I turned around slowly and leaned against the spindles of the railing. I then looked to Eri's room, noticing that her room door was closed. "How's Eri been doing?" I ask.
Yamada gave a chuckle as he looked down before looking back up to me and saying with a smile, "The first day that Yagi was over, she helped him make a rolled scrambled egg. She was so proud of it that she wouldn't stop talking about it. I have a feeling that when she sees you, she'll tell you about it." I gave a weak smile as I looked to the floor.
"You never said how you're feeling? Are you alright?" Aizawa asked as if he was impatient to find out what condition I was in.
"I'm alright, I really am. I'm just drained, literally. I'm so weak, but I'm surprised that I can move so quickly." I rasped out.
There was a couple seconds of silence before he asked, "What happened? And what was up with that clone?" He then turned around to look in my room as he mumbled, "Where even is it now?"
"Yeah," Yamada added, "we saw you fall from the sky on TV, but then we saw you go flying up a few seconds later." he then added under his breath, "You take the cake for giving me a heart attack...and Sho's spooked me quite a lot."
I began to explain, "When I was going to try and take out the villain, I then felt something like a pop in my chest before I began to fall. Just before I hit the ground, I used what little strength I had to generate a clone so it would take my spot." I paused to gain more strength to ask, "Did it do a good job?"
"It...it did a job." Aizawa said, not really wanting to say that it did a good enough job.
"Did it capture the villain?"
"Of course it did!" Yamada exclaimed.
Aizawa then explained, "It first turned itself invisible since you could no longer see it, but you could see that the villain was tied up and floated down to the ground slowly. Now that I think of it, the villain was probably unconscious." He paused before asking, "Can't you look back on the clone's actions?"
I nodded my head weakly, "Yeah, but I don't have enough strength...I can barely talk."
Aizawa first stood up before Yamada did the same. "C'mon, let's get you back into your room." Aizawa said.
As I was helped up with shaky legs, I asked, "What time and day is it?"
"It's Saturday..." Yamada said before pausing to look at his phone, "11:39 at night."
I nodded my head before Aizawa got me walking and said, "I'll be fine...I can walk."
"Y/N, you said yourself that you can barely talk." Aizawa said, which I then didn't say anything as they helped me in my room.
"Just help me to the sofa...I don't wanna go to bed." I said as I fought back the feeling of passing out while my head nodded.
Yamada looked closely at me, "Are you alright? Is something wrong?"
"I'm just fighting back...the urge to...pass out..." I whispered before I fell over on my side on the sofa.
I woke up with a pillow beneath my head, two blankets covering me, and Melody lying on the back of the sofa. I sit up with a little more strength than what I did during the night. Once I sat up, Melody jumped off of the back of the sofa and onto my lap. I pet her as I look around my room as though something was going to be out of place, which nothing was. I gave Melody a nudge so she would jump off of my lap and let me fold back the blankets so I could stand up. I still was quite weak, so my knees almost gave out upon putting my weight on my legs. Before I began to leave my room, I picked up my phone off of the coffee table and tucked it in my pocket after I checked the time; which was about 10:30 in the morning. I then slowly made my way out of my room and out to the railing. As I looked out, I noticed that a piece of loose paper and the notebook that had a fraction of all my quirks written in was sitting on the table while Eri was sitting on the sofa in the living-room, watching something on TV.
I made my way to the stairs and slowly made my way down them. Once I made it to the exit of the entryway, I leaned on the wall as though I was to take a break and said, "Good morning, Eri." She spun around quickly before running to me and throwing her arms around me as she almost made me fall over. She clenched tightly to the back of my hoodie as she buried her face in my hoodie. Since I had my left hand on the wall, making sure that I didn't fall over, I put my right hand on top of her head, which she then looked up to me with tears in her eyes. "What's the matter?"
She sniffled once, "I thought you were never going to get better."
"Awe...come on...you know that I'll always be alright." I said quietly as I gave a small, weak smile.
"You took three days." she said as she tried to fight back the tears that stung her eyes.
"Three days, huh?" I said, Eri nodded her head. "That's quite quick. I've been out for many weeks, even months."
She buried her face in my hoodie again, "That's horrible." she said with her voice being muffled by my hoodie.
I petted the top of her head while she calmed down. Once she calmed down, she let go of me and wiped her face on her sleeve. I asked, "Where are Aizawa and Yamada?"
She shrugged her shoulders, "They weren't here when I woke up."
I looked around the corner to the table to remember that there was a piece of paper that looked like a note. I began walking slowly to the table while Eri held on tightly to my hand, watching me to make sure that I didn't stumble. Once we made it to the table, I pulled out the chair that I usually sit on and reached for the note.
Y/N & Eri,
We were called in and we don't know how late we'll be out. Hizashi said that he made lunch, so that should be in the fridge. Y/N, you better eat or else.
- Aizawa
If you two are going to throw a party, don't forget to clean up after everybody leaves!
-Yamada
I couldn't help but give a little chuckle at the little note from Yamada. Eri then tried to read the note before asking, "What does it say?" I then read it out loud for her. "We're going to have a party?"
I gave a weak, airy laugh before I explained, "No, he's just joking about it. He usually writes something like that."
"Oh." She said as she looked down to notice that Melody was sitting next to her, looking if she should jump on her lap. Once Melody jumped on her lap, she began to pet her as she asked me, "Could you read me some of those books that are written in English?"
"Sure, bring them down here and we can read them." I said.
"Yay! Thank you!" she said happily as Melody jumped off of her lap and onto the floor.
When she was off getting the books that Yamada gave her, I went to the sofa and waited there for her.
