devour my existence. break my walls for a few hours so i can breathe. let me savor these last few hours before another storm hits. let me drown in my own sorrows so i won't hold all of my pain. let waterfalls seep through my eyes so that my mind won't be so flooded. devour me, night. take my mind to the beautiful land of peace. where the stars glisten and the moon is bright. where the sound of crashing waves is all i hear, alright?. night, take me away. in hopes that i won't have to deal with another day. night, release me. release me from this dark world. release me from all the misery i feel inside. night, be my escape. i can only hope that you take me in my sleep, and then wake me up at the sight of night. swallow me, night. devour my existence.
