*Bumblebee's POV*

I watched in horror as a blast went straight for (Y/N). It hit her right in the chassis, and I couldn't help but scream. I ran forward and instantly, cradled her to my body.

:(Y/N), no, please no:, I whisper to myself, watching her face, hoping she'll be fine. A ground bridge opens nearby, and I dont hesitate to pick her up and walk into the ground bridge, watching her face the entire time. I nearly stumble but keep myself upright as to not hurt her anymore.

As soon as I walk through, I hear several anguished cries, the loudest coming from my charge. I look to Ratchet and stare at him pleadingly.

:You have to save her. Please. You have to save the love of my life.:

Ratchet was instantly on the move, having me place her on the medical berth Ratchet had scrounged together. He was instantly welding and checking her vital signs. I couldn't help but start pacing, nervously watching.

:She can't die, she can't die:, I kept repeating to myself. :I need to tell her I love her. I have to tell her that.:

I felt a small tap on my pede and I look down to see Raf. I kneel down and he hugs me tightly.

"There's something you should know, Bee. She told me to tell you if she got seriously hurt or if she died. I think..." Raf stopped, holding back a sob. "I think she knew something like this might have happened."

:What did she want me to know?: I instantly asked, gently picking Raf up and staring at him, my optics wide with sadness.

Raf smiled sadly. "She wanted you to know who the father of her daughter was. But first, let me emphasize wha the emphasized. She loves you way more than she did him. She would do anything to protect you, even if it means dying. Her daughter's father left because he wasn't ready to be a father and she was kind of mad at him for that. And then she met you and she learned how to forgive but never to forget. She really loves you, Bee."

I smile sadly. :And I love her. I just wish she wouldn't keep these from me. I don't even care who the father of her daughter was, I just want to slap him upside the helm for leaving her. She's quite the catch and her daughter would have been even more so. I bet her femmeling would have been amazing.:

Raf laughed nervously. "I feel you won't be saying that once I tell you who the father is. Cause you know him. I never met him, but that's because he was killed just like a day before I met you guys."

My optics widen as I think about it. :No. He couldn't be the father. He was smarter than that.:

Raf chuckled before calling to Arcee. "Hey, Arcee! How smart was Cliffjumper?"

"Not very smart!" Ratchet answered for Arcee, before focusing on his work to heal (Y/N).

Raf full on laughs before turning to me. I set Raf down before stumbling back and sitting down. How.... they weren't sparkmates, were they? Why... why didn't she tell me this? Why didn't Cliffjumper mention any of this? I would've thought he would've said something about having a daughter. Unless... unless he really didn't care. The only one who would know...

:Arcee:, I say quietly, though I still managed to catch her attention. She turned to me and I continued on. :Did Cliffjumper ever mention anything about having a daughter?:

"No, he said nothing. Why?", Arcee asks. I glower at the ground.

:Remember how (Y/N) said she had a daughter?: I ask her dangerously.

"I don't like where this is going", Arcee replies cautiously.

:I don't like it either... but... Raf says that (Y/N) said Cliffjumper was the father of her daughter.:

Arcee frowns before sighing. "I can check what little stuff he had here and see if he made any mention of it. Let me know if (Y/N)'s condition gets better or worse."

I nod and walk over to where Ratchet was. He looked up at me.

"I've done all that I can do. All we can do now is wait", Ratchet says. I nod.

"Alright. Is it alright if I sit by her?" I ask quietly. Ratchet nods and I sit next to her, gently taking her servo in mine. I don't say anything for a bit after Ratchet leaves, trying to come up with the right words to say.

"I love you so much, (Y/N). I'd have even loved your daughter as my own if she was still alive today. I wish I had known who her father was sooner. Cliffjumper never made any mention of it. Anyway, that's not important now. Please come back to me. I need you. I love you."
