If you eat now, you won't have to eat later.
'True...'
Just eat it for fucks sake.
'Fine.'
I took the lid off of the bento box and revealed that three good size rice balls were there. As soon as I saw them, I was all of a sudden hungry cause they looked so good. I ate them fairly quickly before I brought it to the podium. I stretched before I went back to my seat, but as soon as I sat down, I started to feel something wet on the sleeve of my undershirt. I griped a little before disintegrating the pillow, knowing that I will no longer have time to nap. I picked up my backpack and threw it over my shoulder before walking out and to the bathroom. I locked the door behind me so then no one else would walk into the bathroom as I was changing the bandage wrapped around my arm. Once I finished with that, I went back to the classroom just as everyone else started to arrive back from lunch.
The final half of the day was boring as ever again cause everyone else was sparring again, but I was only able to go against those who were at the top of the class when it came to their quirk. After a few rounds I then had to sit out cause I would have finished them within the first few seconds. I didn't mind fighting someone in front of the whole class, but I did mind sitting there, excluded from everything cause of how advanced I was. It was at times like those when I despised being so skilled. I just about fell asleep when I was woken up by the teacher. I apologized before I stood up and walked around the ring, hoping that I'd be able to wake up a little by moving about. When the day was over, I went over to Mic's classroom to tell him thanks for the lunch. After I changed out of my gym uniform, I went back to the classrooms and to the one where I planned to go. When I got there, he was neatly packing things into a bag.
"Hey there." I said as I entered class Bs classroom.
He stopped what he was doing, looked up, and said with a smile, "Hey, what's up? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages."
"I know right?" I said, "Well anyways, I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the lunch; so thank you for the lunch. It was good as usual."
"It's good that you liked it. I made them in a hurry like I usually do and made one too many cause I'm so used to making three instead of two, so prepare to get a lunch for a few days before I break the habit of making too many." said Mic.
I smiled, "That's fine, it means that I get an awesome lunch." He chuckled a little before continuing to pack up his things. "Well then, I should be heading back to the dorm then."
Before I could walk away, he asked, "How do you like living at the dorm so far?"
I turned around to face him, "It's alright; it's kinda lonely without Melody, so it's odd to fall asleep. Speaking of Melody, how's she doing?"
"She was all over the apartment as if she was looking for you. This morning we found her on that sofa in your room when we were going to feed her." he responded.
"Yeah, that's where I usually found her sleeping." I said. He then continued once again with packing his stuff into a bag. "Well then, I'm off; see ya later."
"See you around." he said as he looked up, then back to his stuff.
I walked back to the dorm so then I could familiarize myself with the paths some more. When I passed a fountain, I saw my reflection. I panicked a little since I forgot to turn invisible. I walked along, hoping that no one saw me wandering around aimlessly. When I made it to the dorm, I remembered to activate the quirk that allowed me to go through walls. I let my bag drop to the ground as I let out a sigh and removed the invisibility quirk. I quickly changed out of my uniform and into the same shorts and grubby shirt that was wearing the night before. I couldn't help but tear off the bandages without hesitation and began to cut both my arms, thighs, and stomach. This was the first time in forever that I was on a cutting spree; I almost didn't want to stop. After I restrained myself from doing any further damage, I wrapped bandages around the bleeding areas before falling onto my bed and lying there with my feet still touching the ground, lying on my back as I watched the ceiling fade to black.
I woke up in the middle of the night again. I wanted to go out and get some fresh air. I figured that at the hour it was, which was a little after four in the morning, that no one would be on the roof. Since I thought that, I didn't bother change into something more covering such as jeans and a long sleeve shirt. I opened my room door and found the stairwell since I figured that someone would hear the elevator start up. When I made it there, I took a deep breath in and out, holding the fresh brisk night air in my lungs. I took a seat on the ground and rested my head against the spindles of the railing. After a few minutes of sitting there, I had a little sneezing fit. Since my sneezes are as quiet as a cats (or so I've been told), I wasn't worried that someone would hear me; and plus, it was the middle of the night.
"Y/N? Is that you?" I shot up and spun around to see that Midoriya was standing there. "What are you doing here?"
My mouth was ajar a little out of shock as my mind raced to try and come up with an explanation that wasn't the truth. I could tell that with every second I wasted, he grew more curious. In the end I couldn't think of anything logical.
I sighed, "I live here now."
"What!? You do!?" he said surprised.
I nodded my head as I crossed my arms, "Yep."
"Wow...when did you move? I didn't notice." asked Midoriya.
"I did yesterday after school." I responded.
"Oh, not long at all."
I shook my head, "Nope."
He paused before asking, "So, what brings you up here?"
I turned and leaned on the railing as I looked over my new surroundings, "I couldn't sleep anymore."
He walked next to me and joined me as I leaned on the railing, "Same...I tend to come up here during the night though, so it's pretty normal for me." he paused. I could tell that he wanted to say something to me cause he would look to me and open his mouth before closing it and looking away. After a while he finally asked, "Are you alright?"
"Of course, I'm fine." I said calmly.
He stood up normally from leaning on the railing and said in a serious tone as he looked at me, "Y/N, I can clearly see that you are not fine."
I didn't take my eyes off of the bunch of trees that were down on the ground in front of me, "Trust me, I am."
He took me by the shoulders and shook me, "Y/N, quit lying! I can see it with my own two eyes! You have blood soaked through on all of the bandages, not to mention that you even have a huge blood stain on your shirt. You're doing it, aren't you?"
My face grew red and hot, making me look down. I whispered, "Please, don't tell anyone, not even that I live here now."
He shook my shoulders again, "Why would I ever do that?! We all have demons to fight, though some of us have longer and tougher battles than others." He paused for a few seconds before continuing on in a saddened tone, "Since you helped me, I'm going to help you. So, that means you have to give up your razor or whatever you use." I continued to look down. "Please, Y/N; I need to help you."
I looked up to him slowly before I softly squeaked out, "Okay, follow me then."
He let go of my shoulders as I took a step back, then walked around him so I could lead the way to my dorm. After a few flight of stairs, we made it to my dorm room door. I took him by the shoulder and activated the quirk that allows me to go through walls. Once I pulled him through, I turned on the light, revealing what was in my room that was hidden by the dark. I walked into the bathroom to find what I had to give up while Midoriya stood patiently by the door. I reluctantly handed what I had over to him.
He took it as he asked, "Is this all?" I nodded my head out of embarrassment. "Okay then." He then pulled out a handkerchief and wrapped the few razors that I handed to him, before slipping them into his pocket. He looked at me with a sorrowful look, "You've looked after me for long enough, so now it's my turn to look after you."
I gave a sorrowful smile as I said, "Thank you."
He gave a caring smile, "No problem." he then added, "Well then, I should be heading back. I'll stop by the main garbage can to throw them away. Anyways, have a good night; and don't worry about your secret, I will never tell anyone." He then left my dorm, leaving me standing there as I looked at my feet.
I was now left alone with nothing, or rather what felt like nothing now that the one major thing that has been with me the longest was gone. I changed out of the clothes I was wearing and into my sleep wear before I went to bed.
