sitting by my window
hoping to find
something beneficial
and i cant find anything
that will quite hook
beyond the superficial
nothing deep enough
in meaning
all i see are cars driving
people walking
and it's all just on the surface
so i'm waiting
for something to change
like the feeling in my heart
