"Where're you going?" Aizawa asked.
"I'm going in." I said with anger in my voice.
He too now stood up, "What are you so angry about now?"
"It's too hot, there's too many bugs, and I'm bored." I said in a near grumble.
He scoffed before saying, "Too many bugs? Since when are you Hizashi? And too hot? Then why do you wear pants with your uniform? I thought all the girls were supposed to wear skirts?"
"I got the OK from Nezu that I could wear pants instead of a skirt." I said with anger still in my voice.
"Well yeah, but why?" He asked again.
I raised an eyebrow, "You've seen me wearing shorts."
He paused to think about it, then said, "That's right...I should have known."
I waved my hand as I turned to go back into the building. "It's fine, now, I'm going in. Call me when they get back."
When about five o'clock rolled around I decided to join Aizawa, who was still sitting outside. After about a half an hour of sitting there, they started to trickle out of the woods. They looked tired out and exhausted. The two of the Wild Wild Pussycats came out and told everyone that they can eat, but before everyone could move a muscle, Aizawa said something first.
"After you all eat, go and get settled into your rooms, take a bath, relax, cause tomorrow is when the real training starts."
The class grumbled about it and shuffled their feet to the dining hall. Those of us who weren't tired out followed behind the rest.
As we followed the class to the dining hall, Aizawa whispered to me, "You're eating, right?"
I sighed internally before responding, "Yes, I am."
I waited until I was last to get food. I got a little, nothing too much. I wasn't all that hungry so I didn't want to grab more than what I was able to eat and waste anything. As I looked around for a place to sit, everyone was eating as if they have never eaten before. I'm sure that if you gave some of them a bone as if they were a dog, they'd eat it. It almost frightened me at how fast they were eating and how much they were consuming. I found a little area by the window and ate there. I pulled my earbuds out of my pocket and listened to music so I could drown out the loud group of people that was behind me. I ate my food in peace as I listened to my music. When I was done and just about to stand up to bring my dishes to the counter, Aizawa stopped by and slipped a diner roll onto my tray.
I pulled out an earbud as I asked, "Don't you want it?" He just gave me a 'you're going to eat it and that's that' look. I picked it up and tore a piece off as I said, "Fine, I'll eat it." then put the piece that I ripped off into my mouth. He then walked away, satisfied knowing that I'll eat it.
I began to think that he knew me too well. For example, if I started to eat something, he knew that I would finish it since I don't like to waste food; which is a habit from my past. I try to use that as an excuse as to why I eat so little. I get away with it most of the time, but it doesn't work with Aizawa. Anyways, when I finished eating the diner roll, I put the other earbud back in my ear and stood up to go and put my dirty dishes on the counter. As I walked there, I noticed that nearly everybody still had their tray full of food, so they must have gone back for seconds. Once I put my tray in its designated spot, I turned around and noticed that Midoriya was waving his arm so he could get my attention. I nodded my head indicating to him that I acknowledged him, for which he then motioned me to go to him. I walked over to him as I unplugged my headphones, wrapped them up and tucked them into my pocket along with my phone.
"What's up?" I asked as I then slid my hands into my pockets.
He patted the seat next to him, "Sit with us, you don't need to be alone on the class trip." He said with a worn out smile. I then sat down and laid my hands in my lap. "Why didn't you join us?"
I explained, "Pretty much everything that you all have to do is optional for me. What you'll be doing is strengthening your quirks, which is what will help you guys become better heroes. If I were to train too, I brought something along that will help with that."
Sounding interested he asked, "What did you bring?"
"Before I left I-island, I stopped by to see how Dave was doing. He gave me this invention that acts like a virtual reality headset, but just projects things instead of wearing a headset. He said that all I have to do is put in some settings and it will generate stuff that I can do so I can strengthen that said quirk." I said, half assing the explanation of something so simple.
"That's so cool! Can I borrow it sometime?" Midoriya asked, sounding excited about the invention that I get to use.
I shrugged my shoulders, "I suppose, but I should first figure out how it runs and if it works before you get to use it. If I think it's beneficial then I'll lend it to you for a day or two."
"Awesome!" He exclaimed as he rose his arms above his head. He then turned to Todoroki who was sitting on the other side of him, "Did you hear that? I get to use one of David Shield's inventions probably!"
Todoroki quickly swallowed what he was eating since he was caught off guard by Midoriya's excitement and said sounding supportive of his excitement over a little invention that hasn't even been used yet. "Yeah, that's cool. You'll have to tell me how it goes, cause then I'll have to borrow it too if you think it's helpful."
I smiled a little and gave it a little chuckle before saying to Todoroki, "Sure, you can use it whenever you'd like."
"Thank you." He said before going back to eating.
I turned to Midoriya, "Well then, I better let you finish eating; see ya later." I then stood up.
"Alright then, later." He said before continuing what he put on pause.
I walked to my room to gather things so I could take a bath before all of the other girls would join. Once I got to my room, I started to panic that they'd see my scars, so I practically sprinted to the bath, quickly cleaned up, then went to go and relax in the water for a little bit since I figured I had a few seconds to kill. I'm not a public bath sort of person, but as long as I get to have it all to myself, I don't give a single flying fuck. After a few minutes, I used a quirk to locate the girls so I would know how far they were. Good thing that I did that cause they were almost to the bath. I quickly jumped out of the water and into the locker room. I quickly dried off and threw my clothes on. Thank god I got out in time because as soon as I pulled on my hoodie, they walked in. My heart was racing since I got scared that they were going to see my scars, and I didn't want to explain it; at least not while we were on our trip.
I walked past everyone, but Uraraka stopped me and asked, "Did you already use the bath?"
"Yep." I answered simply.
"Is it nice?"
I smiled a little, "Yes, it is very refreshing and relaxing."
She sounded relieved that she gets to unwind with a relaxing bath, "Ahh, that sounds great."
"It is! Well, I better be going. Enjoy the bath." I said as I continued my way to the exit.
"I will!" She said sounding like her usual happy and excited self.
As soon as I got back into my room and closed the door, I leaned against the wall and slid down so I was sitting on the floor. I had a mini panic attack since it was kinda close that one of them could have seen my scars. After I had an episode, I threw my stuff by my bag and made myself comfortable on my futon that was provided. Since I wasn't used to sleeping on one, it took a few hours before I could actually fall asleep. I don't know why I was still so tired even though I slept nearly all day. Well, I guess it didn't matter at the end of the day, cause I was happy that I was able to sleep so I didn't have to feel any of those shitty emotions that keep a person up for days on end.
