INCUBUS | FORTY-SIX

Today was saturday means fanxing don't have a class, he immediately ran downstairs and find his uncle Zhuocheng.

He heard a noise coming from the kitchen as he immediately went there and saw his uncle Zhuocheng preparing their lunch.

"I want to know what happened to the baby."

Zhuocheng frozed from his spot as he heard his nephew's voice, he looked at fanxing.

"You don't have to know what happened next. You only asked about the story of incubus not about the baby." Zhuocheng said and continue what he was doing.

"Then I'll ask zhan-ge." Fanxing said but Zhuocheng stops him.

"He will freak out where do you hear that story." Zhuocheng said as he glared at fanxing.

"I already know."

Both of them suddenly unable to moved from where they are as they heard the voice.

"Zhan...."

"Why can't you keep your mouth shut A-cheng?" Xiao zhan chuckled as he went to the kitchen to get some water and drinks it.

"I was pretending I didn't heard anything everytime I went home from work." Xiao zhan added as he puts his glass to the sink.

Luckly, Zhuocheng already finished making pancakes or else it will become the reason why their house suddenly catches on fire.

"Fanxing, why are you so curious? Do you really want to know what happened to him?" Xiao zhan asked fanxing who was looking down.

"Then I will tell you what happened to that baby."

A silence suddenly created around them.

"I didn't killed him or died for I realized his father was protecting him since he was still a fetus, that's why I can't abort him." Xiao zhan chuckled again as he move his head sideways.

Xiao zhan leaned on the counter as he crossed his arms on his chest and stared at fanxing who was still looking down.

"I don't know why his father suddenly protected him from danger if he ran away after everything happened. I gave up on planning to make him disappeared and watched him grow in front of my eyes until I can finally accept him as my child but I'm afraid what will he react if he found out that his father was a demon so I make raise him and make him lived with lies." Xiao zhan said as he blinked his tears away, he regretted everything.

"I--I make him believed that his mother abandoned him and make a fake documents about him. I-im just a-afraid...."

"Do you know who is him?" Xiao zhan said as fanxing look at him.
