my conversation with kennedy put me in a bad mood, but i didnt know what to expect anyway. i really liked hanging out her-- sometimes all i needed was to be around a girl who wasn't my girlfriend. i felt smothered by jenna at times but i just keep reminding myself why i fell for her in the first place.

kennedy's pov

the next day, lunch

"reina." kara tapped her on the shoulder. "did you know that mattia went over to her house and they didnt do anything?"

reina shoots me a look. "is there something wrong with you?" she grabs each side of my face with her hand and looks me in the eyes. "where's kennedy-- what've you done with her?"

i slap away her hand. "youre both annoying. he has a girlfriend remember?"

"okay and?" reina scoffs. "jenna's a little bitch anyway i dont know how she bagged mattia."

"i know," i agreed. "she called me a slut yesterday after school."

"what the fuck," kara shouted. "it's on sight with that bitch."

"i could care less," i shrug. "not worth it."

"did you tell mattia that his girlfriend is a psycho bitch?" reina asks.

"yeah." i nod.

"and...? what'd he say?"

"he told me we couldn't talk anymore," i answer.

reina and kara start laughing, making me smile and i shake my head.

"so she's that girlfriend?" kara says through her chuckle.

i purse my lips together. "yup."

"oh i feel bad for mattia," reina adds. "he's not gonna getting out of that relationship soon."

"we all just need to get laid," i sigh. "we need dick."

"agreed," said reina.

"aye i never got to ask you," kara says turning to me. "did you ever meet anyone cute at your other school?"

"well.." i blush, immediately making kara and reina more interested. "there was this oneeeee guy that caught my attention. we hung out like everyday."

"what's his name?" reina asks. "uh mariano castano, he's like a white latino."

"a white latino huh?" reina raises her eyebrows. "did you guys ever hook up?"

"uhhh here and there," i answer.

"ever caught feelings?" said kara.

"i admit, there was some feelings attached but that didnt work out," i tell them.

"cause you moved back here?" reina guesses.

"precisely," i confirm. "i uh never told him i was moving."

"ouch." kara whispers.

"i didn't know how to.. but he never called or texted so i assumed he didn't care," i said.

bell rings

"well," i say getting up, "i'll see you guys later."

i give them each a hug and make my way to class.
