Chapter 112: Already put to work

I touched the bottom of my nose and looked at my fingers. Sure enough there was fresh blood on them. I then pinched my nose to try and stop the bleeding. He then passed me a few napkins, which I took and held one under my nose with the hand that was pinching it, while I tried to clean myself up with the other hand.

"Are nosebleeds common for you?" he asked as he settled back into his seat.

In a stuffed up tone I said, "No, I rarely ever get bloody noses. I thought it was odd that I had one this morning, but having one now is just too weird." I paused and tilted my head to one side slightly as I asked, "How did you know that my nose was bleeding when you're all the way up there?"

"I saw your reflection in the side mirror of the car." he replied.

As we came to a stop once again in the traffic, Yamada asked, "Did you get blood on the seat? You better not have gotten blood on my car seat."

I looked down to check, "No...I don't think so..." I then looked back up and stated, "Good thing I'm wearing black pants; the blood blends right in."

Toshi then handed me a handkerchief, "Here, this'll be a little more help than those tissues."

"But it'll get stained." I said.

"It doesn't matter; you can keep it anyway since I have too many." he said as he pushed it closer towards me.

"You sure?" I asked.

He sighed, "Y/N..." and pushed it even closer to me.

I took it as I said, "Thank you very much."

I then removed the blood soaked napkin and absorbed it into my body as I put the handkerchief below my nose and pinched it at the same time. Once traffic became less congested, we were to our destination in no time. I thought that we were going to drop Toshi off before going back to the apartment, but it turned out that we went to a café. We got out and I followed the rest of them since I'd rather be last than lead; plus I get to hide behind them all. When we found a table in the corner, away from everyone else, a waiter came by.

"Hello, how are you all doing today?" The waiter asked with a smile. We all then went around saying our different variations of 'good'. "That's good to hear. So, what would you all like to order?" He asked as he readied his pen and paper. I took the menu while the other three ordered different coffees. I then quickly decided on getting a pudding and a raspberry bubble tea. The waiter then walked off once he acquired all he needed.

"I see you're making the person who's buying go on a run for their money." Toshi said.

I scoffed, "Oh yeah, the next time the waiter comes by I'm going to order a full meal, probably two and plus some dessert." I finished with a mischievous smile.

"I'm not paying for that." Aizawa said as he crossed his arms. "Zashi, you are."

Yamada leaned forward and looked at Aizawa, who wore a smirk, "What! I'm not paying!"

I covered the lower half of my face with my sleeve as I laughed, which Toshi gave a laugh too. A few minutes later the waiter came back with our order before walking off to a different table to do his job.

"What happened to the two meals and dessert?" Toshinori asked.

I turned to him, "Oh, so you would have preferred to pay?"

He rose the mug to his face as he said, "Sorry I asked." resulting in the other two to give a little chuckle.

I picked up my spoon and a little scoop of the pudding. I tried to savor it since I hadn't had flan in forever. I also tried something new by getting a different flavor of bubble tea. I love raspberries so I figured that it wouldn't hurt to try it.
