"Of course she would." He then whispered though no one was in the same section of train that we were on, "She's the youngest pro hero, why wouldn't she be invited to attend the event?"
"Invited? You mean she's not one of your guests like me?" Midoriya asked.
Toshinori shook his head, "Nope, she received a letter of invitation." He then looked to me, "Are you tired, Y/N?" I nodded my head. "How can you be tired on such an exciting day?!"
"I'm so excited that I wasn't able to sleep!" Midoriya said, sounding excited as ever.
"Well then, you should sleep when we get on the plane. It'll be a long day." Toshi said.
Midoriya nodded his head as he said, "Yeah, I should." He then turned to me and asked, "Is that all you need? A little backpack?"
I looked down to it then to Midoriya, "Yeah, I don't need much, so I decided that it would be better to take a reasonable size bag instead of a huge suitcase that's going to be nearly empty. I still have a little room though to pick stuff up from the trip."
"I wish I could pack as light as you do." he said, "I have practically everything except the kitchen sink in here." He tapped his hand on his suitcase. "I didn't know what I needed, so I packed some stuff to just play it safe."
"Yeah? That's always good to pack like that cause you never know what's going to happen and if you'll need it. It's always a good idea to be prepared." I said.
A few minutes after I said that, we arrived at the station. We got off and hailed a taxi to the airport. Once we got all checked in, we then walked to the plane and boarded it. When we were all buckled in and the pilots got the okay to leave the runway, we were on our way to I-Island.
As soon as we had lift off, I started to have a panic attack cause I had never been on a plane before and I was kinda scared that the plane was going to either blow up or crash...or both. When Midoriya noticed that I was freaking out, he put his hand on my shoulder and tried to comfort me the best he could without causing more panic. Once I calmed down, we started to talk while Toshi slept on a bed close to the piloting cabin.
"So, is this your first time flying?" Midoriya asked.
Still a little shaky I said, "Y-yeah...I'm honestly k-kinda scared. Aren't y-you?"
He smiled, "No, not really, but I'll be here to help you overcome your slight fear. There's nothing to be afraid of." He then unbuckled and stood up. "See?"
I put my arm out, "N-no! D-don't! S-sit down before you g-get hurt."
He shook his head while still wearing a smile, "I won't get hurt." He then stood in front of me and put his hand out, "Come and join me. Stand up and you'll see that it's nothing to be scared of." I hesitantly moved my hands towards the buckle of the seat belt, but then pulled them back. He then said softly, "Come on, you are perfectly safe." I then slowly unbuckled myself, and once I did, I dug my nails into the arms of the seat. "You're halfway there." He said calmly. I slowly pushed myself up, stood up and took a step. "See? Perfectly safe."
As soon as I got comfortable, the plane started to encounter turbulence. Out of fear, I quickly sat down and buckled up, then had another panic attack. I dug my fingernails into the arms of the seat again, and out of my rugged breathing, I was able to get out, "Never again...never again..." and kept repeating it quietly under my breath.
Midoriya rubbed my shoulder again as he whispered, "I'm sorry, Y/N; I was only trying to help you overcome it."
Once I calmed down I said, "It's fine, I understand that you were trying to help. It's my stupid head that's causing me to freak out. Only if I wasn't so stupid."
