(Note: This does not take place during the regular story; this is just a little story of its own)

I was woken up by my alarm on my phone at eight, but I shut it off and fell asleep again and didn't wake until a little after eleven. I was then woken up by Yamada coming in my room and blaring music.

"Come on, Y/N! You can't sleep all day! Not today!"

I covered my head with my pillow, "But why? It's just a normal day for me, I don't have to go on patrol and there's no school. Now, let me sleep."

He sounded shocked, "What! How do you not know what today is?!"

Aizawa must have made his way to my room too since he hollered, "Shut up!"

Yamada then said quietly after he shut off his music, "Sorry, Sho." I then heard footsteps go out of my room, so I imagined that it was Aizawa who left. I got out of bed since I figured that I wouldn't be able to fall asleep again, and made my way slowly down the spiral staircase. "I have a surprise for you!"

I squinted my eyes as I said, "Will it allow me to go to sleep?"

"What?" he asked confused. "No, you'll see when you go downstairs." He then quickly asked, "Why are you so determined to sleep?"

Not wanting to say my reason for wanting to sleep all day, I said, "No reason."

He then said as he walked towards the door, "Whatever, just hurry down so you can get your present!"

I grumbled as I walked into the bathroom and did my hair after I changed into a black and red hoodie along with black skinny jeans. I then walked out of my room and stopped when I got to the railing to see that Aizawa was lying on the sofa while Yamada was at the table, sitting behind a flat box.

"Why are you so excited about Y/N getting her present? You could have waited until she woke up instead of you barging in." Aizawa said as he petted Melody, who was laying on his stomach.

"If she's anything like you, she probably wouldn't have woken up until the new year." Yamada replied.

Aizawa waved his free hand in the air as he said, "She may have her reasons for sleeping so much."

"Yeah, like what?"

"I don't know? Reasons?" Aizawa remarked.

Yamada sighed, "That's what she said earlier." I walked down the stairs and out of the entryway. "There you are! Here! Open it!"

I walked to the table as Aizawa sat up carefully, trying not to disturb Melody too much. I took a seat on my usual chair as Yamada pushed the fairly large, yet flat box, towards me. I pulled it closer to me before opening it carefully. I took the lid off of the box and folded the tissue paper back, which revealed a black cloth with red flowers that were outlined in gold.

"It's pretty, I love the colors." I paused, "But what is it?" I asked, trying to not seem rude.

Aizawa laughed as Yamada explained with a smile, "It's a kimono."

"Why do I need one?" I asked.

"It's for tonight when we go to the new year's festival that's in the next town over. Here, take it out and see if it'll fit." Yamada suggested.

Aizawa laid back down as he said, "Of course it will."

I took it out to get a better look at it. It was something that I wasn't used to, so I was very gentle with handling it. "You know, you don't have to hold it as if it's made out of glass." Yamada said with a smirk.

"I don't want to wreck it." I said in a careful tone.

He chuckled, "You won't, trust me. Now, go try it on. We'll have to leave in a few hours because it takes a while to get to the town."
