"Jungkook, your tree to tinsel ratio is sad and embarrassing."
30 minutes into tree decorating and there had been consecutively fourteen arguments and about three fake snow fights.
When Sik Hyun gave the okay to decorate the massive christmas tree at the lounge area of the Bighit building, also help decorate it for the holidays, Jisoo took the opportunity to form her own decorating team.
And by team, she means manipulate the rest of BTS into helping her out.
And by manipulating, all she did was cry and called for Mori. To scare them into doing it.
Of course, Mori wasn't going to actually do anything to them. But it was good to know someone who was taller than Jin and more intimidating.
Besides, they could never say no to her.
But the eight of them wasn't enough. So she called her boyfriend, Taeyong, to help out. Seeing as this was going to take about another day to finish.
And Taeyong, someone who also was wrapped around her finger, enlisted the help of NCT to help her.
Jisoo even roped TXT into the mix. Though there wasn't much convincing that needed to be done. They were willingly following along.
Now everything was going smoothly. Until Doyoung, a major perfectionist, just had to criticize Jungkook on his decorating skills.
Jungkook, another major perfectionist, retaliated against him and the two had been butting heads ever since.
"You're not hanging those ornaments with love and care, yourself, Doyoung." Jungkook grumbled. "Get off my dick. I'll hang tinsels the way I want to hang them."
"That's on you if you want to mess up a nice tree like this." Doyoung mumbled nonchalantly. "And my ornament skills are just fine."
"Jisoo! Doyoung is being mean again!"
"What?! Jisoo, he's lying!"
Jisoo walked by them with more Christmas lights in hand. Not really paying attention to them.
"Boys, behave or I'll ground you both."
Taeyong, Sunmi, Jin and Jaehyun were in charge with decorating the gingerbread house and gingerbread men. Seeing as they are excellent cooks and bakers, the job seemed fitting.
Namjoon, Jeno, Soobin and Jimin were in charge of setting up the lights around the room. Also to decorate the rest of the lounge room.
Jaemin, Mark, Yuta, and the rest all helped with tree decorating.
And, slowly, Jisoo was beginning to regret everything.
"I'm just saying, ketchup come from tomatoes, coconut oil comes from coconuts, so that means baby oil comes from-"
"Damn it, can't we just do something normal for once?!" Taehyung exclaimed, nearly dropping his ornaments.
Jisoo sighed, watching everything transpire. From Huening Kai and Jisung throwing fake snow at each other to Doyoung and Jungkook arguing over how to properly place tinsels on a tree.
It looked very chaotic.
But it was also funny because everyone was wearing ugly Christmas sweaters with santa hats.
"How are you holding up, honey?" Taeyong asked, suddenly appearing next to her.
His arm gently wrapped around her waist befor he gave her a soft kiss on her head. Jisoo leaned into his hold, crossing her arms.
"This could be worse." She admitted. "Lucas could be here and this all could turn into a party."
Taeyong chuckled. Yeah, Lucas would definently turn this place up.
"Noona, we're done with the tree, do you want to put the star up?" Jaemin shuffled over to her with Jeno and Beomgyu and Taehyun in tow.
Ever since TXT and NCT Dream met, it was like they were inseparable. Adding Stray Kids and Ateez, and they made their own group of friends.
Wow, that was fast. She thought it would take long with the way they were arguing earlier.
"Okay, sure!" She said as she allowed them to drag her off.
Taeyong watched with a gentle grin on his lips. It was beginning to feel like christmas for him.

"You know, the tree looks very beautiful." Jisoo complimented, after turning on the lights and placing the star at the top. "And everything looks very good in here, good job, everyone!"
"Team work makes the dream work." Jimin praised, with a proud smile. "Good thing you all came, I was afraid this would take another day, given how big this lounge room is."
"Well, the most important thing is that we finished on time." Jin said, walking towards everyone with a tray of hot cocoa.
The mugs were glass and the hot cocoa was decorated with whipped cream, festive sprinkles and cinnamon.
Jaehyun carefully carried the other tray towards everyone.
"Jin hyung and I made hot cocoa for everyone." Jaehyun said excitedly, placing the tray on a near by coffee table. "With Sunmi's help, of course."
"Thank you, Jaehyun." Sunmi said, after giving him a glare for not including her. Mark chuckled, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
"This turned out to be a great idea, noona." Huening Kai complimented, with a proud smile.
Jisoo smiled as she watched everyone gather on the couch, drinking cocoa together and smiling.
It really did begin to feel like christmas, after all.
