"You really are going to stay down here with it...aren't you." Yamada said as he packed up the last of his papers since he finished correcting them.

I then said as I got settled, "Yep, I brought her here, now I have to take care of her."

"At least she's being responsible." Aizawa said as he walked to their room.

Yamada covered a yawn as he followed, "Yeah, I suppose you're right." The door closed behind him, which left me alone next to the precious little ball of fur.

While I sat there, I pulled out my phone and watched videos on it until my eyes got too heavy to keep them open any longer. But before I fell asleep, I took off my blanket cause I started to get hot since I was next to the heat lamp. I manipulated the blanket so then it would act as a pillow, then laid down. I was then woken by the sound of running footsteps. I quickly sit up and open my eyes. Just before the front door closed I saw Yamada go running. I then look down and notice that Melody was on my lap instead of in her bed and that I was now covered by a blanket.

'I didn't have a blanket covering me when I fell asleep...right?'

I pull my phone out of my pocket and look at the time; it's 11:23 AM. I put my phone down on the floor and mess with my hair but then settled with tucking it behind one ear. I sat there for a while cause, ya know, when a cat falls asleep on your lap you must not move. While I sat there, Aizawa came out of their room.

"Did Yamada get called in?" I asked Aizawa as he rubbed sleep from his eyes while he walked to the kitchen. When I asked him, he jumped a little.

"God, Y/N, I forgot you were down here." he said as he turned to me.

Though I didn't want to, I brought Melody to her bed and left her there while I stood up. "Sorry."

He waved his hand, "No, it's fine, I should have remembered." He then stuffed his hands into his pockets, "Anyways, yes, he was called in. I'm sort of glad that I wasn't called in. I'm worn out and tired."

I said jokingly, "Aren't you always."

He turned back towards the kitchen and started walking, "I suppose you're right about that."

I walked to my room so I could change into new sweatpants and a new hoodie. After that I took a quick shower. Once I finished freshening up, I walked back down. When I got to the living room I noticed that Melody was no longer in her bed. I looked towards the kitchen and I saw that Aizawa was smiling faintly at his feet. He then bent down behind the counter. I could hear him murmuring something but I wasn't sure what. I walked over to see what he was doing. When I got close enough, I saw that he was sitting on the floor playing with Melody. She was rolling around and jumping; it was so cute. Out of nowhere, she got a burst of energy and ran out of the kitchen and under the table in the dining room, then under the sofa, towards the door, then back out to where Aizawa and I were now standing.

"She's so cute!" I said as I covered my mouth since I was smiling pretty big.

He too smiled a little smile, "Yeah, she is...We should see if she's hungry. Them little ones need all the food they can get since she's so young, ya know."

"Yeah, I'll get a bottle ready if you want to catch her." I asked.

"Alright." He then tried to catch Melody, who was still running around and out of nowhere jumping like a rabbit.

I walked to the table where the bags from the pet store still lay. I dug around for the kitten formula and found a few in no time. I prepared three this time instead of two. It wasn't until a few minutes after I warmed up the milk that he caught Melody. When he walked over to me with the little ball of fire, I handed him one of the bottles.
