"Well, when supper came around, Zashi went to tell you that supper was ready, but you were asleep again, so we just let you sleep. When he went to tell you that breakfast was ready, he found that note where you were on the sofa."
I paused for a moment before admitting, "That was a clone."
"Hmm?" he hummed.
"Yeah, I would have been out for a while by then."
"If that was a clone, then how did it disappear without you coming back?" I continued to eat, avoiding to answer the question. He then got the hint and said, "Never mind." in a tone that showed he understood what happened.
After I finished what little was in the lunch box, I said, "I'm sorry." as I closed the little box and put the chopsticks away in their appropriate location.
He looked to the clock then stood up and pushed the chair he was sitting in back to the correct desk. "I'll see you later."
"Right..." I said quietly as he walked away and out of the classroom.
The second half of class was spent mainly for the rest of the students to get prepared for the provisional license test. Since I already went through it, I helped those who wanted help. So in other words the second half of the day seemed more eventful than the first half. Some went to go and make adjustments to their hero costume while others prepared in other ways of their own. It almost made me glad to see how excited some of them were to be getting closer to being a pro hero. I was almost envious of that emotion since it seemed that of lately I have been dreading anything that had to do with being a hero. I wasn't sure if it was cause of recent events or what, but I wasn't up to do anything. The only thing that pushed me to do what I had to was the position that I was in. I was the world's youngest pro hero whose name started to slip, but I knew that people out there would still know who I was. It would give a bad rep for both the hero title and my name. I just sucked it up and told myself to quit being such a little bitch.
When class was over, I had gotten many thank yous from those who I helped and from the teacher who was in charge of helping out. I took a seat at my desk and waited for Aizawa and Mic to get ready to go. Once Mic popped in and asked if I was ready, I stood up and joined them in the hall. When we got to the car, I sat in the same spot that I did during the morning. After a while I broke the silence.
"I like the new bento box; it's pretty."
"Glad you like it. Hizashi picked it out." Aizawa said.
"I figured that you'd like this one better than the blue one you've been using." Yamada added.
"Thank you, I really do like it a lot." I said.
There was then silence until we got back to the apartment. I went straight up to my room to feed Melody, then dug out the bento box and brought it down to the kitchen. When I got back to my room, I looked for the note that was on the coffee table, but I couldn't find it cause I was going to put it in the drawer to my nightstand where I kept all sorts of notes and letters. I then went back down to the main area to ask about the notes whereabouts.
"Hey, where did that note go that was on my coffee table?" I asked the two.
Aizawa, who was sitting on the couch answered, "I took it and gave it to Zashi"
Yamada, who was in the kitchen preparing supper said, "I disposed of it."
"M'kay." I said as I turned to go back up to my room.
"Hey, Y/N, before you go, could you please grab one more egg out of the fridge please? My hands are full right now." Yamada asked.
I turned around and walked to the kitchen and grabbed an egg. Just as I closed the fridge door, I accidentally dropped the egg. I inhaled sharply through my teeth and began to apologize immensely as I quickly grabbed another egg, "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! The next time I go to the store I'll pick up a carton of eggs."
As he took the egg he said in an understanding tone, "It's totally fine, it was only one egg, plus it was an accident. It doesn't matter and there's no need to buy another thing of eggs."
I then grabbed some paper towels and cleaned up what I could with dry ones before I dampened some and cleaned the rest up. As I threw away the paper towels, I said, "I'm sorry."
"It seems like that's all you've been saying lately." he said as he began to fry the egg.
I hesitantly said, "Sorry..."
"Why do you keep on saying it? You have nothing to be sorry about." Aizawa said.
I leaned on the counter outside of the kitchen and said, "Of course I do. Everything that I have done has messed up something and it's my fault."
"How many times must we tell you; nothing is your fault." Aizawa said as Yamada dug around a drawer for something.
"Well the attack-"
"You didn't plan that. It was out of your control, so therefore it was not your fault." he said, cutting me off.
"Well yeah, but they were after me."
"Still, not your fault." After a pause Aizawa asked, "So, what was your plan with that note and all? It seemed like you were running away, but then you showed up looking paler and wore out."
I reluctantly said, "I first intended on running away but then things took a turn."
"You said that your recovery time had quickened. What was the damage?" Aizawa asked. I could tell that Yamada was surprised that he'd ask something like that since his expression said it all.
I did a quick sigh before picking Melody off of the counter and sat her on a stool next to me. "I was paralyzed, and had many broken bones that were snapped and facing directions in which they shouldn't have...now that I think of it, I also probably had a contusion to the head too." I explained calmly.
"And you're walking normally, so it's true that the rebound time has quickened." Aizawa said in astonishment.
Yamada then asked hesitantly, "Where did you go?"
I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know? I can now teleport to a location by just looking at an image. So I found a wooded cliff area and went there."
There was then silence as we waited for the food to get done. Shortly later we then ate and I did dishes afterwards. We talked about little things, so it seemed like it was back to how things used to be. I couldn't help but feel that they were still mad at me as if it never ended from when Aizawa got injured. When I went back to my room, I couldn't help but feel like they both hated me ever since the first time Aizawa had gotten injured from the USJ arena attack. I was up almost all night thinking about it all, but then a little past midnight I had finally fallen asleep with Melody by my feet purring.
