Many days passed and I hadn't heard anything about the votes and such. I was relieved that I didn't hear anything cause I figured I wasn't chosen or put any further in the running. I woke up one day for school in a slightly better mood since I had that sense of relief of not being that well known anymore since my name started to fade in the public. I got out of bed rather faster than usual and fed Melody before getting ready in my uniform and such. I went down to the sofa in the living room and waited there as usual. I for some reason wasn't tired at all, so sleeping time away wasn't an option. I pulled out my phone and occupied myself that way as I waited to leave. They both then walked out of their room at the usual time, which I then got up off of the sofa and went to the door to put my shoes on. Yamada then joined Aizawa and I by the door as he handed me my lunch. Every day that he handed my lunch to me, I couldn't help but think that it'll be their fault when I get fat (as if I already wasn't).

We then got in the car and began our little jaunt to school. When we got there, I strangely felt a sense of dread. I couldn't put my finger on the reason why I had that feeling, but I figured that something was going to happen sometime in the day or the near future. It seemed like ever since I used my future vision quirk again, I now felt emotions that I will have in the future; such as what I felt then- dread. I went to the classroom and waited for class to begin. Oddly Iida didn't come into the classroom until Midoriya walked in, which then their whole group circled around my desk.

"Hey, Y/N, I heard that the position for the number one hero is going to be voted in instead of going by rank. Your name is on the final ballot for voting!" Midoriya said excitedly.

"Is it? I didn't think I'd get that far." I said.

'There it is. That's where the sense of dread comes in.'

"My brother was going to be in the running in it, but he declined the offer at his station." Iida said.

"Why would he do that? Who doesn't want to be the number one hero?" Uraraka asked as if his brother was crazy.

'Me! I don't!'

He then replied, "Ever since he was injured he has been trying to stay out of the spotlight and crowds."

"I see." she said as if she was thinking.

Midoriya then changed the subject slightly back to the first topic, "I heard that it was a hard run since only one person from each agency is going to be on the final vote along with the top ten other heroes."

"Is it?" I asked, "I can't seem to wrap my head around it that I've gotten this far."

"It's exciting to have a fellow classmate who has a chance at becoming the number one hero, let alone having you be the youngest hero there is already." Iida said with a smile.

"Yeah, it honestly makes us feel safer since we have someone like you around all the time since villains seem to keep on popping up." Uraraka said in a happy tone with her usual bright smile.

I tried to give a good smile as Midoriya said, "We're rooting for you, Y/N! If I was able to vote for the next top hero, I'd vote for you."

"I would too so then my father doesn't get a chance at receiving that rank." Todoroki said in his normal monotone voice.

"I'm glad to hear that at least a few people are cheering me on. I haven't put much thought towards it since I didn't hear anything for a while, so I figured that my name was crossed off the list." I said.

Our conversation was cut short due to class starting. We had a test during the first half along with a few assignments, but I was able to finish them all since they were so easy for me. When lunch rolled around, I was asked to join the rest for lunch, but I kindly declined and stayed in the classroom since the wretched feeling of dread had worsened. I took my lunch out of my backpack and began to eat it as I looked out the window, watching the leaves dance in the wind as it blew them to and fro. I was then interrupted by Toshinori walking in.
