be enough since I planned on buying nothing much unless it was dirt cheap.

I walked to the door and tied up my high-tops, took my apartment key off of the hook by the door and waved a little wave to Melody, who was perched on the back of the sofa, and left. As soon as I opened the door I was punched in the face by the heat.

'Fuck, I hate hot weather! Why couldn't it be winter!'

I whined on and on to myself about the heat. Once I couldn't bare it anymore I used a quirk to lower my body temp so the heat would be more tolerable since I was wearing a hoodie and jeans. After walking forever I finally met up with everyone else.

"Hey, Y/N!" Midoriya yelled to me as he waved. I waved back with a small smile.

When I joined the group, Uraraka asked me, "Isn't it a little too hot for hoodies?"

"Nope, well, it kinda is. I lowered my body temperature so it doesn't seem as hot." I explained.

Pretty much just as soon as I finished my explanation, everyone went their own separate ways in a blink of an eye.

"I guess it's just you and I." Midoriya said as we watched everyone scatter to the stores they wanted to go to.

Once everyone was out of sight, I said, "If you want you can go on ahead, I'll catch up in a bit; I'm going to go to the restroom."

"It's fine, I'll wait here." He said as he sat down on a bench.

"Alright, it'll only be a sec." I said before walking to the bathroom. Man, it was crowded. It felt like it took an hour to get there and back to Midoriya. When I met back up with him, I said, "Hey, I'm back. Sorry for the wait." as I was just on the other side of the round bench with a planter in the middle.

As I got closer to him, I saw around the planter that someone was sitting next to him with their hand around Midoriya's neck. They both looked at me. Midoriya had the look of terror on his face while the other, who looked quite familiar, wore a calm expression. I decided that the best idea was that I should play along with them.
