As I continued to stir, I looked over my shoulder as I said, "You don't have to." He didn't say anything, just put his hands together as if he was begging. "Are you sure?" He just nodded his head. I looked back to what I was stirring, "Fine." After I turned off the burner, and turned to grab a mug, I saw that Shinso was talking to Aizawa. I then poured the mixture into the mug and rinsed out the pot before setting it in the sink upside down. I turned around and walked to the table as I carried the mug.
As I pulled the mask down, Shinso showed me his phone again, "If you want, you can wait here since it'll be done in a little bit. It doesn't take long to make." I then nodded my head before he put his phone into his pocket and walked to the kitchen.
I sighed before I took a sip of the drink. It didn't taste too bad at all actually. I then pulled out my phone and decided that I was going to delete pictures that weren't needed on my phone and to clean it up a little. I guess that I had more in my camera roll than I thought cause by the time that I was about a fourth of the way done, Shinso brought over three bowls and spoons. As he pushed a bowl towards me I put my phone away. I looked up to say thank you, but before I could say anything I noticed that he signed, "Careful, it will be hot."
I smiled as I said, "You know sign language?" He wrinkled his nose and looked down sort of as he shook his head. "Well thank you anyways." He then nodded his head as he sat down.
As I picked up my spoon, Aizawa walked to the table and sat down. They began to eat while I took another sip of the tamago-zake. After I had a few scoops of the okayu, I sneezed again as I was going to take another bite. As I tensed up, my spoon hit my nose, coating it in porridge. I sighed as I dropped the spoon into the bowl and got up to go to the kitchen to get a napkin to clean my nose. When I turned around and began to walk back to the table, I noticed that Shinso was laughing. I gave him a glare as I sat back down, which he noticed and stopped laughing instantly, causing Aizawa to then grin.
When we got done eating, I cleaned up the table and brought the dishes to the sink. As I was running the water and paying attention to it, someone tapped my shoulder again. My reflexes got the better of me and made me spin around to try and punch whoever it was. Aizawa caught my fist before I was able to actually hit him. He let my fist go so he could sign, "I'll do the dishes. You can head to bed and rest. You need it if you're ever going to get over that cold."
I turned around to shut off the water as I said, "Alright; sorry for almost punching you." I turned back around, "I'm sort of on edge since I can't hear my surroundings."
"You'll be on edge for a while, but hopefully you get your hearing back soon." he signed before he went to grab a rag.
I began to walk away as I said, "Thanks for doing the dishes. I'll do them tomorrow no matter how I feel."
When I got up to my room, I right away went to bed. I fell asleep pretty fast, but I was only able to sleep for about five hours before I woke up again. I checked my phone and noticed that I had a text already from Yamada.
Yamada: How are you feeling?
Me: I'm alright...I just woke from a nap and I'm feeling a little better, but then again I had two different things to help with the cold. Also I'm not sure if Aizawa texted you, but Shinso's going to be over for the weekend.
A couple minutes later he replied.
Yamada: It's good to hear that you're feeling a little better. Thanks for letting me know cause no one told me about him being over.
As I was reading the text, I noticed that a light was on elsewhere in my room. I sat up and scooted to the foot end of my bed. I saw that the TV was on and that someone was sitting on the sofa. "Shinso?" I asked in a careful tone. The person then lifted up a side of their headphones and sat there. I could see their mouth move so I knew that they said something. "Is that you?" I asked. The person then turned around and sat the headphones along with something else down on the sofa before walking towards the spiral staircase. I could see that they were typing something on their phone, so I knew that it was Shinso.
Once he was by my bed, he turned his phone towards me, "Sorry, did I wake you? I was playing a video game. I hope that's alright. I was going to ask but you were already asleep and I didn't want to wake you just to ask."
"It's fine, you didn't wake me. You can continue to play the game, it's alright; I just didn't know who you were at first." I said.
He then erased what he had typed so then all that there was on screen was, "Sorry."
"It's fine."
He then left as he tucked his phone back into his pocket. I then laid back down and fell asleep again after I set a timer to record Yamada's broadcast.
