"Richard has Belle." I roar, punching the wall furiously. “He is a fucking dead man!"
I take out the gun that was nicely tucked and when Lee tries to stop me, my fist connects furiously with his jaw. He swallows dryly swaying his head to absorb the pain and he swiftly grabs my gun before he shoves me carelessly to the floor and I end up hitting my head on the wall.
“What the fuck, Lee!” I groan painfully struggling to stand up but Lee kicks me back to the ground again.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Lee shouts at me. “Are you on a fucking suicide mission? You think you can take him down on your own?” I am too blinded by rage to think straight.
Maybe Jeremy was right, I am the impulsive one.
"We have a plan, Lucas. Don't you fucking ruin that for all of us." Keith shouts at me after confirming that Nick and Liz will be fine. Jessica called the 911 and the paramedics are already attending to them plus Jake is on his way to the hospital. Nick was shot twice on the left thigh and Liz was shot in the abdomen.
"He has Belle and he is going to hurt her." I tell him and he shakes his head probably cussing me. He is a little bit on the edge.
I know how much Keith loves his kid brother and this must be extremely hard for him. Hell, it’s hard for all of us, Richard keeps fucking us hard and he keeps earning himself new enemies. Keith just joined the club.
"Richard won't hurt Belle, at least not for now. He is using her as a leverage, asshole." That’s Jeremy. Everybody is pissed at me, even Jer. “He is going to kill her, but that’s after you reject his offer or after you marry Lily. Either way he is going to kill her.”
"Don’t underestimate Richard.” I tell them. “He can still kill Belle and kidnap Jeremy.” No matter what they tell me I know she is not safe as long as he has her.
“You need to calm the fuck down, we can’t save her if we work individually. She is my daughter and I want to save her as much as you do but we can’t just attack.” Gilbert tells me. “Richard is not stupid.”
“I will marry Lily and save Belle and then kill Lily on our honeymoon.” Of course, that’s a joke but I suck at it.
I chose Lily to save Belle’s life three years ago and we all know how it ended. I can’t go down that road again. I would rather die fighting for our love.
“Richard will kill Belle right after you sign the damn certificate, what happened to you? You used to be smart.” Lee tells me as he offers to help me up but I swat his hand away.
"We need another plan." I tell them trying to grab my gun from Lee but he holds on it tighter daring me to take it if I think I am strong.
"We don't need another plan, we need some leverage." Lee tells me placing the gun on my palm with a smug look on his face.
“Lily and Josh, perfect.” I say as I tuck my gun away.
“You and I will do that, Keith and Jeremy will rush to Liz’s…” The door is pushed open and we are quick to hold our weapons and all ready to attack.
"Don't shoot, it's me." I am shocked when I see the man that Belle and i met yesterday walking in with his arms raised up.
"What the fuck do you want?" I ask still pointing my gun at him ready to fire. There is something about him that gives me the creeps.
“He works for Richard!” Jeremy alerts us and just when I am about to fire, Gilbert comes to his rescue.
“Don’t fire he is my man.” He works for Richard? I can’t trust him. I watch the Ian guy as he locks the door. And I gesture him to open his bag with my gun and he is reluctant.
