"What do you expect? Only a deaf person would not hear all the screaming. Were they forget that I live with them now?" I was being sarcastic but my voice was small.

Sehun let out a sigh again. "Actually, maybe yes." I stared at him. "Maybe they were forgotten for a moment because after weeks you start living with us, we still don't get used to it." He said honestly. "When you saw Chanyeol killed Nayoung at Lay's party, Baekhyun felt bad about it and he doesn't agree with Lay's decision to let you stay with us."

"So, you don't want me to stay with you? I can leave." I said but there was no confidence in it.

"No, Yuri, I want you to stay. Don't misunderstand, Baekhyun doesn't want you to live with us because he's afraid it will be too much for you."

I bit my lower lip nervously. So they were about kicking me out of the house, only Sehun and Lay were on my side.

"Oh, hyung." Sehun said and I turned around. Baekhyun and Chanyeol were standing not far from us.

Baekhyun walked closer and looked hesitant. "I'm sorry for all the terrifying things you saw last night, Yuri. And I'm sorry for touching you with my dirty hands. I know you scared of me now but don't worry, I'll take a safe distance for you." He gave me a sad smile.

"I'm not scared of you." I said with a firm tone even though the volume was low. I wasn't sure with what I was saying. "You take care of me more than anyone else in the house, you treat me nicely even though I'm just an outsider and I'm grateful for that. I just a little bit of surprised. That's all, sunbae. But if you want me to leave-"

"No, no, Yuri." He cut me off. "I don't mind and I'm happy you are living with us because of I kind of like you. Ah, not in a romantic way of course. It's just that our house isn't a normal house. Something like last night often happens in our house and it's not the best house for a girl like you. You know what I mean, right?" I nodded slowly, and he continued. "I know you are in danger and you have no place to go, only us could protect you, so hang in there."

I nodded again, believing the peace night would come.

Baekhyun threw a mindless comment when I was enjoying a late snack with Sehun at the kitchen and Baekhyun took out a bottle of cold wine from the refrigerator. He said why Sehun more looked like my boyfriend than Kai. He laughed, and I knew he was joking but Sehun was tensed in his seat. When Baekhyun left the room, the awkward feeling was lingering between us.

It was Saturday morning when Chen came and interrupted the peace in the dining room. He greeted us cheerfully and Lay only rolled his eyes. Baekhyun and the others except Chanyeol welcome him warmly.

"Lay, I bring a message for you." Chen said as he took out a navy-blue envelope from his coat.

Lay raised his eyebrows suspiciously but he took it. After he read the content, he scoffed in disbelief and threw the envelope on the table.
