"No no no, I know what it looks like. Calm down dee." I was breathing hard again, hyperventilating. He rubbed my back, trying to calm me down.

"How can I calm down when you're showing me a ring?! Out of a velvety box too!" I shrieked.

"You're asking for a break but I don't want to, but I can give you space..."

"By giving me a ring?!" We have only known each other for like 3 months and more and only got together barely a month!

"I know it all seemed so fast but hey, we're living together so if you think about it, we're past marriage don't you think?" He chuckled

"But I know it's crazy and it's only been a few months so I'm giving you space." He caressed my face and I sighed

"Will two years be enough?" I blinked

"I'll give you the freedom for two years, but that doesn't mean you can date. You're still mine. Got it?" I sighed in relief a but then realized something else.

"You're enlisting?" He nodded and put the small box on my hands

"If you still want to be with me then, wear the ring when I get dimissed. If you really don't want me anymore, you can return this box to me and I'll understand." I stared at him and he gave me a small smile

"Or when you get dismissed you can take the ring from me... in case you're the one who will realize that I'm—"

"Nonsense. This is a ring from my encestors you know? It has been passed down to the Kwons for generations. Marriage is not something to be taken lightly dee. You think this is just some kind spur of the moment decision for me? Crazy? True, but I'm serious."

"So it's all on me?" I squeaked

"It's always up to girls you know? But I'm not forcing it on you and saying no doesn't mean it's the end of us. It just simply means you're not ready yet and I'll respect that. But just so you know, I have no plans on letting you go."  I sniffed and buried my face at the nook of his neck again.

"Two years... that will be enough time ji. Thank you." A knock came on his window and he lowered it down

"Uhm... can I get back in now?" I laughed. J forgot my brother was with us.

"Dara! Did you know about this?!" Chaerin and minzy shrieked.

"About the enlistment? Yes. About the marriage? I was surprised too." The whole country's a buzz. No, the world is. Reality is starting to come down to fans as their beloved idols are now settling down.

"And what?" What did they expect me to say?

"What about you and you know." Chaerin nudged me

"What about us?"

"Well did you guys break up or what?"

"I'll still go see him during his free time chae and besides.. I need to prepare by then." I gave her the paper I've been holding and she opened it while minzy excused herself.

"You're resigning?!" She screeched. I quickly covered her mouth and awkwardly smiled to the people who turned their heads to us.

"I want to make a name for  myself and I can't do that here." She sighed and held my hand

"How are you gonna do that exactly?"

"I..  accepted siwon's offer." She gasped

"You're marrying him?!" My eyes widened

"What? No! He asked me to be their model and I'm willing to give that a try."

"As you know, siwon's family owns a huge company that has variety of businesses and siwon was put in charge of their beauty magazine and he wants me to be their face. I rejected him at first but I just asked him if the offer still stands so yeah..." she nodded

"Great." She grinned and ripped my resignation letter. My brows furrowed

"What?"

"Since we're actually working with catalogs and magazines except we're in customer service for the consumers who would love to buy the items they see in magazines, that guy was one step ahead. There was a reason why he got a job here when he's already an heir. To cut it short, he acquired this company and we'll be doing major changes soon. He said he's too lazy to hire new people when he already has ones that knows their thing. He hired mino as photographer too and I was actually hired as the stylist so and some will still stay as customer service representatives for his company." Oh. I dumbly sat down, trying to process everything.

"Wow." Was all I could say

"Right? Anyway. The announcement will be made in three days but we'll slowly let everyone know about the changes cause of course. It's gonna be a major change. Those who choose to stay are always welcome, those who wants to leave will be properly compensated." I slowly nodded then smiled

"That means I won't have to leave." I squealed and hugged her.

"What did we miss?" Minzy came back with bom who looked like a wreck. Her eyes were puffy and her mascara's all over the place.

"No. What did we miss?" I asked, eyeing bom

"Tabiii!" Bom started to bawl and we rushed to her side, trying to calm her down.

"The idiot didn't tell me abkut their enlistment. Don't I deserve to know?" She sobbed

"To be fair. He did tell you he was going to tell you something important when you went down on him." Minzy uttered and my jaw dropped

"So what? He can tell me when he's pleased."

"Not with you distracting him like that." chaerin snickered.
