After a few hours of being up there, I decided that I had enough and started my way back to my room. When I got back I picked up the remote and threw it on my bed before leaving the wheelchair where it was placed by the nurse the day before. I crawled back onto the bed and turned on the TV as I sat there on top of the sheet since I was on fire. I channel surfed for something good, and as I did I ran across breaking news. It was a picture of All Might in his costume and everything, but he was in his Toshinori form. He was pointing back as he said, "You're next." It then cut to two news anchors talking about what they called an "incident".
'Incident? What happened while I was sleeping?'
I gave the TV all of my attention as I watched the news. It said that the heroes invaded the hideout of the League of Villains and took All for One into custody. After the anchors finished talking about the main event, they started talking about All Might. I had to shut off the TV. I wasn't able to watch it anymore knowing that what just happened was more than likely All Mights last fight. I then began to think that since he was in rough shape in the video on the news, that he more likely would be in the hospital. I got back onto the wheelchair and wheeled myself to the front desk to ask if Toshi was at the same hospital that I was at. After I said a name, the receptionist paused to look for him in the register.
'Man, she's taking forever...he's probably not even at this hospital. There's so many hospitals in the area that he'd more likely be at one of those.'
The receptionist looked to me with a smile, "He is in room 214."
"Th-thank you." I said before wheeling off to the elevator.
As I was brought up to the second floor I realized that he was on the same floor as me, just on the opposite end of the hall. I then made my way out of the elevator and to his room. I knocked on the door and waited for approval to enter. As I waited for the approval, I heard voices getting closer to the door. When the voices were on the other side of the door, it opened and revealed a cop that was Toshinori's friend and Gran Torino. They both stopped abruptly.
"Ah, hello there Blank." said Gran Torino "Hadn't seen you in a while."
In a slightly raspy voice I said, "I know right? The last time we met was when we had to deal with those weird beasts."
"Heh, yeah, and Todoroki kept on interrupting our reunion." He said with a chuckle. "So you came by to see Toshinori?"
I nodded my head, "Yeah, I'm just down the hall from here so it's not that far."
"What are you here for? What happened?" The officer asked.
I looked off to the side as I said, "It's complicated."
They then walked out of the room and stopped a few feet to the side of me. "Well, I hope you recover quickly." Gran Torino said.
"Thanks, I'll try." I said.
They gave me a nod with a smile before walking off. I then wheeled into the room and stopped next to the chair that was by Toshinori's bed.
"How did you know I was going to be here?" Toshi asked.
I shrugged my shoulders, "I didn't. I figured that I had nothing better to do, so I went to the front desk to see if you were here, and out of sheer luck you were."
"So I take it you saw what happened on the news?"
"Just now, yeah. I was sleeping when it happened last night, so I didn't see the news or anything until a little bit ago." I replied.
He then said in a bummed out tone, "I see."
There was a pause for a few minutes as we both looked down. I then asked, "So, how do you feel?"
